Quotable Lyrics:

I wear my chain proud, it’s a trophy
I’m with the same crowd, these the brodies
I don’t got the same mind, you don’t know me
You don’t gotta do it loud, keep it low-key
I’m tryna be here for mine, I can’t hold you
The Forgiatos twenty-four, this for Kobe
I shouldn’t have to say, you know that you owe me
You ain’t gotta search, you know that it’s on me

Young Nudy Responds To Students Crashing Through Floor In Airbnb

He wants his fans to turn up to his music, but safely enough to not destroy the floor of a home. Earlier this week, we reported on the unfortunate moment with several graduating students were gathered together at an Airbnb to celebrate the end of their high school careers. In a clip that went viral, viewers can see the crowd close together in a room as they jump and dance to Young Nudy’s single “EA” featuring 21 Savage. Then, everything erupts in chaos as the camera goes flying and screams are heard.

“The party got too lit and the floor caved in and people got hurt,” a young man named Abraham Nelson wrote on a GoFundMe campaign he launched following the incident.  “We are now looking at $15,000 in damages Please donate if you can anything helps.”

Young Nudy was made aware of the party-gone-wrong and spoke with Rolling Stone about the incident. “One of my fans kept sending me that sh*t so I went and clicked on it. And then I seen the sh*t and was like ‘damn they done fell through the floor,'” the rapper said. The outlet asked if Nudy ever thought something like this would happen when he recorded the track.

“Hell nah. You never know what the future gonna look like when you making the music,” he said. “I knew they was gon’ f*ck with it but I ain’t think they were about to god damn fall through the floor.” Nudy will reportedly be giving a contribution to the GoFundMe and shared why he decided to help with the repair costs.

“I just wanted to f*ck with em’ since they were f*ckin with me. And they some little high school kids, you know?” He also said that he’s never been to a party where things got that intense, and he dropped off advice for fans on how to enjoy his music safely.  “Make sure your house is goddamn-structured right. Before you throw a party with a huge amount of people, make sure that sh*t structured right. We don’t want nobody to hurt themselves. Even though that sh*t was lit, you feel me?

Roddy Ricch Reveals He’s Most Excited To Get Into The Studio With Kendrick Lamar

Regardless of their status in the industry, rappers always have at least one artist they’re most excited to work with in the studio. Even our favorite veteran legends can name someone that they vibe with musically the most, and award-winning rapper Roddy Ricch didn’t hesitate to share who his most “in tune” fellow artist is when asked.

Just ahead of the release of his new single “Late At Night” and its retro-inspired visual, Roddy caught up with Nick Cannon on his Power 106 show for the Los Angeles radio station. The L.A. native chopped it up about his single and cinematic takes on his song’s visuals, and between Cannon’s praises, the radio host wanted to know who Roddy was the most excited to “get into the studio and make some magic with.”

“One person in particular that I know that when we really, really, really get in tune, we really get in sync, it could be something crazy is my big bro Kendrick [Lamar],” Roddy said of his fellow Angeleno. “I ain’t really got the full-blown opportunity to really just lock-in months or weeks at a time so it’s just like, I know when that happen, I’ll be excited for that.”

An excited Cannon told the rapper that that’s the collaboration that Hip Hop needs to “put on for the west.”

“I feel like it’s gon’ work whenever the perfect time is and if it never happens, it’s just something that I always, like that’s somebody I always feel like inspired me to do it,” Roddy added. Just prior to delivering his answer, however, Roddy couldn’t help but laugh.

“You gon’ have n*ggas calling me after this.” Check out Roddy Ricch’s full interview with Nick Cannon below and let us know if you think a Roddy-Kendrick link is what Hip Hop needs.

Jasiah Details The ‘Art Of War’ With Rico Nasty And Denzel Curry On Their Raucous New Song

At the beginning of 2021, all signs pointed to the new year being an exciting one for Ohio native Jasiah. The prospering act has grown thanks to pushing his limits in a number of genres and seemingly staying focused on remaining true to himself and refusing to conform at any extent. Jasiah’s latest song, “Art Of War,” finds him side by side with a pair of energetic and sharp-cutting rappers: Denzel Curry and Rico Nasty. The trio combines their high-octane energies for an absolute head-banging track, one that should be perfect for the mosh pits that are set to return at festivals later this year.

The track arrives after Jasian dropped War back in April. The 7-track effort came equipped with features from Rico Nasty, Nascar Aloe, and Pouya. However, it’s not only Jasiah that’s been busy lately. Curry reunited with Kenny Beats to drop Unlocked 1.5 earlier this year, a collaborative edition of their Unlocked project, which this time came with contributions from Arlo Parks, Benny The Butcher, Charlie Heat, Kenny Mason, Jay Versace, Sango, and more.

Rico Nasty, on the other hand, is preparing a project to release this summer, or so it seems. She recently shared an image of two prescription bottles with the caption “Rx . This summer 🎀🧚🏾.” Perhaps this means the DMV rapper will grace us with new tunes in the coming months.

You can rock out to the trio’s new song in the video above.

Lil Baby, Lil Durk, And Travis Scott Salute Anyone Keeping It Real On ‘Hats Off’

For the past few months, hip-hop fans have been patiently waiting for the arrival of Lil Baby and Lil Durk’s joint project, Voice Of The Heroes. It’s an effort that the duo began teasing back in February and now, nearly four months later, the album is finally in the hands of listeners. Its 18 songs are currently being enjoyed by supporters all over the world, and from the looks of it, the duo’s collaboration with Travis Scott is getting the most votes for an early favorite from the album.

The motivational track sees Durk and Baby tipping their hats to those who kept it real and stayed loyal around them. Travis takes the anchor position and closes out the track with vague anecdotes about those in his past who never did him wrong. Lil Baby also offers a brief explanation for the album’s title on the track, rapping, “Durk the voice ’cause he know just what to say / I’m the hero, I come through, save the day.”

Along with Travis, listeners can expect appearances from Meek Mill, Young Thug, and Rod Wave on the Voice Of The Heroes. The project was initially set to arrive on May 28, but Durk and Baby opted to push it back a week out of respect for DMX as his posthumous album, Exodus arrived on that day.

You can listen to “Hats Off” here.

Voice Of The Heroes is out now via Quality Control Music/Wolfpack Global Music/Motown Records/Alamo Records. Get it here.
