Kid Cudi is ready to drop his Entergalactic album. Ahead of the release of the project and its coordinating Netflix series, Cudi has released the tracklist.
The album is 15 tracks in length and features Ty Dolla $ign, 2 Chainz, Steve Aoki, Dot Da Genius, and Don Toliver.
“Entergalactic is everything I’ve always wanted to do, create a long-form visual companion to an album,” Cudi said. “It all started with the music which helped bring this storyline and these characters to life. Entergalactic is unlike anything I’ve ever done, certainly my most ambitious project to date; I can’t wait for you to finally experience it.”

Rihanna and the NFL have seemingly confirmed that the Bajan pop star will perform at next year’s Super Bowl halftime show. Earlier today, Rihanna shared a picture of a football on Instagram, which the official NFL account liked.
Shortly after, the NFL shared a tweet with the same picture, tagging Rihanna, Apple Music, and the NFL on Fox Twitter account.
Rihanna was reportedly offered to perform at the Super Bowl in 2020, however, turned down the opportunity due to the NFL’s treatment of Colin Kaepernick.
Fans of Rihanna are also eager for new music, as she’s been teasing her ninth studio album for more than six years. The Super Bowl halftime show seems like the perfect opportunity to share new songs.
This past May, Rihanna and ASAP Rocky welcomed their son. While it may seem she has her hands tied, as a new mom, an artist, and a business woman, Rihanna said in a recent interview with Vogue that she doesn’t feel restricted or hindered in any way.
“I think I even say yes to more now,” she said, “because I know it will be different on the other side of this. At first, I expected some magical change, but really I remain who I am.”
She continued, saying, “none of the dials are turned down.”
Kid Cudi is just days away from dropping his 10th studio album, Entergalactic. Though much of the album was recorded three years ago, Cudi has been in the process of creating an animated special to accompany the album. For Entergalactic, Cudi teamed up with Kenya Barris to develop the album’s animated component for Netflix.
In an interview with Rolling Stone Cudi revealed why he chose to take a different approach when creating Entergalactic
“…I was tired of making albums,” Cudi said. “I was bored of it. I was bored of having an album, dropping two music videos, and then that’s it. I was tired of the same old thing. And I was like if I’m going to do another album, it has to be exciting. It has to be something different that nobody’s ever done before. And that’s when I came up with the idea to try to do this musical told through animation. And it just made so much sense from that point on. Kenya [Barris] was the first person who really put the animation idea in my head cause he said that Netflix was looking for animation.”
Distinguished actor James Earl Jones is officially retiring from Star Wars. After 45 years of voicing ‘Darth Vader,’ Jones announced he’s officially signed his voice rights over to Lucasfilm.
The Oscar winner first debuted his voiceover role in the original 1977 film, as the iconic Star Wars villain, giving voice to the ‘Sith Lord’ while David Prowse physically portrayed the character.
Now, sound editors will use archival recordings and an A.I. program to create new dialogue with his iconic voice. This method has already been used in the Star Wars franchise to recreate the voice of a young ‘Luke Skywalker,’ and to mimic Darth Vader’s voice in the new show ”Obi-Wan Kenobi.”
According to Vanity Fair, Jones has given his blessing for Lucasfilm to use his signature voice in future Star Wars content, even those made after his own passing.

Just a week away from his album and Netflix special Entergalactic, Kid Cudi has given us another taste of what to expect. On his latest single, “Willing To Trust,” Cudi is joined by his Entergalactic co-star Ty Dolla Sign on a poignant, romantic ballad.
“It’s the day I’ve been waitin’ for / And I’m settin’ the scene / Your touch paralyzes me in the mornin’ / And I don’t want you to go /Sincerely yours, forevermore,” Cudi sings in the opening verse.
On each of their choruses, Cudi and Ty Dolla Sign sing “I’ve been willing to trust someone” after spending so long searching for love.
Ty Dolla Sign delivers the second verse, detailing the events of falling in love when he least expected it.
“If we ain’t got trust we ain’t got nothin’ / Is this really love, what it’s bеcomin’ / Funny how we turned into somethin’ / Said you wasn’t even lookin’ for a boyfriend / Don’t need new friends, that sh*t so confusing,” sings Ty Dolla Sign.
Check out “Willing To Trust” above.
Entergalactic is out 9/30 via Republic and will stream on Netflix the same day. Pre-save the album here.

If there was anyone who should be considered the “perfect” person to respond to Kanye West’s recently resurfaced opinions about reading, it’s Levar Burton. The beloved actor hosted the PBS Kids educational television series Reading Rainbow for more than 23 years from 1983 to 2006 and is pretty much the biggest advocate for reading and literacy there is. Upon seeing a headline touting Kanye’s claim to be repulsed by literature and comparison of books to brussels sprouts, Burton issued an empathetic and thoughtful response that nonetheless conveyed his disappointment in Kanye’s statements.
“I’m going have to take Mr. West at his word,” he wrote on Twitter. “I hope however, that he shares a different message with the children enrolled in the school he’s founded named after his mother, who was an professor of English. I’m fairly certain she read a book or two.”
Hmmm… I’m going have to take Mr. West at his word. I hope however, that he shares a different message with the children enrolled in the school he’s founded named after his mother, who was an professor of English. I’m fairly certain she read a book or two. #bydhttmwfihttps://t.co/HVR0oKpsgf
He is, of course, referring to the recently launched and already controversial Donda Academy, which allegedly has parents sign NDAs while touting an advanced course of study for its hundred or so students. However, considering Kanye’s frankly half-assed approach to practically every other business venture he’s embarked on for the past six years, hopes aren’t high for the private school. It’s not even accredited yet.
Kanye recently reiterated his “proud non-reader of books” status on the podcast Alo Mind Full after being recommended a book by its host. “When you said ‘I hadn’t read this book,’ I actually haven’t read any book,” he asserted. ““Reading is like eating brussel sprouts for me. And talking is like getting the Giorgio Baldi corn ravioli.”
Yesterday, Lil Nas X shared a video of his new Madame Tussauds wax figure, which is so convincing that he successfully used it to prank Lizzo, Olivia Rodrigo, and others into thinking it was actually him. Other artists haven’t been so lucky when they were immortalized in wax, as questionable figures of Billie Eilish, Ariana Grande, Nicki Minaj, and Rihanna bear at best a passing resemblance to the source material.
Plenty of famous folks have gotten the wax figure treatment aside from the aforementioned, like Taylor Swift, Brad Pitt, Jackie Chan, Grumpy Cat, and the list goes on and continues to grow. As new figures of varying quality emerge, it begs the question: Just how are these things made?
How It’s Made, the long-running documentary series that has been on the air since 2001, did a segment on wax figures in a 2011 episode. The Science Channel, the Canadian show’s home in the US, uploaded that clip onto YouTube about a year ago and it offers a detailed breakdown of what goes into the process.
The video is better watched than it is read about, but in summary, the subject of the figure has a bunch of measurements taken, mostly of the face, when possible. From there, a mold is made, which is then used to create a wax casting. Then, painting and other techniques are used to add realism to the figure.
Watch the How It’s Made segment above. Insider also spoke with Andres Lopes, a studio manager at Madame Tussauds, in a video from 2018, so find that below.
The time has come for Saturday Night Live to return to our late-night screens with some occasionally funny jokes and Colin Jost’s squeaky-clean face. At the end of last season, fans said goodbye to long-time cast members Pete Davidson, Kate McKinnon, Aidy Bryant, and Kyle Mooney, meanwhile, a slew of new players entered the mix. Now, the long-running series has announced its first batch of hosts and musical guests for the 48th season.
The October 1st season premiere will be hosted by Top Gun Maverick’s Miles Teller with Kendrick Lamar making his third appearance as musical guest after releasing Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers earlier this year.
Episode two will air on October 8th with host Brendan Gleeson, who will star in The Banshee’s Of Inisherinthis fall, though he might be more familiar to you as Mad-Eye Moody from the Harry Potter films or Knuckles from Paddington 2. He’s got incredible range! Willow will be the musical guest ahead of her fifth album COPINGMECHANISM which drops on Oct 7th.
Finally, Megan Thee Stallion will be making her triumphant return as not only musical guest, but first-time host as well on October 15th. The rapper recently released Traumazine. This is great and all, but when will Keenan Thompson be asked to be the first host who is also a current cast member?
The 48th season of SNL premieres October 1st on NBC and Peacock.
