Kanye West Didn’t Drop “VULTURES 2” And The Internet Is Devastated

Kanye West is the rapper who cried wolf. He has said some outlandish things during his time in the spotlight, but he can’t seem to help himself when it comes to false release dates. VULTURES 2 was supposed to drop back in March. Then, it got pushed back. April, then May. No? Don’t worry, Kanye promised fans that August 2 was the day. Well, August 2 has arrived, and still, no new album. He has gotten the hopes of fans up yet again, and they’re not happy.

The August 2 release date was always sketchy. Yeezy.com was wiped clean, and the only page on the site read: “ALL ORDERS FULFILLED VULTURES 2 COMING AUGUST 2ND.” Seemed pretty clear that the album was going to be released. Then, the page with the release date disappeared. Within a few hours, though, the “AUGUST 2ND” was wiped from the site. The bit about orders being fulfilled remained, but suddenly an early August date seemed as unlikely as the dates that preceded it. Turns out, the skeptics were right. It’s been six months since VULTURES 2 was originally supposed to drop, and Kanye West has yet to deliver.

Kanye West Fans Doubt The Album Will Ever Drop

To say that fans were angry would be an understatement. It felt like everybody was waiting for the clock to strike midnight so they could voice their frustration. The usual batch of memes were posted. We got to see Jesse Pinkman yell “He can’t keep getting away with this” a couple dozen times. The thing that was distinct, though, was the sense of predictability. Fans knew that the odds of getting VULTURES 2 were slim, and are accepting the idea that it may never be released. “Initial thoughts,” one user sarcastically tweeted. “VULTURES 2 didn’t drop.”

The disappointment was more evident than ever, too. One user articulated a feeling that seems to be running throughout most of the Kanye West fanbase. “It’s a really sad feeling to not care about potential album drops from your favorite artist anymore,” they tweeted. “I forgot that VULTURES 2 sh*t was even happening. She has made some bigoted comments, and for the most part, she is not well-liked, especially given her vehicular manslaughter case. That said, Jenner still delivers her opinion on things, for better or for worse. Consequently, it shouldn’t be surprising that she had an opinion on the death of OJ Simpson.

Overall, the death of OJ was easily the biggest story of the morning. However, as you can imagine, most of the reactions have been people celebrating his passing. He was an individual that was not well-liked, for obvious reasons. That said, Jenner took to Twitter and simply wrote “good riddance.” It was a tweet that one could describe as distasteful. Many agreed with such an evaluation, and let their thoughts be known. In fact, many are seeing Jenner as a hypocrite in this situation.

Had it been someone from the Kardashian family who had made these comments, perhaps the responses would have been different.

Overall, The Idol has been roasted quite a bit over the last few weeks. However, a lot of fans have still tuned in week after week. This is because there is nothing better than some scandalous television. Even if the show offends your senses, there is still a good chance that you will tune in. Subsequently, on Sunday, fans finally got the show’s finale. It only took five episodes for the first season to wrap up, and overall, it was a bit of a doozy.

Essentially, the entire episode revolved around Lily-Rose Depp trying to get The Weeknd’s character out of her life. However, by the end of the episode, she has a change of heart and decides to let him back into her life. Additionally, he gets to face the crowd at her concert, which just so happens to be at So-Fi Stadium.

“The Idol” Goes Out With A Bang

For a lot of fans, this was a bad ending to an already-suspect show. After all, Tedros was an abuser who also kidnapped women and pimped them out. It also appeared as though Jocelyn didn’t actually need him in order to succeed. Either way, the whole finale felt like a huge contradiction. Jack Harlow Has Fans Singing His Praises With “Jackman”

Jack Harlow has been criticized quite a bit over the last year or so. Overall, this is due to the fact that his last album was a bit underwhelming. Despite a song with Drake, people felt like Harlow was mailing it in. The album was in one ear and out the other for a lot of people. However, earlier this week, Harlow shocked people as he announced a new project called Jackman. The cover art featured him shirtless, which subsequently led to some roasts on social media. Although, the album is finally here, and it’s glorious.

If one thing is for certain on this album, it is that Jack Harlow has redeemed himself. For instance, he decided to strip things back and only opt for 10 songs. Moreover, there is only about 24 minutes worth of material here. Simply put, Harlow has cut the filler and is looking to make a statement. In fact, this is reminiscent of some of his earlier albums, like Loose. Below, you can see the tracklist and how it actually has zero features.

Jack Harlow Opens Up And Gets In His Storytelling Bag

Immediately following the release of the project, Jack Harlow was hit with a plethora of praise from his fans. Additionally, even his detractors couldn’t help but hit him with some praise. The album has some great moments, especially on the song “Gang Gang Gang” in which Harlow raps about how good people take wrong turns when they grow up. Overall, it is impressive to see Harlow’s storytelling skills on full display. “Jack Harlow very clearly had something to prove on his new album Jackman… I can faithfully say that he has indeed proved it,” one user wrote.

“Gang Gang Gang is actually so insane. a real-life realization that the best people in your life grew up in the worst ways possible. jack harlow becoming an artist in front of our eyes,” another said. Needless to say, it appears as though Jack Harlow has changed the narrative for the better. Hopefully, he can drop another new project, sometime soon.
