Chloe Bailey never hesitates to flaunt her figure on social media, but recently, the 26-year-old accidentally showed off more than she bargained for. Earlier this week, the songstress gave her supporters a look at a bright red corset dress she rocked for GLAMOUR’S 2024 Women of the Year Awards on TikTok Live. She highlighted the back of the dress before turning around and accidentally exposing her breasts.

Bailey looked shocked and ultimately sat down to ask fans not to share any screengrabs of her wardrobe malfunction. Unfortunately, however, clips of the mishap quickly began to make their rounds online. Either way, it doesn’t look like Bailey has let the debacle get her down. At the aforementioned awards show, she was named Musician Of The Year.

She shared a series of jaw-dropping photos from the evening yesterday, also writing a heartfelt caption about the honor. “i felt like a babydoll tonight thank you @glamouruk for naming me Woman of the Year’s Musician of the Year i am incredibly honored and filled with such gratitude !! thank you to @therealeve for presenting this award to me and always inspiring me. going to bed with the sweetest smile on my face!!!!!” she wrote. In a conversation with Glamour, published earlier this week, she also opened up about how she deals with criticism. According to her, she simply opts to shut it out.

“Sometimes I will take certain socials off of my phone,” she told the outlet. “You know, I think we all need a break sometimes. Or I will just choose to ignore it. In a British Vogue video shared yesterday (September 12), Jackson talks about some of her most iconic fashion choices from over the years. When she get to one look, she explained:

“Funny story about this outfit: I was performing for the Queen of England, and we were doing Rhythm Nation. Sure enough, as soon as I squatted, my pants split right in my booty crack. I couldn’t believe it happened. I thought, ‘Oh my god.’ And then I started feeling air back there, so I knew it had really happened [laughs]. And the whole time, it was fine until, no, you’re going to perform for the Queen of England. So I never turned my back to her, which, some of the choreography, I was supposed to. I just faced forward.”

GloRilla was one of plenty of stars who hit the MTV Video Music Awards stage on Wednesday (September 11), and did so explosively. Moreover, she performed her two big 2024 hits, those being “Yeah Glo!” and “TGIF.” It was overall a pretty satisfying and fun performance, but the swift wardrobe change in between songs was sadly imperfect. A couple of minutes into the “TGIF” rendition, the “Mama” femcee’s bra strap seemed to come apart, and she had to hold onto it with one hand while rapping into the mic in the order so that she wouldn’t expose herself. That wasn’t part of the rehearsals…

Still, GloRilla kept her composure and performed throughout the song without missing a beat. The only thing that made an issue noticeable was the visual aspect of seeing her hold onto herself. Eventually, once the Memphis native was back and standing on the main stage, a backup dancer noticed the issue and fixed the issue so that she could perform normally to close the medley out. It was a pretty smooth and easily manageable malfunction, so props to her and her team for being so graceful with it. Her frequent collaborator Megan Thee Stallion also had some killer performances as well as a hosting gig, and it seems like we might get a full joint album from them in the near future.

The malfunction occurs at around the 2:30-minute mark.

Elsewhere, though, GloRilla recently reflected on how social media meanies can motivate you as much as they can irritate you. It just depends on which side of yourself you let win. “I remember bookmarking dis & telling myself ‘Dey gotchu f***ed up so bad,’” she quote-tweeted a post that read “Glorilla fell off so fast and bad” along with crying emojis. “Dis post ain’t do s**t but put a battery in my back i needed data don’t let dese people write yo story for you , Keep going !!!”

Meanwhile, we might see another side to GloRilla’s artistry develop further these days. She recently showed off her singing skills on a new Muni Long collab, which many fans weren’t expecting. It’s not perfect (just like anything else), but it could definitely lead to more dynamic performances in the future. Let’s hope that these don’t run into the same wardrobe malfunctions, although it’s good to know that these are no problem at all for Big Glo to handle.

Lil Kim Has Revealing Wardrobe Malfunction During Massive Hip-Hop 50 Show

Some of hip-hop’s stars from every era gathered at Yankee Stadium in New York City to celebrate the genre’s 50th birthday to massive success on Friday (August 11). However, not everything about the show went perfectly for everyone, but then again, it’s a small hiccup in a much larger astonishment. Moreover, Lil Kim unfortunately suffered a wardrobe malfunction (more specifically, a nip slip) during her time on stage. She wore a shiny crop top and shorts with a jacket over herself, and at one point, the mesh gave out and revealed some extra, unintended skin. Still, the legendary femcee shrugged it off and continued to excel in her performance regardless of the mishap.

Furthermore, it was one of many amazing performances that night, joined by hip-hop legends from every corner. For example, Run-DMC gave what is apparently their final performance ever as a group, closing their indelible chapter in rap with the most meaningful bow possible. Among other rappers who performed were Snoop Dogg, T.I., Lil Wayne, Ashanti, Fat Joe, Common, the legendary duo EPMD, and many more. With all those titans in mind, Lil Kim’s malfunction is but a small and glossed-over piece in the puzzle.

For far too long, the media has sensationalized incidents like these and placed blame on the victim of it. Regardless, it’s only as negative as you make it, and it’s clear that Lil Kim took everything in stride and would not let that define or hinder her performance. In addition, that was far from the most notable or important surprise of the night, as special guests joined the artists that were already on the roster. For example, hip-hop’s godfather DJ Kool Herc was in attendance, and The Fugees and Lauryn Hill put on a surprise set with Nas.

All in all, the show was over six hours long, and it would be a disservice to try to sum up everything great about it. We would leave out so many important contributors to the genre, so don’t let a simple piece of clothing distract you from the magic that took place here. Also, the ceremony honored many rappers who lost their lives over the years, making this as poignant and powerful as it was fun and fabulous. The latter brand is whose presentation she attended on Monday (July 3), upstaging everyone in the vicinity with her gorgeous black and gold gown.

The 30-year-old’s cosmetically enhanced body was shaped into a perfect hourglass thanks to a corset back on her dress. The same feature also created ample cleavage rising up from the chest area, which stylist Kollin Carter had to help her adjust to avoid a wardrobe malfunction, Daily Mail reports. Cardi came to the Schiaparelli show hidden beneath a large black jacket. Upon removing that our eyes were immediately drawn to her slim waist and creative gold accessories.
