The rumored send off album has been mercilessly teased for years, as we are still awaiting an official release date for it. But with the recent vlogs on YouTube showing some behind the scenes of the album, the hope is it will be out sooner than later at this point. Daylyt, who was a feature on the Might Delete Later cut “Pi,” recently heard The Fall Off and had nothing but glowing reviews for it. A YouTube channel screen recorded the Instagram live session in which Daylyt spoke about it and has us even more excited for what is to come.

This is now the third teaser for his and legendary Chicago producer No I.D.’s album From The Private Collection of Saba & No I.D. The experienced duo first began hinting at the tape’s development back in April of last year with “Back In Office.” Then, just about two months later, they returned with “hue_man nature.” Fans are still eagerly awaiting a release date, but it seems we are inching closer and closer with “head.rap” out now.

Tems Recreates An Afro-beat Classic With “Love Me JeJe”

Tems has grown into her own ever since hip-hop fans discovered her on Future and Drake’s 2022 collaboration “WAIT FOR U.” It went on to become one of Hendrix’s most popular songs on Spotify for quite some time. The R&B jam even peaked at number one on the Billboard Hot 100, scoring her first chart-topper. Fairly soon now, she will be looking to carry all of that momentum onto her debut album. Tems is showing she is ready to take that next leap with one of the project’s singles, “Love Me JeJe.”

Just over a week ago, the Nigerian singer and songwriter teased BORN IN THE WILD on X (formerly Twitter), saying, “BORN IN THE WILD. The Album. May 2024.” Since then, she has not announced the exact release date, but hopefully it will hit streaming services within the first two weeks of the month. We also do not have a confirmed tracklist either, according to Genius.

Normani & Gunna Cannot Resist Each Other On Sensual Lead Single “1:59”

But Normani still has people ready for what she can do on her own with its lead single “1:59” featuring Gunna.

Her supporters might also be thrilled to know that Genius has Dopamine listed for a June 14 release date. That appears to be the confirmed date as well, as Normani has “DOPAMINE THE ALBUM JUNE 14” in her Instagram bio. “1:59” sees the Georgia natives serenade each other, with Gunna even taking on an auto tuned singing and rapping flow. It does not sound too off-putting for those who had doubts about how he would fit on a slow-mo R&B cut.

Normani and Gunna are so infatuated with one another, that even when they are not together, they are always wanting to reunite for an intimate time. Instrumentally, it is nothing that is reinventing the wheel, with its guitar loops and minimal production overall. But it does sound pleasing to the ears vocally and beat wise. Metro Boomin may be viewed as the current king of trap rap, but Southside is step for step with him. The longtime hitmaker from Atlanta, Georgia is always working with the best of the best. It is for good reason too, because he has great synergy with so many legends in Southern hip-hop. Pretty soon, Southside will be dropping his first album in four years and to hype it up, he has a new single out called “President.”

This time around, the “Hold That Heat” creator is teaming up with ragers Destroy Lonely and Ken Carson. Both have been establishing themselves as the future faces of the subgenre over the last couple of years and now they are working with one of the most established stars. “President,” according to a recent press release, looks to be the third single for his unnamed sixth LP. The first of them was 2022’s “Hold That Heat,” which featured Travis Scott and Future.

Then, in late 2023, Southside and Lil Yachty dropped “Gimme Da Lite.” On “President,” the veteran incorporates some stunning synths, horn sections, and rumbling bass. But, its still a solid track all around and it will be one of the more popular tracks from the record.

Kanye West To Have Posthumous Takeoff Verse On “VULTURES 2” Track “LET ME CHILL OUT”

He recently dissed Drake on an official remix of Metro Boomin and Future’s “Like That,” that was blocked by Sony on YouTube. Additionally, the Georgia multi-hyphenate is looking to start up a Yeezy adult film production company, which has been dividing fans. The third bombshell is that he announced the release date for the long-awaited VULTURES 2. Ye said that it will be out on May 3, but if we have learned anything from him, it is that we need to take anything he says about his music with a grain of salt. Now, we have come to learn that Kanye West will be adding a posthumous verse from Takeoff.

The original report comes from Rolling Stone, who confirmed the news in a written piece just hours ago. Fans have been waiting an extra two months almost for the sequel to VULTURES, after the release schedule for the trilogy originally had it dropping on March 8. Even more maddening for Ye die-hards is that the final entry was due on April 5. But nonetheless, fans should have more hope for this to come to fruition since Kanye announced this news himself.

“LET ME CHILL OUT” Has Tons Of Potential

As for this Takeoff track, it is titled “LET ME CHILL OUT,” at least for now. This is huge news on its own, since there have not been many posthumous Takeoff verses officially out there. But there are two other names in the mix for this song too. Rich The Kid will be making a return to the VULTURES scene, after scoring a huge feature on “CARNIVAL.” Maybe the most shocking of them all is NBA YoungBoy. He is currently dealing with a ton of legal issues, but this song was definitely in the works prior to his recent arraignment. In a tweet from Kurrco, you can hear a 20-second snippet of the song.

Glokk40Spaz Releases Trippy Single “Xans” For Upcoming Project

Georgia might be one of the most cutthroat states for rappers. So many try to make it to the top and only a few have left indelible marks on the genre. Artists like Andre 3000, Future, Young Thug, Jeezy, and T.I., for example, are some of names in rare air. One thing that all five of these artists have in common is a recognizable sound. Glokk40Spaz certainly sounds like he could be one of those unique voices with his new single “Xans.”

The 20-year-old rapper hails from the city of Decatur and has been trying to get his career on the fast track to stardom since 2020. Today is our first time covering one of his pieces of music, so are we thrilled for the long overdue opportunity. Glokk40Spaz’s “Xans” showcases are mumbly, auto tuned delivery across an extremely spacey beat. The instrumental has some heavy synths that pop up, and it gives the track a vintage 80s tinge.

Admittedly, Glokk’s flows are little jumbled and at times, he tries to pack in a lot of words into one bar. But otherwise, it is a chill listen that is has its replay value. He has been dropping music since 2018, so he is no rookie at all. But over the last few months or so, he has really picked up some momentum. “Ain’t Running Out” sees Chicken P flexing hard with bars about expensive and exclusive clothing, jewelry, and lavish cars. The stunning Rolls-Royce convertible shown in the music video shows his dedication to sticking to the themes in the songs he creates and implementing them into the visuals.

A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie Is Back In His Ballad Bag With Pre-Album Sampler “ALONE”

Highbridge, Bronx, New York rapper and singer A Boogie Wit da Hoodie is taking on the role of the former on his new EP ALONE. The 28-year-old Artist is gearing up for his eighth project Better Off Alone, which will be due on May 17, according to Genius. Over the course of his career, the “Swervin” creator has given us plenty of ballads on every release. It is part of the reason why he has become such a popular figure from the East Coast. So, to tide fans over, A Boogie is doing just that for four tracks on ALONE.

For us, the production is what stands out. The moody, atmospheric, mostly piano-backed instrumentals sound expensive, so it is clear that he was not trying to cheat fans out of good sonics, even on an EP. The singing/rapping is heavily auto tuned, but it does not turn us off. In some cases, it actually works for the betterment for tracks like the opener “Tiffanys.”

“No More Questions” might be the highlight for us, though. We find that Boogie arguably gives us his most passionate singing and spitting performance. There is also a touching tribute to his late friend and collaborator PnB Rock. On the backend of the song, there is a slowed down version of Rock’s chorus on the 2017 GTTM: Goin Thru the Motions cut “Questions” that adds a nice extra bit of memorability factor.
