Tristan Thompson Clowned For Goofy Walk On “The Kardashians”

Fans of The Kardashians once again took aim at Tristan Thompson. This week, it was over the bizarre way that Thompson was seen strutting around the Kardashian mansion during the most recent of the show. “Stank a– walk,” one X user referred to it as. “He walking like something up in it,” another person noted. However, overall, fans weren’t quite sure why the one-time ESPN analyst was walking the way he was.

After joining the Lakers for their playoff return last season, Thompson is back to playing regular-season basketball this year. The former fourth-overall pick was signed to fill out the Cavs bench this season and is playing some decent minutes. At the time of writing, Thompson has 11.2 minutes per game, with six games played. With that on-court time, he is averaging 3 points and 3.3 rebounds. The Cavs are 3-5 to open the season and are struggling to find consistency

For her part, Kylie also expressed anxiety over Thompson’s impending visit, giving Kourtney at least one ally in the family.

During their chat, Kourtney asked Thompson if he “feels anything” after he cheats. Thompson, who has previously said that he is “now in a place to own his mistakes”, claimed he felt “disgusted”. However, Kourtney jumped on the answer, demanding to know why, if that was the case, he would cheat so frequently. Thompson, at this stage of his career, is better known for his infidelity and allegations of neglect than anything he does on the court.

The confrontation comes just one episode after Kourtney laid bare her feelings about the Cavaliers role player. “I told her the first day of school, I was so triggered by him. And I know why, but I feel like we all brush it off and are fine, and then I was just so triggered. I was like, ‘I just can’t do it anymore’,” Kourtney said of a conversation with her daughter Penelope.

However, Kourtney, who has grown more distant from the core family in recent years, does appear to be a minority dissenter. This season of the shoe has also seen Kim wax poetical about how conflicted she about the awful things Thompson did to her sister but also the kindness he shows the family and how good he is with the KarJen children. Expect Kourtney’s animosity towards Thompson to be a recurring theme for the remainder of the season.

Kourtney Kardashian Says Tristan Thompson “Triggers” Her

In a rare appearance on The Kardashians, Kourtney Kardashian stated that Tristian Thompson “triggers” her. Kardashian even went as far as to ask her daughter she was “okay” with Thompson being around them. “Tristian has done so many awful things to my sister that it’s hard to be around him. Sometimes I just find him so triggering to be around,” Kardashian said in a confessional.

Of course, Thompson has been nothing but trouble for Kourtney’s sister Khloe. Thompson cheated on her repeatedly, as well as potentially cheating on his pregnant girlfriend with Khloe. However, Thompson continually plays hot and cold with Khloe. In an episode of the show at the end of September, Thompson stunned Khloe by calling her “his person”. Meanwhile, Thompson has been accusing of neglecting the children he had with other women in favor of being around his more famous children.

However, despite everything he’s done, the family still appears to love having Thompson around. Kim Kardashian heaped praise on Tristan Thompson during an October episode of The Kardashians. “He is such a good friend and such a good dad. But he just couldn’t get it together in that area of being a faithful boyfriend. You wanna hate him for that…But I will never throw someone away and act like they can’t grow and evolve.” Kardashian said. She also listed all of the selfless things Thompson has done for her and the family, such as taking her kids to dinner.

This response, however, was met with backlash from several sources. “Its been so hard to refrain from speaking up, and out of respect for my sister, I haven’t for over 7 years. but this is just too much. It’s so painful to see how Tristan can find the time to these nice things for others but can’t seem to show up and be a real parent my nephew Prince,” the lengthy statement began. It was written by the sister of Jordan Craig, the mother of Thompson’s eldest child. The post went on to call out Kim Kardashian for defending Thompson’s character on a “global platform”.

Kris Jenner Reveals She Landed Tristan Thompson His ESPN Gig

On this week’s episode of The Kardashians, it was revealed Kris Jenner was the reason that Tristan Thompson joined ESPN for a brief stint earlier in 2023. While talking about the gig during the episode, Thompson went out of his way to thank Jenner for pulling some strings to land him the coveted job. “It’s a dream. I mean, the fact that we could have that call on Friday, and they say, ‘Can you start Monday?’ That never happens to anyone,” Jenner quipped. “I was able to reach out to ABC/Disney and really express how talented I thought Tristan was. And how they would really benefit from him being a part of the ESPN team, for example,” Jenner added in a confessional.

Thompson was not the most engaging analyst and was used sparingly by ESPN between January and April. He left the position when he was signed by the Lakers. Perhaps his most memorable moment was in one of his first appearances on the network. In it, he argued that LeBron should be an MVP candidate in the 2022-23 season. It was an astonishingly bad take given LeBron’s mediocre season. In fact, the 2022-23 season became the first season of LeBron’s career in which he received zero MVP votes.

As The Sun reports, Thompson’s third child has yet to meet his father, but that doesn’t mean he’s not picking up on the Canadian’s athletic abilities. Over the weekend, Nichols shared a look at Theo playing soccer outdoors, proving that a love for sports just may run in his genes. Elsewhere on her Story, the fitness model posted a sweet clip of her growing boy walking alongside her small dogs.

Nichols, who shares a son with NBA player Tristan Thompson, shared pictures of her and Theo getting ready for bed. Furthermore, it appears that Nichols is giving Theo a headstart on his faith. In the reading photo, they can be seen reading a page of a book entitled “Awesome God”.

Theo was born in December 2021 and was confirmed to be Thompson’s after Nichols filed a paternity suit in an effort to receive child support. Nichols, who is best known as a fitness influencer, has shared several glimpses into her life with Theo. In the past, they’ve been to zoos and farmer’s markets together. Tristan Thompson Now Brother Amari’s Temporary Guardian Following Mother’s Passing

Earlier this year, Tristan Thompson’s mother Andrea passed away unexpectedly at the age of 53 after having a heart attack. The basketball player had a tough time coping with the tragic loss. This was documented on the past season of The Kardashians. Amid his grieving process, he stayed with ex Khloe Kardashian, and received support from the reality star and her family. Tristan’s 17-year-old brother Amari, who suffers from epilepsy, also moved in with them.

Amari’s disability makes him unable to care for himself, so his mother had been his primary caretaker before she passed away. Once she died, the question was raised as to who would care for Amari. Tristan filed a legal request to become his little brother’s legal guardian earlier this month, meaning he’d be responsible for his day-to-day needs. In addition to ensuring that all of Amari’s medical requirements are met, he’d also oversee the inheritance he received from his late mother, which is over $100K. His inheritance is not yet available for disbursement.

Some social media users suspected that he was throwing jabs at Khloe.

He later addressed the accusations, claiming that the message wasn’t intended for Khloe. He additionally claimed she’s “been a real one” towards him and his brothers from the beginning. The Cleveland Cavaliers are adding some more veterans to an enticing young core of talent. But, they are not just adding any free agent on the market. Koby Altman has done a very nice job running the front office for the past few years now. Drafting Darius Garland, trading for Donovan Mitchell, acquiring Jarrett Allen, selecting Evan Mobley, this list goes on. The roster now grows even deeper by bringing back a fan favorite, Tristan Thompson. These reports come from Uproxx and NBA insider for The Athletic, Shams Charania.

Double T, as Cavs fans like to call him, began his NBA journey back when he was picked fourth overall in the 2011 draft out of Texas. A key cog in the system during the squad’s run to four consecutive NBA Finals appearances and one championship, Thompson always brought energy and rebounding night in and night out. He was as steady as you can get as he rarely got injured. But as time went on, he made trips to play for Sacramento, Boston, Chicago, Indiana, and most recently, the Lakers.
