Kanye West And JAY-Z’s Unreleased 2007 Collab “Buildings” Leaks Online

It’s been a strange week for Kanye West music. The rapper announced that his new album, Vultures 2, will drop August 3rd. Then, a few hours after, he took the date down from his website. Fans have been waiting to hear the second installment in the Vultures trilogy for months, and they have to keep waiting. On the bright side, a Kanye West song has mysteriously leaked online. It’s not from Vultures 2 sessions, but from the Graduation sessions back in 2007. If that doesn’t sweeten the pot, the inclusion of JAY-Z will.

The leaked song is titled “Buildings.” Kanye West has never mentioned the song, and no snippet of it had ever been released prior to July 31. That said, fans can now listen to the entire four minute collab online. JAY-Z kicks off the song with a predictably excellent verse. The most interesting part of his verse is that some lines, particularly those referencing Cuban cigars and “doing donuts” in a lambo, were eventually repurposed for the single “Otis” in 2011. The contemplative, finally-made-it feel of the song is perfectly suited to name-dropping designer labels, which is what JAY does here. A few months later, Hov would drop American Gangster (2007).

Kanye West And JAY-Z Reflect On Rap Stardom

Kanye West wins the song, though. The production is clean, with crisp piano keys littered throughout, and his verse is filled with clever bars. “Just tryna eat dog, tryna stay fresh,” he raps. “Now I got meals and I’m tryna eat less.” There’s even a reference to 50 Cent, who West was famously beefing with back in 2007. “Yeah mommy, I see you G, on the treadmill, bumping 50,” he spits. “Oh, I get it. You tryna loose that G-G-G-G-U-T.” There’s a ramshackle quality to West’s delivery, and given how polished the rest of Graduation is, one has to wonder whether he would’ve re-recorded his vocals. Regardless, the rawness is fascinating as a sort of studio time capsule.

The strangest part of “Buildings,” though, is Kanye West’s prediction of the future. The rapper was on top of the world in 2007, and hearing him reflect on his status is akin to hopping in a time machine. “As I caught a glimpse of my future,” he raps. “I got that feeling, knowing one day I’ma crush these buildings.” Kanye West wasn’t wrong. Listening to “Buildings” is going to be a bittersweet experience for anybody who misses the old Kanye. It’s a reminder of how relatable his music used to be, and a stark contrast to the music and statements in the present.

Jay-Z & Nas’ First-Ever Collab To Hit DSPs Soon, Courtesy Of Shaquille O’Neal

Shaquille O’Neal is currently gearing up to drop his third studio album, You Can’t Stop The Reign, on DSPs. The highly anticipated moment is scheduled for this Friday (June 28), nearly two decades after the LP’s original 1996 release. Fans are certainly eager to get to listen to it on their respective favorite platforms, and fortunately, the former NBA star will also be providing them with some exciting unreleased material.

Reportedly, the album will feature the original version of his track “No Love Lost,” which features both Nas and Jay-Z. Moreover, this was the duo’s first-ever collab, making it a truly historical track. For obvious reasons, fans can’t wait and are sounding off in Fake Shore Drive‘s Andrew Barber’s comments section.

Shaq Prepares To Drop You Can’t Stop The Reign On DSPs

“THIS IS HISTORY,” one Twitter/X user writes. Another simply says, “This is actually wild.” Others are chiming in to argue that the release is long overdue, which most commenters can agree with. Of course, the track was recorded just before Jay-Z and Nas began a feud that would last for several years, making the recording all the more interesting. Their beef has been a hot topic of debate as of late, particularly amid the fallout of Kendrick Lamar and Drake’s lyrical battle. After things were resolved, they teamed up for a track on Nas’ Hip Hop Is Dead, which made it clear that the war was officially over.

Regardless, “No Love Lost” certainly marks an interesting point in time, which listeners will get an opportunity to look back on come this Friday. Are you looking forward to Shaq’s album, You Can’t Stop The Reign, hitting DSPs? What do you think of him including the original version of “No Love Lost” featuring both Jay-Z and Nas? Pusha T & No Malice Premiere Clipse Track With John Legend During Louis Vuitton Show

Pusha T and No Malice premiered a new unreleased song with John Legend during a fashion show for Louis Vuitton in Paris on Tuesday. It features an orchestral string section as well as a beautifully sung hook from Legend. It’s the second time the two have premiered unreleased music at the brand’s shows since Pharrell took over as creative director.

When the NFR Podcast shared the track on X (formerly Twitter), fans were stoked to hear new music from the duo. “This slap!! And LV got some [fire emoji] outfits here,” one user wrote. Another added: “Clipse reunion has finally happened!” Others theorized that a new Clipse album may be dropping this year, which is something Pusha has confirmed is possible.

Push previously discussed the possibility of a new Clipse project after debuting an unreleased track at last year’s Louis Vuitton show. “I really would hope so,” Push told PEOPLE. “I really would love to, man, I really would love to. At this point I feel like we’ve been in a space a lot together lately, and in those spaces the creativity’s just been flowing. So that’s where you get songs like you heard at the [Louis Vuitton] fashion show. Really what we’ve been doing a lot of it is just contributing with our friends. Like, ‘OK, Pharrell’s a creative director of LV, he needs music for the show.’ How would we not show up for that? How would me and my brother not show up for a Nigo album? I think the creativity between us and just the collective of the family that everybody knows where this started from, is something that you can’t just stop.”

Ice Spice Suspected To Be Dissing Latto Again During Coachella Performance Of Unreleased Song

Ice Spice versus Latto has been one of the many rap beefs we have seen go down in 2024. Both rising femcees are stars in their own rights, and their competitive fervor is what the genre needs. Each hitmaker has sent indirect and direct shots, with Latto being the most recent to do so. On “Sunday Service” she raps, “Do you rap or do you tweet? ‘Cause I can’t tell, get in the booth, b****.” Since that song dropped back in February, the waters have been still so to speak. That is until Ice Spice spoke her piece on the feud with Latto just this past weekend during her Coachella set.

She was originally gaining some traction online for this track because it is rumored to be on her debut album Y2K. But now that fans have deciphered the lyrics a bit, they feel Ice Spice was secretly targeting Latto at Coachella. She retweeted the bars up for discussion on X and they could definitely be perceived as a diss. “B!tches be losing the plot & thats how i got to the top🤭& NO i don’t got any opps!!!🤨like why would i beef with a flop😂Like let’s talk drill!! Who bigger than she?!!Who prettier too?!!!😍250 to GET IN THE BOOTH💥💥💥

Is Ice Spice Coming For Latto?

Unfortunately, fans will have to wait a little bit longer for this song and album to be released. We still do not have word on when Ice Spice will pull the trigger and drop. However, we did receive a promising update not too long ago when the New York drill MC said Y2K passed the vital car test. “Yes, I’ve been playing the album fully through in the car, volume all the way up.”

What are your thoughts on this alleged diss toward Latto from Ice Spice on this unreleased song? Do you think this will be one of the better songs on Y2K? Do you think she is actually going at the Columbus rapper? Did she have one of the better sets at Coachella? We would like to hear what you have to say, so be sure to leave your takes in the comments section. Adin Ross Pays $200K For Unreleased Kanye West & Travis Scott Song, Allegedly Gets Scammed Instead

Adin Ross is one of the biggest streamers on the planet. Consequently, he has a whole lot of money to burn on random items. Although this doesn’t affect his pockets too much, it can still prove to be reckless to put too much money into dumb things. Rich people lose all of their money all of the time, especially when they are young. However, for now, it does seem like Ross has a lot of money left. His Kick deal and his Stake deal are all huge reasons for why this money continues to come in.

Unfortunately for Ross, he recently spent some of that money on something that was completely ill-advised. In the video clip below, Ross reveals that he gave someone $200K for an unreleased Travis Scott and Kanye West song. Overall, this is a wild purchase, even if the song were real. It is hard to justify paying such a price for one song, even if it is never coming out. However, as Ross explains while playing the song, he believes that it is actually AI-generated.

Adin Ross Speaks Out

While playing the song, you hear some repetitive lines from the likes of Ye. Meanwhile, Travis Scott comes in with a verse that isn’t exactly dynamic. By the end of the video, Ross begins to lose confidence in his assertion that this is all AI. In fact, he begins to believe that this may actually just be a real song. Unfortunately, it seems like no one will actually ever know the real answer to that question. All we know for sure is that Ross isn’t satisfied with his purchase right now.

If anything, this is going to serve as a lesson to Ross. The next time he wants to spend that much money on a song, he will think again. Let us know what you think of his latest move, in the comments section below. Additionally, stay tuned to HNHH for the latest news and updates from around the entertainment world. We will always be sure to keep you informed.

Kylie Jenner Bumps Unreleased Tory Lanez Song On TikTok, Fans React

If you’ve been on TikTok at all these past few weeks, there’s a solid chance that you’ve heard Tory Lanez’s unreleased track, “Hurts Me.” In line with some of his more recent material, the song has a strong ’80s vibe with a washed-out, simple, but funky drum beat, ethereal vocal melodies, and spacey synthesizers. Moreover, it’s part of a trend that uses a face-distorting filter that also gives you a small beard- and fans can’t get enough. However, given the Canadian artist’s legal controversies surrounding his convicted shooting of Megan Thee Stallion, some users expressed disappointment in giving him some play. On the other hand, most discussion you will find on social media with a search surrounds people begging for the track’s release.

Furthermore, those who want to boycott the 30-year-old’s music must be especially unhappy with Kylie Jenner. She just posted a couple of videos singing along to “Hurts Me,” most likely blowing the trend up for many that were unaware of it in the process. Of course, it’s ridiculous to expect Tory Lanez fans to not want the song, as unlikely as it seems right now. Still, some conversation online surrounds the fact that many people don’t know who made this song and are unwittingly pushing for him to profit and keep his career despite his crimes.

Kylie Jenner Playing Tory Lanez On TikTok

“She’s literally showing everyone that she sides with Tory,” one user expressed on Twitter. “& don’t give a f**k about Megan, a BLACK woman, who Kylie and her entire family imitates their entire lives around black women.” Another expressed, “Are y’all REALLYYY surprised that Kylie Jenner is (has always been) moving weird lol? Like reallyyy, I genuinely wanna know. She been a weird a** b***h even before all of the Meg & Tory Situation.” Meanwhile, others expressed their support for Tory or simply said that she’s allowed to listen to whatever she wants, and that it doesn’t signal support or condemnation of Tory Lanez. Check out some reactions below

In addition, a lot of people expressed that they honestly wouldn’t have ever known it was Tory who made that song in the first place. Perhaps that’s proving the detractors’ point, but it also shows that a song isn’t enough to demonstrate support of an artist’s personal actions. The court will sentence him in August, and fans will likely continue to bump his music whether they’re famous or not. For more on Kylie Jenner and Tory Lanez, stick around on HNHH.

Drake Samples Kim Kardashian On Unreleased Song, “Rescue Me”

Drake previewed an upcoming song tentatively titled, “Rescue Me,” during Friday night’s episode of Sound 42’s The Fry Yiy Show on SiriusXM Radio. On the track, he samples Kim Kardashian discussing the idea of getting a divorce from Kanye West. The audio comes from an episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians in 2021.

“I didn’t come this far, just to come this far and not be happy. Remember that,” Kim said in the clip. Throughout the song, Drake sings about finding a woman to settle down with for the long run. The song could mean a new solo album is on the horizon for Drake, who recently teased dropping at some point in 2023. The Toronto rapper is also gearing up for a collaborative tour with 21 Savage this summer.

“I need someone to be patient with me/ Someone to get money, would not take it from me/ They don’t even need to be as famous as me/ I don’t think I meet ’em at the places I be/ But deep down I think about you all day, mami,” Drake raps. “I know I’m a pitbull, but dalé, mami/ I just wanna take you on a holiday, mami/ Say what’s on your mind, I’m a call away, mami/ Come and rescue me/ Take me out the club, take me out the trap/ Take me off the market, take me off the map/ I’m tryna hit the group chat and tell ’em.”

Drake previously teased the new song during a post on his Instagram Story, earlier this week. It was produced by BNYX, who shared the snippet on his Twitter account as well. “I remember when I used to add the Drake acapellas to my beats to see if they was hard,” he captioned the clip. “Now look.” 50 Cent even praised Drake after the snippet was posted. On Instagram, he wrote, “I fuck wit Drake. He getting ready to come with some hard shit. You know the vibes n***a.”

Unreleased Kanye West Song From “808s & Heartbreak” Sessions Surfaces Online

An unreleased Kanye West song, supposedly from the 808s & Heartbreak sessions, just surfaced online. Of course, it’s impossible to confirm for sure that it came from those sessions, but there are some strong hints. Any superfans of the cult classic album know that the autotune and cold, minimal beat on here is classic 808s. Moreover, the track is titled “I’ll Be Alright” on SoundCloud, and you can tell Kanye laid down some reference mumbled vocals to work on later. After all, he’s prone to release reference tracks as verses or full songs of his own, and he might have the most revered leaked discography in the game.

For example, his album Yandhi preceded the fan disappointment Jesus Is King, and those tracks never saw the light of day. Well, most of them at least, as “Use This Gospel” and “Selah” landed on the aforementioned album, whereas “Hurricane” landed on Donda. As such, it’s never out of the question to think a Ye leak could eventually manifest into something larger. While a lot of people criticized the Chicago rapper mumbling over his tracks for years, it’s no secret that the production carries that expressive delivery on its shoulders.

Kanye West’s Unreleased “808s” Era Song Sees Light Of Day

Still, it’s a bit hard to enjoy a track from the Yeezy mogul these days given his bigoted and hostile rhetoric. Following multiple instances of antisemitic comments, exclusionary statements, and media meltdowns, public favor of West dwindled to an all-time low. However, many of those who feel the strongest about his deplorable behavior are some of his biggest fans. As such, it’s become interesting to look at Kanye’s music almost as a point against him, or a comparison to himself that makes his past and current values contradict.

Meanwhile, the 45-year-old’s been relatively off of that media cycle for the past few months. Conversation around him hasn’t dwindled, but much of it surrounds his marriage and outings with Bianca Censori. They had a few notable paparazzi run-ins recently, some more hostile than others. Overall, hopefully less photographers and media following him will allow for the internal reflection and healing that many think will suit him best. Regardless, check out “I’ll Be Alright” above and return to HNHH for the latest news and updates from afar on Kanye West.

NBA YoungBoy Shares “Perc 10” From New “Lost Files” Mixtape

YoungBoy Never Broke Again is easily the most prolific rapper of 2022. Over the course of the last twelve months, YoungBoy has dropped eight full-length projects. In January, he unleashed Colors, and less than two months later, he doubled back with Better Than You alongside DaBaby. Then, YoungBoy dropped his sprawling fourth studio album, The Last Slimeto, towards the end of the summer. Although most artists would have stopped there, YB kept going. As a result, YB fans received Realer 2, 3800 Degreez, Ma’ I Got a Family, and 3860 with Quando Rondo in a span of four months.

Surprisingly, YoungBoy has returned with yet another project, titled Lost Files, this Friday. In contrast to his other recent releases, however, is more like a compilation project containing some of the artist’s most popular unreleased tracks. Thus, fan-favorite tracks like “Temporary Time,” “Rich Nigga,” and “Perc 10” are finally available on streaming services.

NBA YoungBoy’s “Perc 10” officially hits DSPs.

According to Genius, YoungBoy recorded “Perc 10” in 2018, but it was prematurely leaked in 2020. Since it first hit the net, it has been known by names like “Narcotics” and “Blow Yo’ Rocket,” but for its official release, NBA went with “Perc 10” for the title.

The song features bouncing production from Baton Rouge hittmaker PlayboyXO. YoungBoy and XO previously worked together on tracks like 2018’s “Genie” and 2020’s “Dead Trollz,” and “Perc 10” is further proof of their collaborative chemistry. On the three-minute track, YoungBoy skates over the eclectic beat with ease, delivering some motivational bars in the process.
