Fat Joe To Bring “The Fat Joe Show” To Starz In Primetime Slot

Fat Joe is bringing his talk show, The Fat Joe Show, to the network Starz, where he says it will have a primetime slot every Sunday after BMF and Power. With the deal, Joe joins 50 Cent as the only rappers in partnership to release shows for the network.

Joe broke the news regarding the future of his talk show during an interview on Math Hoffa’s My Expert Opinion.

“Eventually, after every Sunday after you watch BMF and Power, you’re going to see The Fat Joe Show on STARZ network,” Joe revealed.

He continued: “It was a lot of channels trying to get this shit. Puff is my partner, and we chose there because it’s primetime every Sunday, and I can’t tell you no more. I already broke the news. Nobody ever heard that.”

The original run of The Fat Joe Show is available on Revolt and features the iconic New York rapper discussing all things pop culture, sports, politics, and more with a wide array of guests. In the first season, Dwyane Wade, Nick Cannon, Big Sean, and Shaq all appeared on the show, among others.

Later in his interview with Hoffa, Joe slammed Tekashi 6ix9ine as “a pussy, a sucka, a bitch.” The polarizing rapper eventually fired back at Joe when a clip from the interview went viral, calling him “jealous” and miserable.”

Donovan Mitchell Could Get A Say In Jazz Head Coaching Search

Donovan Mitchell and the Utah Jazz have not been on the greatest of terms as of late. There have been various rumors about how he feels within the locker room especially as it pertains to teammate Rudy Gobert. Mitchell is also reportedly fed up with never going deep in the postseason even if he has the team and pieces to do so.

With all of that being said, the Jazz are in a predicament now as Quin Snyder recently stepped down as the team’s head coach. The position must be filled and according to ESPN, Mitchell feels a little down in the dumps now that he doesn’t have his head coach anymore. Snyder and Mitchell got along great but as Adrian Wojnarowski reports, Mitchell isn’t so sure about the team’s future now that Snyder has moved on.

Per Wojnarowski:

“Amid the reverberations of Quin Snyder’s departure after eight seasons as the Utah Jazz coach, All-Star guard Donovan Mitchell is described as “unsettled, unnerved and wondering what it means for the franchise’s future,” sources told ESPN on Sunday.

Mitchell considered Snyder a significant part of his reasoning for committing to a five-year maximum contract extension in 2020, and Snyder’s decision to step away on Sunday has left Mitchell “surprised and disappointed,” sources told ESPN.”

According to reports from NBC and reporter Andy Larsen, it would appear as though Mitchell is angling himself to get a say in the next head coach. This would be a huge decision for the Jazz to make, however, Mitchell is a huge star and they will want to appease him as losing him would be devastating to that franchise.

Stay tuned to HNHH for updates on this developing story.

Juelz Santana Explains Why The LOX Really Is A Better Group Than Dipset After Their ‘Verzuz’ Battle

Drink Champs certainly instigates its fair share of drama in the hip-hop world, but at its core, the show is (ostensibly) about giving modern-day rap heroes their flowers while they can still appreciate them. In reality, it gives the stars of yesteryear a chance to share some of their experiences, whether insightful, spiteful, or just downright hilarious, and give their opinions on the current state of hip-hop.

While recent episodes have certainly sprouted a certain amount of bitterness, in the latest episode, Diplomats’ member Juelz Santana, fresh from a stint in federal prison, instead saluted his group’s recent competition by way of another props-giving platform, Verzuz. Juelz admitted that the night of the Verzuz battle between The LOX and Dipset proved why the former is a better group overall.

“We are individual artists that came together as a collective to form what we formed, which is called Dipset,” he elaborated. “They came in this game as LOX, they perform as a group. Me and Cam have great records together, but we don’t have those back-to-back records like Styles P and Jadakiss.”

Elsewhere in the podcast, Juelz discussed his addiction to lean, describing how Houston rapper Paul Wall introduced him to the drug, while recording with Lil Wayne exacerbated the situation. You can watch the full interview above.
