Mase Tells A Story About Being Scammed By A Former Business Manager

Mase has been involved in his fair share of behind the scenes rap drama. Most of it came from his affiliation with Bad Boys Records. During a recent episode of It Is What It Is he opened up about being scammed by a manager who worked for him earlier in his career. He doesn’t name who specifically the manager in question is but does reveal that it came after he signed to Diddy’s Bad Boys Records.

“I remember when I first got a deal with Bad Boy Records, I think it was my first business manager, he ran off not just with my money, he ran off with everybody’s money. So, we ain’t have no money to pay taxes,” his story begins. “This n*gga ran off with everybody’s money. We couldn’t find him … I don’t want to say nobody’s name, but it was a few rappers. More than a handful.” He elaborates that he recruited Cam’Ron and some other rappers to confront the manager for running off with their money. Kanye West is back in Europe this week. He traveled around the continent last summer with his wife Bianca Censori where he got in trouble numerous times. The pair are have returned to Italy this week primarily for two listening parties for West and Ty Dolla $ign’s new album VULTURES 1. But while there, the pair hit up a fashion show in Milan. Much of the attention was first directed at Censori’s characteristically scant outfit. But now, a video of West being interviewed during the event is making the rounds online.

As he does in almost every interview nowadays, West says some bizarre things. It starts out when he introduces himself, which includes an off-handed claim that he’s from Mars. He then gives a tour of his entire fit which is head to toe with notable pieces. The final 30 seconds of the interview are a series of seemingly unrelated questions, all of which West seems happy to answer. Kanye West hosted some similar listening parties in Chicago earlier this month. The shows were controversial right away for some of the lyrics in his songs as well as samples of Donna Summer and Black Sabbath songs he didn’t get properly cleared. Ozzy Osbourne himself ended up calling West out on Twitter. He labelled the rapper an antisemite and said he wants no association with him.

Despite all the controversy surrounding VULTURES 1, fans still tuned into the album. It sold enough copies to debut at the very top spot on the Billboard 200 in its first week. Playboi Carti Confronted By Fan Pleading For New Music

It’s no secret that Playboi Carti’s fans are starving for new music. The rapper hasn’t officially dropped anything in more than 3 years since he surprise unleashed Whole Lotte Red on fans in 2020. Starting last year and leading into January Carti dropped a series of tracks onto YouTube with accompanying DIY music videos. The tracks never made their way to streaming and it’s been more than a month since a new one dropped. The silence has led fans who were expecting an album to think the tracks may have just been throwaways after all.

One of those fans who is craving new material got the chance to express themselves to Carti directly. In a bizarre new video shared to social media Carti is surprisingly comfortable letting a fan get up close and personal with him. The fan in question is leaning their forehead up against Carti’s pleading with him to release new music soon. Fans in the comments were surprised by the rapper’s willingness to be yelled at. Some even jumped to the conclusion that it was because he was out of his right mind during the interaction. “I know people claim that these rappers don’t do the drugs that they rappers, but he’s living proof that he’s snorting the lines” one of the top comments on the post reads. One of the few places Carti has popped up as a featured artist in the past few years was alongside The Weeknd and Madonna on the track “Popular.” The song landed on the soundtrack for The Weeknd’s HBO show The Idol and also managed to spend a few months on the Hot 100. Earlier this week the song finally got an official music video featuring all three artists portraying their own brands of glitz and glamour.

One of the top comments on a post recapping the videos features a fan wondering if they were even capable of one day reaching that level of flexibility. “Serious question can you become this flexible as an adult that currently isn’t flexible?” the comment reads. Yung Miami Claps Back At Security Guard Who Called Her Out On TikTok

Earlier today, a TikTok started making the rounds online discussing an interaction with Yung Miami. A girl who worked as security at this year’s Super Bowl posted a video recapping some of her interactions with celebrities while there. But in the video she called out Miami specifically for being rude to her. She claimed she tried to talk to the rapper but was ignored. For that reason she accused Miami of being rude and even claimed that she wouldn’t do her job as security for the rapper if fans came after her.

Many in the comments came to Miami’s defense. They claimed that she didn’t owe security anything and might not have even heard the greeting. Eventually, the video got popular enough that Miami herself saw it and decided to defend herself in the comments. “How tf I’m suppose to hear you if one I’m on the phone. 2. You WHISPERED that’s my “good sis Caresha” like you’re literally whispering in the video! where in the video or where’s the audio of you trying to get my attention. J. Cole Shares Snippet Of New Song “Might Delete Later”

Fans of J. Cole are hoping that it’s a big year for the rapper. He hasn’t released a new project since 2021’s The Off-Season. But it’s been even longer that he’s been teasing a new album called The Fall Off. Despite his time away from releasing much of his own material he’s appeared on some high-profile features. Last year he scored his first ever number one hit by teaming up with Drake for the song “First Person Shooter.” He also featured on another one of the biggest rap hits of the year, Lil Durk’s “All My Life” which won the Grammys for Best Melodic Rap Performance earlier this month.

But now Cole appears to be shifting his focus back to his own material. Earlier today he shared a black and white video teasing some new music that could be called “Might Delete Later.” In the video he shares two minutes of a song with an accompanying video that sees him rapping in various locations around a hotel. In the song itself he addresses those asking him for favors who haven’t done anything to earn them. The song starts off with just a spare piano instrumental before drums eventually kick in. But shortly after Cole spits a bar about being interrupted by the cops after which he is literally interrupted in the video. Check out the teaser below.

If J. Cole did drop new music soon he would have the perfect opportunity to debut it live. He’s currently on tour with Drake for the second leg of the It’s All A Blur tour. Yung Miami Called Out By Security Claiming She Ignored Them

The way the musicians and celebrities at large interact with the general public can often be heavily scrutinized. Sometimes the public’s entire perception of an artist can come from how they treat the everyday people they interact with. That’s why a new video of a security officer from this year’s Super Bowl calling out Yung Miami has so many people talking.

The claim was made in a TikTok by a woman who appears to have worked as security at the Super Bowl. The video features a compilation of videos she took while working the event that show off some of her interactions with celebrities. At the end of the video though, she calls out Yung Miami by name. She tells a story of trying to interact with her politely and being walled off completely. She then compares Miami’s behavior to some of the other celebrities that she feels were nicer to her.
