Young Thug Trial: Judge Reads “Slime Sh*t” Lyrics In Court
We’re days away from Young Thug facing a judge in the YSL RICO case. However, the jury selection process began this week. Throughout the past few days, there have been some interesting updates regarding those who’ve copped pleas and others who didn’t.
We all know that the rapper’s lyrics will be used against him in court but today, the judge actually took the time to read out a few of Thugger’s bars. During today’s hearing, the judge recited Young Thug’s lyrics to “Slime Shit” in court. The judge didn’t read the entire song. Instead, he recited the bars that prosecutors might use to prove Thugger’s guilt to the jury. Some of the lyrics aren’t even rapped by Thug but by his collaborators, Lil Duke and Yak Gotti.

Young Thug was officially charged with eight out of the 65 counts originally listed in the indictment. Along with conspiracy to violate the RICO act and participation in a street criminal gang, the rapper faces charges relating to guns and drugs.
Thug is among the the 14 co-defendants that will face trial next week. The original indictment listed 28 individuals but in recent weeks, we’ve seen eight individuals, including Gunna, cop plea deals. Four defendants will be tried separately since they can’t find attorneys while authorities still haven’t arrested two individuals listed.

Tristan Thompson’s Mom Dead, Athlete & Khloé Kardashian Seen Jetting To Toronto
Once again, Khloé Kardashian is showing how much compassion she carries in her heart. After learning of the death of her co-parent’s mother, the reality starlet joined Tristan Thompson on a private jet to his homeland of Toronto, Canada where he can properly mourn and make arrangements for Andrea Thompson’s funeral.
TMZ broke the story on Thursday (January 5), revealing that the athlete’s parent was in the hospital. She apparently suffered a heart attack while at home. Upon arrival at the medical centre, experts made attempts to resuscitate the woman but ultimately failed.

Thompson left Los Angeles as soon as possible, sources tell the outlet. In an update on Friday (January 6) afternoon, Kardashian’s appearance became public knowledge. It’s been said that she’s joining her ex to comfort him in his time of need.
The mother of two was reportedly close to Andrea, and the NBA player shared no shortage of photos of his family matriarch with his children over the years. He shares two with Khloé, as well as a son with his ex, and another from an affair he had with Maralee Nichols.
Despite not being a couple for some time now, Kardashian and Thompson still spend holidays together for co-parenting purposes. Their united front during this difficult time proved his dedicated she is to supporting him through thick and thin, whether romance is involved or not.
At this time, further details regarding Andrea’s sudden death remain unknown. The Canadian baller hasn’t yet spoken out, though his previous posts dedicated to the late woman speak volumes.
On Mother’s Day a few years ago, he wrote, “One day isn’t enough to praise and lift you high. Every day is your day. Thank you for all the sacrifices you made for me and my brothers. I love you and I’m so lucky to have been chosen as your son. Not all superheroes wear capes.”

Prince Harry Says Shenseea’s Music Helped Him Through Dark Times
The world is getting an inside look at the Royal family thanks to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. In a brief excerpt from the book, Harry mentions going through dark times in his life. He says he has often been at odds with his family, and during one period, he found solace by listening to Shenseea.
“In the times I felt alone and separated from my family, I always took time to myself to sit back and listen to Shenseea,” he said. “Her lyrics resonated with me and got me through a lot.”
The British Royal didn’t detail which of the Dancehall-R&B singer’s tracks eased his troubled mind, but Shenseea gave her guess.
