Young Thug is currently awaiting trial for the massive YSL RICO case, which is set to kick off next year.

New of more music from Cudi comes just months after his eighth studio album, Entergalactic. At the time, Cudi hinted at being done with music while speaking with Apple Music’s Zane Lowe in September. He said he’s gotten “bored of making albums” and needs something “different.”

“The Kid Cudi stuff, I think I want to put it on the back burner and chill out with that,” he said. “I think, I want to be done with it. I think, closing the chapter on Kid Cudi. The goal for Entergalactic, I was bored of making albums.

“Just, doing an album, two music videos and that’s it,” he further added. “And I was like, ‘Man, I went into this wanting to do something epic and different.’ And now, that I’ve done that, I just… I’ve made a lot of music, man.”

Earlier in the week on Twitter, Cudi recalled going on a two-week-long “cocaine run” after filming his music video for “Frequency.”

Elon Musk Offers To Step Down As Head Of Twitter In New Poll

Elon Musk has posted a poll asking his Twitter followers whether he should step down as head of the social media platform. Musk says that he plans to abide by the results, whatever they may be.

In further posts, he added: “As the saying goes, be careful what you wish, as you might get it,” as well as, “Those who want power are the ones who least deserve it.”

Prior to releasing the poll, he announced that decisions would be made democratically going forward.

He said: “Going forward, there will be a vote for major policy changes. My apologies. Won’t happen again.”

Musk didn’t confirm who at Twitter would replace him. However, when Lex Fridman offered to take up the mantle, he gave some insight as to how he’s been coping with taking over the site.

“You must like pain a lot,” Musk said. “One catch: you have to invest your life savings in Twitter and it has been in the fast lane to bankruptcy since May. Still want the job?”

As of Sunday night, the poll sits at 56.5% in favor of Musk stepping down and 43.5% in support of him staying on. Over 10 million users have participated.

It isn’t the first time that Musk has made a decision for the platform based on a user poll. He previously welcomed Donald Trump back to the site after conducting a similar poll.

Young Thug and Gunna are currently awaiting trial in their upcoming RICO case. The trial is scheduled to begin on January 9, 2023. They’ve been in jail since May 2022.

As for Takeoff, the Migos rapper was shot and killed at a bowling alley in Houston, last month. 21 Savage reflected on his passing, shortly afterward, praising Takeoff for his composure.

“He not really in the way, in the mix for real,” 21 told DJ Akademiks at the time, before adding, “He just always in his own world. He really quiet for real unless he know you.

21 continued: “He funny as hell though, but if he know you type shit. I ain’t never seen that n***a mad, had an attitude. I ain’t never seen him out of character. He always the exact same way everytime I see him. He’ll smile, dap you up. Mind his business bro.”

Lastly, Lil Keed died on May 13, 2022, due to kidney and liver failure.

Elon Musk To Increase Cost Of Twitter Blue For iPhone Users

Elon Musk and Twitter will be relaunching the Twitter Blue service on Monday. The company has announced that iPhone users will have to pay a higher fee to access the subscription.

“We’re relaunching @TwitterBlue on Monday,” the official Twitter account posted. “Subscribe on web for $8/month or on iOS for $11/month to get access to subscriber-only features, including the blue checkmark.”

The Twitter Blue service will allow subscribers access to a blue checkmark, the ability to edit tweets, and upload high-quality videos.

The decision to increase the price for iOS users comes following Musk’s feud with Apple. The increase is likely to cover a fee put forth on Twitter by Apple’s App Store. Musk called out the company on Twitter, last month, directly tagging Tim Cook in his posts.

In the time since, Musk and Cook have met up and come to a mutual understanding.

“Good conversation,” Musk said of meeting the Apple CEO. “Among other things, we resolved the misunderstanding about Twitter potentially being removed from the App Store. Tim was clear that Apple never considered doing so.”

Musk’s takeover of Twitter hasn’t come without its share of controversy. Massive layoffs, unbanning polarizing accounts, and more all culminated in the Telsa CEO being booed on stage with Dave Chappelle on Sunday night in San Francisco.

Meek Mill Responds To Kanye West

With Ye throwing shots and shots left and right, at least a few people caught in the crossfire are bound to respond. Meek Mill recently responded to Kanye West’s jabs at him during a recent appearance on the platform Clubhouse. Amid many other users and commentators, the Chicago rapper couldn’t stop laughing at Meek criticizing him. The Philly rapper spoke out against Kanye using a “White Lives Matter” shirt, to which Ye could only laugh.

“Why I made somebody think that Meek Mill could say something to me?” the fashion designer said while laughing uncontrollably. “No, this is the funniest thing of everything. I’m about to start crying laughing. Sorry- no I’m literally in tears.”

While many focused on Kanye’s controversial statements, a few people online threw their hat into this ring. On one hand, many defended Meek for standing up against that behavior, but people sent their fair share of hate as well. Regardless, he recently took to Twitter to voice his thoughts on the matter, at least somewhat.

“Never lost my mind for fame or money…” he wrote. “I still have my family… my people respect me… I’m freeing people from prison, doing community service all month with children up close and personal… I’m chilling wit my son and his friends today… y’all on clubhouse at 50 lol.”

Moreover, this isn’t the first time that Meek has criticized Kanye this year, or vice versa. In fact, Funk Flex urged the “Dreams and Nightmares” rapper to go after Ye following his Drink Champs interview. He also said Kanye “sold his soul” on his freestyle on DJ Khaled’s GOD DID and also called him “crazy and lame.”

“I don’t got no celebrity friends,” Kanye said on Drink Champs. “Because when I was on TV on Instagram saying, ‘I don’t know where my child is,’ and ‘the Kardashians kidnapped my daughter in public,’ and ‘I didn’t have the address to my child,’ none of these n***as that want to say something now…as far as Meek Mills, Puff Daddy, all you fake hard n***as, f**k you. You can’t shoot nobody anyway.”

Elon Musk Plans To Sue Twitter Employees Who Break NDAs And Spill To Media

The headlines surrounding Elon Musk’s chaotic takeover at Twitter have slowed down recently. However, a new update reveals that the CEO is having issues with his staff leaking private information to the media. As TMZ notes, the South African is responding by threatening legal action against anyone who breaks their contractual NDA.

Platformer editor Zoë Schiffer obtained a copy of the engineer’s correspondence with Twitter workers. She later directly shared quotes from it on her own profile. “NEW: Elon Musk is threatening to sue Twitter employees who leak confidential information to the press,” she wrote on Saturday (December 10).

“He’s asking staffers to sign a pledge indicating they’ve understood,” she went on. In the following thread, the journalist broke down what she read in the original document.

Musk’s email began, “As evidenced by the many detailed leaks of confidential Twitter information, a few people at our company continue to act in a manner contrary to the company’s interests and in violation of their NDA.”

“This will be said only once: If you clearly and deliberately violate the NDA that you signed when you joined, you accept liability to the full extent of the law & Twitter will immediately seek damages.”

The 51-year-old additionally let his staff know that “occasional slip-ups are understandable.” However, “breaking your word by sending detailed info to the media” with intentions of harming the website “will receive the response it deserves.”

According to Schiffer’s reporting, Twitter employees were given until 5 PM today to respond.

For his part, Musk has been posting commentary seemingly related to today’s events. “Twitter is both a social media company and a crime scene,” he penned on Saturday afternoon.

In his next post, the investor shared a meme. It surprisingly hints at him digging up some of the app’s “darkest secrets,” only causing more of a stir online.

Elsewhere in the news, Elon Musk’s brain implant company has been placed under investigation for potential animal abuse. Read more about that here, and share your thoughts on Twitter’s latest troubles in the comments.

Tory Lanez Tweets Bible Verses Following Megan Thee Stallion Hearing

After over two years of speculation, the world is about to discover what may have happened between Megan Thee Stallion and Tory Lanez. The former friends were once thick as thieves; however, an incident in July 2020 would change their lives forever. It was then that Megan was injured outside of a Hollywood Hills mansion as Lanez was arrested. She later came forward to accuse Lanez of shooting her in the foot—a charge he denied since the onset.

This week, Lanez received an additional charge of negligent discharge of a firearm. He already faced charges of assault with a semiautomatic firearm and carrying a loaded and unregistered firearm, according to TMZ. Hours ago, he returned to Twitter with what he called his “last tweet,” and it once again divided pop culture.

“I’m going to leave this here one more time …and watch how it ages,” the singer-rapper wrote. “NO WEAPON FORMED AGAINST ME SHALL PROSPER … AND EVERY TONGUE THAT RISES AGAINST ME IN JUDGEMENT SHALL BE CONDEMNED u sit and watch now …. And don’t ever question the GOD I serve again . This is my last tweet.”

Lanez’s supporters interpreted this as his way of saying he was confident that the trial would end in his favor. There has been a divide, especially within Hip Hop culture, about this case. Megan has repeatedly stated that Lanez, and no one else, was her assailant. However, with Lanez’s adamant enthusiasm that he did not pull the trigger, others have deemed the Houston rapper a liar.

The trial is set to begin next week. Check back with us as we continue to cover updates about the case.

SZA hinted at collaborating with Paramore’s Hayley Williams on Twitter, Tuesday, exciting fans at the idea. The post comes ahead of the release of SZA’s highly-anticipated sophomore album, S.O.S.

While she hinted at working with Williams down the road, she won’t be featured on S.O.S. SZA revealed the tracklist for the album, earlier this week. The project features Travis Scott, Don Toliver, Phoebe Bridgers, and more artists.

Hayley Williams has also been active musically as of late. She and the rest of Paramore are gearing up to release their first album in nearly six years with This Is Why. The project is due out on February 10, 2023.

As for when Williams and SZA could collaborate is unclear. The TDE singer previously admitted that she doesn’t “see longevity” in her music career.

“I feel like music, in this capacity, I don’t see longevity,” she told Billboard. “I like to create, I like to write, I like to sing, and I like to share. But I don’t know if chasing after superstardom or whatever I’m supposed to be doing right now is sustainable for me or for anybody. I’mma take a good swing at it, and I’mma give ’em my absolute best.”

She further added: “I only do what I want to do, and this makes me feel free and safe and unrestricted.”

SZA’s S.O.S. will be arriving on Friday, December 9. The project will be her first since 2017’s Ctrl.
