“Vultures 1”: All Features & Production Credits

Vultures 1, the first album in a trilogy of releases from Kanye West & Ty Dolla $ign, is finally out. Along with it comes a whole host of features across the 16 tracks, with more expected across the upcoming releases. The first feature of Vultures 1 is India Love on “Keys To My Life”. Two songs later, Kanye is joined by his daughter North West for “Talking/Once Again”. That is followed by an appearance from Freddie Gibbs on “Back To Me”. Tracks 7 and 8 are another pair of back-to-back features, with Nipsey Hussle & YG appearing on “Do It” and Quavo featuring on “Paperwork”. The final four features can be found between tracks 10 and 13. There are two appearances by Playboi Carti – “Fuk Sum” (also featuring Travis Scott) and “Carnival” (also featuring Rich The Kid). Meanwhile, Chris Brown adds his vocals to “Beg Forgiveness”. Finally, there is the album’s namesake, which features Lil Durk & Bump J.

Meanwhile, the album also features a whole host of producers. with Genius listing 40 in total. Big names include JPEGMAFIA, London On Da Track, Timbaland, and Wheezy. Another veteran presence is Ambezza, a multi-platinum producer who produced “Life Is Good” from Future & Drake. There are also 51 writers on Vultures 1.

Rich The Kid Calls Kanye “The GOAT”

Elsewhere, Rich the Kid has declared Kanye “the GOAT” during a sidewalk interview with Baller Alert. “He is the GOAT, no debate,” Rich said. It’s a fitting declaration given, as mentioned, Rich collabed with Kanye and Playboi Carti for “Carnival”, which appears on the now-released Vultures I. “Carnival” also caused some pre-release controversy as Ozzy Osbourne claimed that the song contained an uncleared Black Sabbath sample.

Furthermore, the impromptu interview also saw Rich reveal that he is planning to drop a massive bet on the Super Bowl. Rich said he was going to place a $1 million bet on Sunday’s game. The Chiefs and 49ers face off in Vegas in a rematch of the 2020 Super Bowl. An estimated $23.1 billion has been bet on the matchup. That eclipses the estimated $16B put down on bets for last year’s game between the Chiefs and Eagles. However, Rich refused to say which team he was putting his money on. Born and raised in Queens, it’s hard to say which team Rich will be backing.

Ak went on to question how Carti’s ex Iggy Azalea would feel about the fit, and he wasn’t the only one. The newly-retired femcee recently unveiled a sultry thirst trap on Instagram, posing in some skimpy lingerie in a bathroom mirror. Fans couldn’t help but point out the similarities in her and her ex’s outfits, forcing her to fire back.

Moreover, she reportedly scared off two men in hoodies who climbed up to her balcony to attempt to break into her home. When they saw that the actress was home a little before 8PM, her presence and her acknowledgement of the men made them run away. Then, police arrived at the scene, and the culprits had already sped off and could not be found while officials responded to the incident. It’s unclear whether this was a targeted attack against Will Smith’s partner or just a couple of guys trying to hit some nice homes in Los Angeles.

Furthermore, deputies apparently opened an attempted burglary report, and launched an investigation into Jada Pinkett Smith’s case. However, one aspect of this brush with danger that folks asked questions about is whether Will Smith was there. Cops don’t believe he was (although they can’t confirm for sure), and social media users took this as a chance to re-open the conversation around their relationship dynamic. Over a crisp drum break and ethereal vocal samples, the Indiana MC flows wildly over it, displaying why he’s one of the best spitters in the game right now. Say what you will about Ye, his collaborators, and the ugly parts of this rollout, release, and platform, but talking strictly about the music, the effort here is undeniable.

What’s more is that fans on social media are really excited about finally getting this feature on Vultures after so long. “Freddie Gibbs deserves a lifetime supply of YZY products after giving a verse like that wtf,” one user expressed. “Freddie Gibbs took off on this Ye Album. This is ironic because Peggy provided production on a couple of tracks on the new album, and all of them are stellar additions. At least this beef didn’t result in either artist delivering mediocre performances or contributions.

The latest obsession of the BeyHive is a theory that Beyonce is preparing to do a country album. Like the best conspiracy theories, fans have seemingly pulled this idea out of the most tenuous crumbs. First, there is Beyonce’s “country-inspired” Grammys outfit. This included a chequered duster and bright white Stetson. Then there is the fact that Beyonce’s website lists Renaissance as officially Act 1 – Renaissance. This has reignited the idea that Renaissance is meant to be the first part of a trilogy. This means there is allegedly two more albums of new music from Beyonce. Finally, there is a line that has resurfaced from her 2019 song “Black Parade. To many fans, the line “I’m going back to the South, where my roots ain’t watered down” is an indication that Beyonce is “going country” (just look at them boots).

However, there have been previous rumors about the contents of Renaissance’s second and third acts. A now-deleted tweet from Kyle Buchanan at the New York Times appeared to indicate that “Act 2” would be an acoustic album while “Act 3” would be a fully collaborative album with JAY-Z. However, neither claim was addressed by the singer’s camp. For the time being, fans will have to wait and see if Beyonce does indeed go the Lana Del Rey route and drop a surprise country album.

Fans were absolutely gagging for the full footage to be released. As such, take all of this with a grain of salt, as there’s no legit confirmation, but it would be amazing to see.

Furthermore, the two have a very strong collaborative and personal bond, as evidenced by their multiple hits together. Sure, their collaboration ruffled some feathers in the artistic world, particularly Kanye West’s if the rumors behind that backstory and conflict are true. But you can’t deny that there’s so much audience and aesthetic overlap here that it seems like a no-brainer. To be fair, both Drake and Travis Scott are huge enough that a joint tour with any other artist would still be a massive draw.
