50 Cent’s Iconic “Candy Shop” Video Hits Impressive New Milestone

50 Cent has certainly seen no shortage of success this year, and this week was no exception. According to Billboard, the rapper reached an impressive new milestone on YouTube. His iconic “Candy Shop” music video featuring Olivia hit a whopping 1 billion views. The track, which appears on his 2005 album The Massacre, joins his 2003 Get Rich or Die Tryin’ hit “In Da Club.”

“Candy Shop” spent nine weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 following its release. It was his third No. 1 single in two years following “In Da Club” and “21 Questions” featuring Nate Dogg. The raunchy accompanying music video features cameos from Lil Scrappy, Young Buck, and Lloyd Banks. The milestone comes just a few weeks after Fif announced his Las Vegas residency, which is scheduled to begin next month.

My first Vegas residency is going to be an experience, you don’t wanna miss this! I’ll be doing 6 Exclusive shows December 27 – January 4 at PH Live at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino. Tickets on sale Saturday 🔥,” the hitmaker announced in October. Reportedly, there will also be a special New Year’s Eve celebration presented by Sire Spirits.

As for whether or not fans can expect 50 to drop more hits like “Candy Shop” any time soon, that remains unclear. During a chat with Earn Your Leisure at Invest Fest, he explained why he rarely releases new music. “If you listen to the music that’s out right now, I have to tap into my st*pid,” he said. “I have to tap into the st*pid side of me to write the right thing when it comes time to write the music.” He continued, arguing that he could make a bigger impact with his other endeavors. Cardi B Issues A Warning To Armon Wiggins

In a now-deleted X (formerly Twitter) Spaces rant, Cardi B warned YouTuber Armon Wiggins to stop disrespecting her. Wiggins, whose channel has over 200,000 subscribers, specializes in drama, primarily in the women’s hip-hop space. Cardi’s rant came after Wiggins called her “fake” and “phony” for endorsing presidential hopeful and sitting Vice President Kamala Harris. Cardi viewed this as the last straw for Wiggins, who she feels has repeatedly antagonized her on social media, even after multiple private conversations regarding her issues with his coverage.

“I’m not gonna keep letting somebody think that they can disrespect me, they can bully me and they can keep trying me,” Cardi B said. “Especially when I have conversations with them, when I have conversations with them as an adult. ‘Cause if you don’t respect me being a f***ing adult, that means I gotta motherf***ing treat you how I motherf***ing treat people in the motherf***ing streets. And that is a motherf***ing fact.”

Cardi B Tears Into YouTuber Armon Wiggins

“You not gonna keep f***ing playing with me,” Cardi B continued. “And that s**t is coming from me. Not nobody else but from f***ing me. And I’m letting you know. And I’m not doing no f***ing me Twitter s**t. I’m not arguing with nobody. I’m not piping nobody up. Stop f***ing me playing with me! Leave me the f**k alone! ‘Cause I promise you, on my kids, every time you go out, people tell me where you at. At that time too! But I don’t be giving a f###. Don’t let me get there! ‘Cause you keep f***ing me playing with me … Stop f***ing playing with me! ‘Cause I be sparing n****s. Not sparing n****s on the argument s**t, sparing n****s in real life.” She also referenced her gang ties, telling Wiggins to “stop playing with the Brim.”

Armon Wiggins apologized to Cardi B shortly after in a post to X. “I don’t want no problems y’all got it,” Wiggins said. “We gone get it without being attached to a controversial headline.. as a MAN @iamcardib if you feel like I ever used derogatory words towards you I apologize.. I don’t wanna fight girl I’m off it.” Cardi B’s endorsement of Vice President Harris is not a surprising development. In 2019, she publicly supported Vermont senator Bernie Sanders in his campaign for the presidency, before endorsing Joe Biden after he officially became the Democratic Party’s nominee for president ahead of the 2020 election. When asked about her political affiliation in a May interview with Rolling Stone, she condemned both Biden and Harris for funding Israel’s acts of violence against Palestine. It seems that her stance has softened enough to endorse Harris ahead of her scheduled appearance at her Milwaukee campaign rally on Friday.

NLE Choppa Shares A Downright Over The Top Trailer For Upcoming Comedy Film

NLE Choppa has caught some heat for some of his actions online. It relates to his music as well, especially as of late due to how overtly sexual he has portrayed himself to be. Overall, the young rapper is not everyone’s cup of tea, but he doesn’t seem to be pandering to anyone. He’s going to make career choices that he wants to make and he’s not going to conform to other’s expectations. NLE Choppa is taking risks like with his SLUT SZN merchandise, for example. Instead of just selling apparel, he’s turning into a fully fleshed out brand by promoting it an upcoming film.

The Memphis MC is dipping his toes into the world of filmmaking and acting by producing The Wash. It’s going to be out on YouTube exclusively October 30 and features a whole bunch of cameos. Fellow rappers such as collaborators Lil Wayne and Ray Vaughn make appearances in this comedy picture about Choppa opening and trying to run a successful car wash business. Overall, it looks to be a raunchy and over the top movie, but true to Choppa’s brand. The film is also being produced by an independent entertainment company by the name of VisionBank Films. As for the story and script, it’s conjured up by NLE and BenMarc, who’s shot music videos and a Nightmare on Cottonwood short film for the rapper in the past. Fans seem to be down for it for the most part and look forward to what he has to offer up in his debut movie.

What are your thoughts on NLE Choppa’s trailer for his upcoming debut film, The Wash? Do you think this will be a respectable first effort? Are you going to tune in? Kendrick Lamar, Burna Boy, Adele, And More Artists’ Music Blocked By YouTube Amid SESAC Dispute

Kendrick Lamar is among several artists who have had some of their music blocked on YouTube amid the company’s legal dispute with the performing rights organization SESAC. Other artists affected by the situation include Adele, Burna Boy, Mariah Carey, Bob Dylan, Green Day, Nirvana and R.E.M, among many others. Adele’s “Hello” and “Someone Like You,” as well as R.E.M.’s “Losing My Religion,” are all unavailable.

In a statement to Billboard, a YouTube spokesperson said: “We have held good faith negotiations with SESAC to renew our existing deal. Unfortunately, despite our best efforts, we were unable to reach an equitable agreement before its expiration. We take copyright very seriously and as a result, content represented by SESAC is no longer available on YouTube in the US. We are in active conversations with SESAC and are hoping to reach a new deal as soon as possible.”

Additionally, The Hollywood Reporter noted that the TeamYouTube X (formerly Twitter) account has been posting the following message for fans having trouble accessing the songs: “Our music license agreement with SESAC has expired without an agreement on renewal conditions despite our best efforts. For this reason, we have blocked content on YouTube in the US known to be associated with SESAC – as in line with copyright law … We understand this is a difficult situation and our teams continue to work on reaching a renewal agreement.”

The SESAC drama comes after Universal Music Group and TikTok endured a similar dispute, earlier this year, that left many popular songs off of the social media platform. It appears that Kendrick Lamar’s latest single, “Not Like Us,” is unaffected by the dispute. Be on the lookout for further updates on Kendrick Lamar and YouTube on HotNewHipHop.

Kanye West’s Offensive Interview Gets Candace Owens’ YouTube Channel Suspended

Last month, Candace Owens dropped her full-length interview with Kanye West, which has resulted in her YouTube channel taking some serious hits. Earlier this week, the conservative commentator took to X to announce that she wouldn’t be posting on YouTube for now. According to her, she’s been demonetized and suspended from the platform. This is due to her interview with Ye, and particilarly his antisemitic remarks.

“They also removed the interview as ‘hate speech,’ as it was mass reported by Zionists. Their tactics never change,” she wrote. Owens then went on to suggest that she was targeted. She also theorized that her Ye interview was under scrutiny due to her recent debate with Rabbi Shmuley Boteach on Piers Morgan’s show.

Candace Owens’ YouTube Channel Takes Hit For Violating Hate Speech Policy

“The world knows why I am being targeted and frankly, I have never felt more confident that I am the right person for this to happen,” she claimed. “Thus far, I have had zero strikes on my @YouTubeCreators account… I have now been inundated with 3 back to back content hits within minutes, plus an email that I am now fully demonetized. We all know exactly who is behind this and why.” YouTube later went on to confirm Owens’ channel suspension in a statement to The New York Post.

“We’ve suspended channels associated with Candace Owens from the YouTube Partner Program following repeated violations of our policies, including our Advertiser-Friendly Guidelines and Community Guidelines,” spokesperson Jack Malon explained. Malon added that Owens frequently violates YouTube’s policies on her channels and that she can reapply for access in 90 days. What do you think of Candace Owens’ YouTube channel getting suspended over her interview with Kanye West? What about him violating the platform’s hate speech policy? Are you surprised by this or not? Kim Kardashian Unveils Son Saint West’s “Extensive” YouTube Contract

Social media gives fans around the world the opportunity to feel closer than ever to their favorite celebrities. While this certainly has the potential to be a positive thing, it can also go very wrong. For this reason, it’s no surprise that Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s children have some pretty strict guidelines to follow when it comes to their online presence.

Recently, for example, Kim revealed that she allowed her 8-year-old son Saint to create a YouTube channel. In order to do so, however, she had him sign a lengthy contract. “Saint signed a solid contract for this YouTube channel,” the SKIMS founder wrote on her Instagram Story this week. “He better not breach [winking emoji].”

Kim Kardashian Has Saint Agree Not To Share Personal Family Information

Per the contract, Saint is not allowed to share any personal family information, can’t film while his sister North is recording music, or post content without getting it approved by an adult first. This appears to be a pretty simple and healthy set of rules, and hopefully, Saint will be able to stick to it without any issues. Instagram users in the Hollywood Unlocked comments section agree that this was a good way to teach the child about protecting his and his family members’ privacy on the internet. While this is particularly pertinent in his case, fans note that it’s important for all kids who are growing up with access to social media.

“I love this!!!” one commenter says. “This is really cute,” another writes. What do you think of Kim Kardashian having Saint West sign a contract before launching his YouTube channel? Are you surprised or not? Do you think this is a good way to teach him about protecting his privacy online? Controversial YouTuber Boogie2988 Accused Of Faking Cancer Diagnosis

If you are someone who spent a lot of time on YouTube back in the day, you may remember the content creator Boogie2988. Overall, he is known for his commentary on video games and YouTube drama. Moreover, he is famous for his Francis character which was known for having temper tantrums over innocuous things. However, in recent years, Boogie has been through many controversies. From losing all of his money in crypto to dating women decades younger than him, it hasn’t been a fun ride.

Last night, Boogie2988 was on his show “Lolcow Live” when content creator Destiny joined the stream. During this call, Destiny accused Boogie of faking a cancer diagnosis two years ago. Destiny alleges that Boogie was never officially diagnosed and that he did it for sympathy and even donations. Boogie took offense to this, and it subsequently led to a whole debate. Today, Drama Alert founder Keemstar took to Twitter to explain the entire situation.

Boogie2988 Under Fire

“To the best of my knowledge based on everything I know. Boogie went on steroids that could cause cancer in the blood years ago and was warned of the dangers. 2 years ago after he lost all his money in crypto,” Keemstar began. “He went to the doctor and had high red blood cells indicating he may have cancer blood. Before he got any confirmation he rushed to make a YouTube video announcing he had cancer. 2 years later he still doesn’t have confirmation he has cancer but he been telling everyone he does and used it for sympathy multiple times. Whether it was promoting his crypto scam or asking people to financially support him lying about the cancer could be considered fraud.”

Let us know what you think about all of this, in the comments section down below. Do you believe that Boogie2988 did, in fact, fake his cancer diagnosis?
