Kalan.FrFr Features Blxst On New Summer Single “No Stoppin”

Kalan.FrFr is an artist hailing from Los Angeles, California. He is equipped with a melodic flow and sharp lyricism which has cemented him as the leader of LA’s new hip-hop class. In 2021, he signed to Roc Nation and released his first project, TwoFr. Now, he’s back and eager to let everyone know that he’s here to stay.

The Cali native collabed with Blxst, a jack of all trades in the music industry, to deliver a romantic single. “No Stoppin” was released on Friday, June 24– just in time for the summer. Both Kalan and Blxst took turns sharing the story about a special lady in their life. Despite the ups and downs they might face, they are willing to fight through the relationship’s triumphs and focus on the good.

As the fast-paced R&B inspired record played, the two musicians took turns spitting some incredibly relatable bars. Kalan managed to make the hook catchy and appealing to the ear, singing, “I get in my feelings, I don’t need nobody. Hear me, you know everybody needs somebody.”

This record is the official second single from Kalan’s upcoming project, which will arrive later this summer. Stream the new love song on all platforms now.

Quotable Lyrics

I know you can find a better love in another one
We both know I’ll always be your other one
Always be the one to come through when you need it
Always be the one to patch your heart when it’s leaking

La La Anthony’s 40th Birthday Found Her Posing For The Camera In A Tiny Beige Thong

In celebration of La La Anthony’s 40th birthday yesterday (June 25), many of the mother of one’s friends did their part to ensure that she felt the love from them, whether on social media or in real life.

Kim Kardashian had an incredibly impressive collection of throwback photos to share with her girlfriend, giving followers a sneak peek at everything from the sleepovers they still have because they’ll “never be too old” for them to their “wild” nights out on the town in Vegas, Los Angeles, New York, and more.

“Happy Birthday to the most loyal, craziest friend on the planet!” the reality star wrote to her friend. “@lala My ride or die! I couldn’t do this life without you.”

Other uploads from Kardashian saw her and La La hanging out with friends like Kelly Rowland and Serena Williams, as well as celebrating Halloween in some skin-tight costumes.

Ciara also had some heartwarming throwback photos to share with the Power actress, many of which saw them laughing and sharing smiles that stretched from ear to ear.

“Happy Birthday to my boo @lala!” the Sports Illustrated Swim cover star penned in her caption. “You light up every room you’re in. Here’s to the most lit birthday year ever! Love you so much Birthday Queen.”

For the birthday girl’s part, she bared it all (well, almost) for IG in a beige thong and a top made of crystals that leaves little to the imagination. “Thank you for all the love today and every day,” Anthony wrote to her 13.3M followers.

“I feel so blessed and my day has been so special.”

Oliver Tree Beats Up Fan Who Rushed Stage: Watch

You never know what to expect from Oliver Tree. The singer/comedian has made a name for himself through his bizarre persona and unique style. He thrives on taking left turns when you least expect it- like making his latest project, Cowboy Tears, a country album.

At a recent performance at the Forgotten Runes NFT convention in New York City, Tree put his unpredictability on full display. When a fan rushed the stage during his set, Tree beat him up.

In the video that has been making the rounds since the event, a fan can be seen dancing on stage as Tree performs. At first, the artist ignores him, but when the fan tries to put his hat on Tree’s head, he loses it and immediately puts him in a headlock. The two fall to the ground and Tree begins to wallop him with uppercut after uppercut.

After a few moments, security guards make it up on stage and intervene, pulling Tree off of him. It seems the fan slides back into the crowd. Tree is clearly riled up, shouting into the microphone, “Get the f**k out of here. Get this f**king prick out of here.” According to TMZ, people at the performance said the police weren’t called and the fan was escorted out of the space, though not before telling his fellow crowd members, “Don’t go on stage or you will get beat up by Oliver Tree.”

Take a look at the video below. It doesn’t look like Tree is too encumbered by his bulky costume.

Bktherula Remakes “THROUGH 2 U” With Ski Mask The Slump God

Bktherula is a rage rapper hailing out of Atlanta, Georgia. The 19-year-old stands out in the music industry as she has combined her magnetic melodies with airtight bars. Bk re-emerged to the music scene this year when she dropped “Keep da K/Coupe,” and now she’s back to remind everyone that her future is bright.

Friday (June 24), she released her single, “THROUGH 2 U” featuring Ski Mask the Slump God. Bk paired her thrashing, confident rhymes with Ski Mask’s breakneck flow over the chilling PerryVsTheWrld-produced beat. Seemingly the perfect combination, Ski Mask’s shameless, unfiltered bars matched effortlessly with Bk’s equally demanding delivery.

Being more than willing to push against the boundaries of mainstream hip-hop, Bk’s new record is something that her fans have already heard. She dropped “THROUGH 2 U” in 2021 as a part of her Love Black project. Her decision to add Ski Mask the Slump God to the already highlighted record vividly showed her compassion for creating exciting new musical worlds.

Chris Brown, Lil Wayne, & Bleu Have A Hit On Their Hands With “Possessive”

Chris Brown spent weeks relentlessly teasing his fans about the impact that his tenth studio album, Breezy, would have on their lives, and now that it’s here, we can confirm that he put together an impressive body of work – though it’s not expected to debut at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart as his Indigo project did.

First week sales projections placed the 23-track listen as moving 60K – 70K equivalent album units in the coming days; far lower than the 108K he did last time around. Regardless, though, the music speaks for itself, and the father of three’s collaboration with Lil Wayne and Bleu on “Possessive” is a definite standout.

“When you love someone, yeah, you can feel it in your bones / Tryna do what he never did, set the tone,” Bleu kicks things off. “I remember we was at war when I slept alone / I wrote this shit for the most beautiful love that I ever known.”

For his part, Wayne spits, “I’m tryna caress ya, these other n*ggas tryna correct ya / I’m tryna just let you be you, baby, I promise no pressure / I honour your presence, see you, act like I found me a treasure / And time is of essence, I want you to know mine is invested.”

Other Breezy songs we’ve spotlighted this weekend include Brown’s link up with Jack Harlow on “Psychic” and with New York’s drill icon Fivio Foreign on “C.A.B. (Catch A Body).” Stream “Possessive” on Spotify or Apple Music below, and tap back in with HNHH later for more music news updates.
