D4vd’s growth as an artist has been nothing short of incredible. The Darkroom signee is still just 18 years old and has a copius amount of hits already. His debut EP Petals to Thorns holds five of the 10 most popular song spots on his Spotify. The highest-streamed track from that tape, “Here With Me,” is over 900 million plays.

However, that still is not even close to his most played song. “Romantic Homicide” posseses that title with 68 million more listens. His alternative, rock, emo style has captivated so many fans, 24 million plus to be exact. Since 2021, d4vd has not put out a full-length record. Hopefully, that happens this year, especially after dropping two new tracks today.

Usher, Lil Jon & Ludacris To Perform “Yeah!” At The Super Bowl, Justin Bieber Could Also Join

Fans have been anxiously awaiting Usher’s Super Bowl Halftime Show since it was announced back in September. It’s already been confirmed that his headlining slot will run two minutes longer than usual, or 15 minutes in total. It goes without saying that supporters have been curious about what they can expect to see during the show, and luckily, Usher recently provided them with some exciting new details.

During a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight, Usher revealed that he’ll be performing a fan-favorite, and the longest-running No. 1 single of 2004, “Yeah!” As if that news wasn’t exciting enough, he also shared that his collaborators, Lil Jon and Ludacris, will be joining him for the performance.

“I would be a fool to not play ‘Yeah!’ let’s just start there,” he explained. “It would be foolish to make it all the way to Las Vegas, Jon is here, Luda’s here and not play ‘Yeah!’” At the time of writing, it’s unconfirmed whether or not they’ll also perform “Lovers & Friends.”

Ludacris and Lil Jon will certainly make the performance all the more explosive. They may not be the only ones joining the R&B icon onstage, however. A source recently chatted with TMZ and revealed that he’s also in talks with Justin Bieber about a possible appearance. Reportedly, the two of them have been in direct contact recently about the performance, though JB’s appearance is just a rumor for now.

O.J. Simpson Reportedly Diagnosed With Cancer

O.J. Simpson has reportedly been diagnosed with prostate cancer and is undergoing chemotherapy to combat it. However, the infamous former NFL player had publicly denied the reports and denies being in poor health. Furthermore, Simpson reportedly plans to host a large Super Bowl party in Las Vegas and laughed off the idea that he was in hospice care.

Despite this, it’s not the first time that reports of cancer have been attached to Simpson’s name. In 2023, Simpson posted a video in which he claimed to have “caught cancer” and was in remission. It is unclear if these new reports of a diagnosis are related to that previous report.

Born in 1947, OJ is a man of two tales. First is the story of a star athlete who helped redefine American football. A retired jersey at USC, two First Team All-Pac-8 honors, and a Heisman Trophy are the defining marks of his college career. The first overall pick in 1969, Simpson became the prototypical running back of his era. He had five 1000-yard rushing seasons in Buffalo, including a 2000-yard season in 1973, when he also won MVP. However, he would end his career in 1979 after two seasons with 49ers. He left football for the world of endorsements and acting, and became an even bigger star throughout the 1980s.

However, the 90s would bring with it the side of Simpson’s legacy. In 1994, Simpson’s ex-wife Nicole Brown was found stabbed to death alongside a friend at her home in Brentwood. Simpson became an immediate person of interest in the case due to his alleged history of abuse with Brown. However, he would be found not guilty of the murders in 1996 thanks to a legal team that included the father of Kim Kardashian. Despite this, Simpson would later be found liable in civil court and would go on to spend nine years in prison on an armed robbery charge.

Overnight, Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign hosted a listening party for their new album Vultures in Chicago. The party was streamed online but ended up plagued by many of the issues that have often followed West’s poorly planned last minute outings in the past. From the late start and the stream cutting out among other technical difficulties to the reception of the music played feeling pretty lukewarm from even the most diehard Kanye fans, it was a bit of a messy night.

Now Kanye is catching heat from Ozzy Osbourne, frontman of legendary metal band Black Sabbath. Many fans were hoping that the Vultures album would be released onto streaming following the listening party. When it ultimately didn’t drop fans sought out an explanation. One of the rumors going around was that they were having trouble clearing samples used on the album. While it’s not officially confirmed by West himself, Ozzy’s tweet certainly lends credence to that theory.

Another piece of Kanye West media that doesn’t appear to be coming out any time soon is his interview with Bill Maher. The HBO host claimed that he recorded an entire two hour interview with the controversial rapper recently. But he also confirmed that he decided not to air it, even in an edited down version. At least, that’s what she alleged on Thursday (February 8), as she recently blasted Moneybagg Yo for allegedly stealing her name for his Loaf Boyz label. For those unaware, he signed a new deal with 10K Projects, their first as a lone label following their exit from Warner Music Group. In fact, the Memphis rapper wanted to release a compilation to celebrate, yet he remains signed individually under Yo Gotti’s CMG imprint. It’s unclear if this caused a delay in the compilation, but regardless, Loaf wants them to recognize her input.

Originality at its finest.” Overall, even though this seems like just a case of coincidental similarities, it looks like it might develop into more direct beef.

Moreover, Moneybagg Yo’s Loaf Boyz affiliate ShotOff, also known as Fat Wizza, who took to the social media platform to launch some mocking responses. “This b***h say we took her s**t wit the loaf all my fans go spam this cancer patient looking ass b***h,” he said of DeJ Loaf. “If u [wanna] be #loafBoyz just say that tf h*e u is not relevant stop it. I can’t believe this B. Shawty ain’t been s**t since smurk left. We understand u tryna be relevant again baby just ask for a loaf contract we’ll still sign yo broke a**. Dej whoooooooo!! This Loaf S**t For the having, not the have nots, and she definitely a have not.”

Of course, these aren’t the most important allegations Moneybagg dealt with over the past few months. That might go to cheating accusations concerning his relationship with Ari Fletcher. The booking company has one of the worst reputations in all of music for their massive fees added onto concert tickets and their poor handling of one major drop after another. That was notoriously the case last year when Taylor Swift’s eras tour used a complicated tiered system for dropping tickets that went very poorly. It famously even ended with legislation being considered in congress over the ticket selling company.

Now they’ve added a new incident to their rap sheet. That incident is their handling of Usher’s new tour. The R&B legend is having a big weekend to jumpstart a big 2024. He just released his new album Coming Home, his first new solo project since 2016 and his first new album of any kind since 2018. In just a few days he’ll be taking one of the largest stages in all of music when he performs at the Super Bowl Halftime Show. His highly anticipated performance is expected to have some notable guests and nonstop hits. He’s also taking his new album on tour later this year. But as tickets dropped earlier today, fans once again found themselves in a Ticketmaster mess.

Newton said he trusted Purdy on a game-winning Super Bowl drive because he trusted Purdy’s resources. However, many people questioned what “right” Newton, who hasn’t played since 2021, had to make that call given what he had achieved in his own career.

Meanwhile, Newton’s ambition of potentially returning to the NFL got a reality check in the form of Shannon Sharpe. Sharpe used an audience Q&A for the 4th And 1 podcast to reveal how he feels about Newton, who was joining him on the show, wanting to be back in the NFL. Shannon’s point boiled down to one key factor – is Newton ready to sacrifice everything to back into the NFL? “You gotta train like Auburn Cam, when you didn’t have a cent.
