Everyone’s got something to say about Katt Williams having so much to say about so many celebrities on Shannon Sharpe’s Club Shay Shay show. So much so, in fact, that many of these folks, whether he mentioned them or not, still decided to jump in and talk about how they’ve enjoyed this sling of takes from him. Moreover, one of these is Tommie Lee, who suggested that the comedian should go on a tour now that there’s a lot of new attention and drama surrounding him. “[It’s] very RAW if Katt made ah tour for everybody he just talked about…” she wrote on her Instagram Story around Thursday (January 4). “We need some comedy back in our lives… And it’ll dismiss that old Kevin Hart video J/S [shrugging emoji] but what do I know I’m just ~Tommie.”

Furthermore, we’ll see if Katt Williams responds to these demands or if he’s just going to let social media do its thing. For those unaware, he blasted Cedric The Entertainer and other comedians, spoke on the Megan Thee Stallion and Tory Lanez case, gave his thoughts on the Kanye West situation, and chastised Diddy for his sexual assault accusations. As for Tommie Lee, she didn’t catch any smoke, and hopefully that stays the same if the Cincinnati, Ohio native finds out she’s a fan. After all, we know that she has a lot of struggles in her life that don’t warrant the microscopic jabs of a media figure.

Tommie Lee’s Idea For Katt Williams

However, not everyone is pleased with Katt Williams’ statements. Trick Daddy recently fired shots at him for putting other Black people down. “Listen, man, stop talking about other n***as to be relevant in the game and trend,” he expressed. “‘Cause you was trending today, and I’ma be trending tomorrow on your b***h a**. And I’m with whatever you with, n***a. And every n***a, every comedian, everybody who you told a story [about] got more money than me and you. You on my level, b***h a** n***a. Ha-ha! The joke on you, p***y a** n***a. You ain’t funny, you a f***ing joke. Stop making fun of other n***as. Black folk, we have to stop belittling our brothers and sisters to get a platform. To get shares, to get likes, to get views, to trend. We have to stop!”

Giannis Antetokounmpo He Can’t Stop Thinking About Losing To The Pacers, Even During Sex

Giannis Antetokounmpo made some hilarious comments after he was asked how he felt about 40% of the Bucks’ losses this season coming against the Pacers. “You think about it. When you go home and sleep and wake up, you think about it. When you go back and work out, you think about it….When you’re about to get freaky at night, you think about it,” Giannis said. Giannis and longtime partner Mariah Riddlespringer, who have three children together, revealed they were engaged in September 2023.

The Pacers have beaten the Bucks four times this season, including in back-to-back games on January 1 and January 3. However, the Bucks, whose one win against Indiana devolved into a post-game brawl, will not have any chance for revenge until the playoffs. There are no more scheduled games between the two teams for the rest of the season. Furthermore, at the time of writing, the Bucks are the second seed while the Pacers are the fifth seed.

Giannis Leads Early All-Star Voting

Meanwhile, Giannis was the overall top vote-getter in early returns for All-Star Voting. LeBron James and Giannis have both surpassed two million votes in the first round of public all-star voting. Meanwhile – Kevin Durant, Nikola Jokic, Luka Doncic, Steph Curry, Joel Embiid, Jayson Tatum, and Tyrese Haliburton all broke the one million vote mark. Next month’s game, which will be held in Indianapolis, will also return to the old East v West matchup format. The return to the traditional method of team selection replaces the recently used Captain’s Draft method. Giannis and LeBron were both captains last year, with Giannis’ team winning a high-scoring game in Salt Lake City.

Additionally, if selected, LeBron will become the NBA’s all-time All-Star leader with 20 selections. He is currently tied for 19 selections with Kareem Abdul-Jabbar. James Harden, who started the season benched by the Sixers, is currently in fourth place in Western Conference backcourt voting. Last month, Nicki Minaj released her highly-anticipated 5th studio album Pink Friday 2. It was her first new album in 5 years dating back to 2018’s Queen. The project is a feature-packed affair with appearances from major artists like Lil Wayne, Future, and Lil Uzi Vert. Another artist that provides a major contribution to the album is J. Cole. He appears for a memorable feature on the track “Let Me Calm Down” but that isn’t the only contribution he made to the project.

During a recent interview on Apple Music 1, Nicki revealed some behind-the-scenes details about Cole’s contributions. “After I played him that song, I played him ‘FTCU.’ I was like, ‘Yo, I don’t like playing my music, but I’ll let you hear another song.’ So I played him that. And when that second verse came in, his reaction is why that song is so high. She also revealed that the song almost went to Drake for his album For All The Dogs. “Because Drake had originally loved that song. While he was working on his album, he was thinking about if that could fit for his album as well. Because I sent it to him when I did it, because I loved the beat. You may actually be surprised, although the title of this article did give it away. Yes, Destroy Lonely, Quavo, and NLE Choppa were all in the studio together recently. These are three artists with different styles, so we can only imagine what a collaboration would sound like.

They’ve also been excellent whiskeys. This week, Buffalo Trace and Stapleton took their partnership to the next level and (finally) released a new whiskey brand — Traveller Whiskey.

There’s a lot to get into here. First, almost anything new from Buffalo Trace — which also makes iconic labels like Pappy Van Winkle, Weller, Eagle Rare, Blanton’s, and so many more — creates rabid excitement amongst whiskey fans. Second, Stapleton has the perfect level of cool that appeals to everyday music lovers and whiskey drinkers. So this collaboration leaned into exactly that with an American Blended Whiskey at a great price point.

Long story short, Buffalo Trace Master Distiller Harlen Wheatley and Stapleton tasted through 50 different blends before landing on the perfect one for Traveller Whiskey. The best part, this bottle only costs $39. And so far, that price is holding at retail. That’s kind of exciting from a distillery that historically drops whiskey that can cost hundreds of times more than their suggested retail.

This new whiskey from Buffalo Trace is the summation of years of collaboration between Country icon Chris Stapleton and Master Distiller Harlen Wheatley. After testing 50 different blends, this is the one that landed. The whiskey in the bottle is a special blend of Buffalo Trace rye and bourbons that hit just the right note for Stapleton’s whiskey palate.

Tasting Notes:

Nose: The nose leans into rich Buffalo Trace bourbon with a deep vanilla buttercream over soft spiced brandied cherries just kissed with dark chocolate and old oak staves with a whisper of salted caramel.

Palate: That caramel has a hint of sweet corn to it on the palate before the vanilla rushes back in with a creamy lusciousness and layers of winter spices, orchard barks, and musty barrel houses — classic Buffalo Trace.

Finish: The end warms nicely for a moment with plenty of woody winter spice and a touch of grassy rye notes before the lush vanilla, cherry, and oak finish lingers for just the right amount of time.

Bottom Line:

This is a solid new utility whiskey. It works well as a sipper over some rocks or in a cocktail. Think of it as a solid table whiskey to have around for everyday pours after a hard day of work.

DubG3, is making waves in hip-hop with his talent and passion. In an exclusive interview with SOHH, the 12-year-old rapper and protege opens up about his journey and unique perspective on the rap industry.

Meet DUBG3

At the age of 10, DubG3 started his rap journey in his hometown of Forth Worth, Texas. 

Influenced by his father’s musical pursuits, he asked for the opportunity to make a rap song. After recording one verse, his father sent it to Tony Draper, founder of Suave Records in Houston, TX, marking the beginning of DubG3’s journey into the rap world.

‘Age Appropriate’

Mike Jones, a Houston rap icon and mentor to DubG3, shares why he cosigned the young prodigy. He cites DubG3’s family lineage in the music industry, his association with Tony Draper, his undeniable talent, and the “life” surrounding him as reasons for his support. 

The two even collaborated on a track called “King,” showcasing DubG3’s impeccable flow and skills.

DubG3’s Age Appropriate Movement which he described as the idea of where kids have music to listen to for their age. He recognizes the lack of “age-appropriate” music for his generation and aims to provide kids with music they can relate to. He stated, 

“We have to listen to grown men and women rap, and I feel like I can make a change by doing the Age Appropiate Movement, where we can all have something to listen to,” championing the idea that children can have their own music that reflects their experiences.

Sports x Rap

In contrast to some younger artists who rap about violence, DubG3 focuses on creating relatable content for his peers. His goal is to ensure that kids his age have music that speaks to their experiences and resonates with them.

As the Fort Worth native excels in rap, he also dabbles in sports. When asked if he had to choose between rap and football, DubG3 confidently states:

“I feel like I don’t have to give up one to do the other, because I feel like right now I’m at a stage where as long as I focus on what I’m doing, I could do anything that I put my mind to.”

With more projects in the works, DubG3 is set to make an impact in 2024. He plans to release a new single in the coming months and spend more time in the studio. His dedication and passion for his rap career is inevitable, as he states:

 “I really want to take this as far as I can.”
