André 3000 Had A Hilarious ‘Pause’ Moment While Discussing His Flute Holes On ‘Colbert’

For the most part, André 3000 has largely stayed out of the public eye since the end of Outkast. He resurfaced in a major way last year, though, with New Blue Sun, his first-ever solo album. He also just announced a tour in support of the project, an album consisting of lengthy, flute-driven instrumentals. André popped up on The Late Show last night, and while the conversation was mostly serious in tone, he did have one particularly funny moment.

Towards the end of the first segment, Stephen Colbert asked if André ever plays more than one flute at the same time. He said no and mentioned another flautist who does, declaring he hasn’t “gotten to that level.” Then, showing off the two-chambered flute he was holding, he continued, “I’m still trying to manage… like, I have two holes, you know, so it’s like…”

André noticed Colbert cracking a subtle smile at “I have two holes,” so he hit the host with, “Pause,” which got a big laugh from Colbert, the studio audience, and himself.

After the interview, André also delivered a ten-minute performance of “That Night In Hawaii When I Turned Into A Panther And Started Making These Low Register Purring Tones That I Couldn’t Control … Sh*t Was Wild.” Check out clips of the interview and performance above and below.

Kanye West & Bianca Censori Host Impromptu Paparazzi Photoshoot

Kanye West and Bianca Censori have become a power couple of sorts as of late. Overall, Censori and West’s relationship has been ongoing for over a year at this point. However, there have been some criticisms levied at West in regard to how he treats his new wife. Some feel like she is paraded around in some not-so-flattering ways. Furthermore, there were reports that her own family was concerned about the situation. Needless to say, not everyone is approving of what they have going on.

Having said that, the two still seem to be going strong. Amid reports that Ye is going to drop Vultures, Censori has been by Ye’s side every day. The two have been out in Los Angeles and have had numerous run-ins with the paparazzi. For instance, he was showing the paps how they should be filming him, just a few days ago. Now, according to TMZ, Kanye is inviting them into his studio. It is a far cry from his mentality of the past, in which he had a hostile relationship with photographers.

Nia Long Awarded Sole Physical Custody and $32,500 Per Month In Agreement With Ex Ime Udoka

nia

Actress Nia Long has reached an agreement in her custody battle with ex-partner Ime Udoka, following their separation amid a widely publicized cheating scandal. As per the latest court documents, Long has been granted sole physical custody of their 12-year-old son, Kez, along with a substantial monthly child support settlement.

ETonline reports that the court documents, which they obtained, outline the specifics of the custody and support agreement. Nia Long will receive $32,500 per month in child support from Ime Udoka. This figure, while notable, is about half of what the court initially indicated she might be entitled to, but was ultimately the amount mutually agreed upon by Long and Udoka.

In terms of custody, the agreement stipulates that Long will have sole physical custody of their son, accounting for 95 percent of the time. Meanwhile, Udoka, who is a professional basketball coach, has been allotted a “5 percent timeshare” with Kez. This arrangement acknowledges both Long’s and Udoka’s schedules, providing Udoka with reasonable visitation rights.

The court documents also state, “If the parties are unable to agree upon Udoka’s visitation with Kez, they shall consult and work together with Kez’s treating therapist to encourage the visits with Udoka, and the therapist will inform the parties of what is best for Kez.” .

Despite the arrangement for physical custody, Long and Udoka will still share joint legal custody of Kez. This means they will both have the right and responsibility to make decisions concerning their son’s health, education, and welfare. The documents elaborate, “Long and Udoka shall confer with each other before making such decisions and confirm their decisions in writing.” In cases of disagreement, Long will have the authority to make the final decision for Kez, provided she gives Udoka 24 hours’ advance written notice.

The resolution of this custody battle comes after a turbulent period for Nia Long and Ime Udoka, marked by the public unraveling of their relationship. The agreement reflects a commitment to prioritizing the best interests of their son, amidst the challenges of navigating co-parenting post-separation.

Benny The Butcher Drops Tracklist for ‘Everybody Can’t Go’

Benny The Butcher Releases New Video For "Bron"

Benny The Butcher’s latest album, Everybody Can’t Go, produced by Hit-Boy, is set to arrive next Friday. Ahead of the Def Jam debut release, Benny has revealed the tracklist.

The album will feature Lil Wayne, Snoop Dogg, Stove God Cooks, Armani Caesar, Jadakiss, Westside Gunn, Conway the Machine, and more.

You can see it below.

Benny The Butcher, the Grammy-Nominated and Emmy-Award-winning member of Buffalo’s acclaimed Griselda collective, unveils a new single and music video entitled “BRON” out via Def Jam Recordings. It brings us another step closer to the arrival of his highly anticipated new album, EVERYBODY CAN’T GO, on January 26, 2024.

The track’s soulful keyboard loop wraps around a thick beat as Benny lyrically muscles his way into the spotlight with a warning, “The Butcher coming!” He leans into a confident and charismatic cadence with bold bars. He affirms, “In my city, I’m King Kong,” and cleverly confides, “I can’t resist all this winning. It’s like me and success built a bond. The black-and-white visual finds him in a Hapeville, GA school gymnasium at 5am. Local basketball players hit the court, while he raps in the locker room and in the paint. It undeniably evokes the victorious spirit of his rhymes.

“BRON” furthers the momentum from his recent anthem “One Foot In” ft. Stove God Cooks, produced by HIT-BOY. Beyond racking up 441K Spotify streams and 524K YouTube views on the music video, the latter incited critical applause. Stereogum noted, Benny’s new single “One Foot In” is all about existing in the music business and the criminal underworld at the same time — a difficult proposition for anyone.” Clash professed,“‘One Foot In’ goes hard from the first note to last, and REVOLT highlighted how the track gives fans a vivid look into the Buffalo emcee’s dark past.” Brooklyn Vegan put it best, “Everyone’s in top form on this one. It’s gritty and gleaming all at once, with a hook you’ll be humming after one listen and verses from Benny and Stove God that find them going as hard as ever.”
