Travis Scott Teases New Album “Utopia” In Unconventional Ways

As most know, Travis Scott is getting close to releasing his first album in four years. We have gotten a few sneak peeks here and there. However, it appears that the rapper is taking extra measures to prevent any leaks. He even went as far as physically attaching the album to his muscular security guard by handcuffing it to his wrist. The rapper was seen leaving a record store in Hollywood earlier today. However, he wasn’t alone. His vigilant security guard accompanied him, carrying a briefcase handcuffed to his own wrist. The briefcase had the word “Utopia” written on it as he courteously held the door open for Travis Scott. Utopia, of course, is the title of the rapper’s upcoming album.

This is not merely a fashion statement; it is also an incredibly creative marketing tactic. According to a source that spoke to TMZ, the highly-anticipated album is actually contained in the briefcase. They were also informed that the complete unveiling of Travis Scott’s return to music is approaching rapidly, expected sometime during this summer. Another clue suggesting that the rapper is up to something is evident in the shoes he is wearing, which display “Utopia” on the back. One can speculate that there might be another collaboration with Nike in the works.

Travis Scott Plays “Utopia” For Houston Astros

As we inch closer to the release of Utopia, more little bits of information are released. For example, it was revealed that Travis Scott played the album for the Houston Astros. The Houston native sparked a frenzy on social media with the move, as it was yet another tease of his long awaited album. A video surfaced of Travis at the Astros’ game, where he mentioned to the cameraman that he played the team his project to motivate them against the Chicago Cubs. During his remarks, he confirmed that the album is on its way and instructed an individual named Mark to “finish the master.” As a result, the hype for Utopia has reached an all time high.

Sadly, Travis Scott has been teasing this project for a considerable amount of time. Consequently, some fans may still be somewhat skeptical about considering anything as a definitive confirmation of a release date. Despite this, the rapper has gradually been reemerging onto the music scene. For example, he recently appeared as a featured artist on close colleague Chase B’s latest single “Ring Ring.” The single also featured frequent collaborator Quavo, Cactus Jack signee Don Tolvier, and Ty Dolla $ign. It’s a great day to be a Travis Scott fan. As they continue to wait patiently for new music, the Houston rapper reveals his forthcoming album Utopia is coming very soon and that it’s “on the way.”

This new project serves as his newest release since 2018’s critically-acclaimed Astroworld, which features all-star appearances from Frank Ocean, Drake, Swae Lee, James Blake, Sheck Wes, Kid Cudi, Juice WRLD, The Weeknd, Pharrell, Gunna, Nav, Takeoff, 21 Savage, and more.

And if there’s one thing you can count on from Travis, it’s his support for his hometown of Houston. On Monday evening, the “Sicko Mode” recording artist visited Minute Maid Park to hang out with the guys on the Houston Astros baseball team, giving them a preview of the highly-anticipated new music. 

In a clip that surfaced online, Travis states, “Man, fresh from Utopia. It’s on the way now. Had to come here and play Utopia for the boys in the locker room. Had to get it right for the game. You know how we do, from the clubhouse to the stu!”

Boasting 49 million followers on Instagram alone, Travis Scott played the unreleased music right before the Astros played the Chicago Cubs in their home stadium. Travis must have been good luck, as the Astros ended up beating the Cubs 6 to 4. Additionally, Scott got in some batting practice and even got to peep the weight room.

While rocking his Air Jordan 1 Low “Black Phantom” sneakers, Travis seemed very excited to preview Utopia. In fact, he’s been teasing these tracks for years, even releasing two songs titled “Mafia” and “Escape Plan” back in November 2021.

Last year, cryptic billboards of Utopia popped up all around Southern California. In August, Travis revealed returning to the studio to perfect the new project.

Travis Scott’s Album ‘Utopia’ Is On The Way And The Houston Astros Were The First To Preview It

Travis Scott fans are in luck. The rapper’s fourth studio album Utopia is ready to be released, or so Scott says. In February, in a clip posted to social media, the producer told fans that although he couldn’t wait for the project to be released. However, he wouldn’t drop it until a few artists signed to his Cactus Jack label, including Don Toliver, were taken care of first.

Staying true to his promise, Travis Scott is preparing to share the project with the world. During his scheduled appearance at the Houston Astros’ Minute Maid Park, he allowed the players to be the first to preview it before its public release.

When asked how he felt to be onsite in his hometown with new music on the horizon, Scott told Mark Berman, Fox 26’s sports director, “Man, you know, fresh from Utopia. Nah, mean? Live from the Utopia. It’s on the way now, Mark.”

Continuing, “I had to come down and play Utopia for the boys in the locker room. I had to get them right for the game. Finished and mastered, Mark. You know how we do, Mark. from the clubhouse to the stu.”

Travis Scott has shared no further information about the project. Instead, telling fans to keep a lookout for what’s to come.

As we patiently wait for the release of UTOPIA (please drop it), Travis Scott has been out and about teasing new music as usual. It’s been half a decade since we’ve gotten a new project from La Flame. However, that doesn’t mean Travis hasn’t been busy in the studio. On Saturday, May 6th, the ASTROWORLD rapper performed at E11EVEN nightclub. He performed all of his major hits, along with a few snippets of some new music as well. Travis Scott fans have been fiending for a new album since he announced that he was already working on new music just months after releasing his smash hit ASTROWORLD.

Moreover, Travis Scott’s got an immaculate catalog of albums, singles, and feature tracks that fans can hold themselves over with. However, since the tragic mishap at his second annual ASTROWORLD festival, the Houston native has kept a low profile for the most part. He’s seldom put out music and has made minimal appearances. Although, Travis Scott is not hiding from the world by no means. As he’s eased his way back into the groove of performing and being around people we’ve gotten a lot of snippets of new music from him.

Travis Scott Gifts Fan 5 Grand

In other news, while Travis Scott was performing and previewing new music. A wave of benevolence came over him as he threw $5,000 to a fan in the crowd. The reason was due to it being the fan’s birthday. Now that’s what you call a birthday gift! In the video, La Flame points at the fan and is immediately given massive bricks of cash to toss. He then tosses the five racks to the fan, inciting cheers around the venue. Imagine going clubbing on your birthday and your favorite rapper tosses you five bands?

While there’s still no word on the release of UTOPIA, it’s nice to see Travis out and about. It’s also nice to get a few snippets here and there. Not only that, we’re getting some confirmation that La Flame is cooking up. Whether it’s with other artist or putting out a few singles the 32-year-old has been cryptically keeping us updated on the status of UTOPIA. Travis Scott is one of the biggest artists in the entire world. Overall, his fans have been patiently waiting for his brand-new album, UTOPIA. At this point, no one knows if and when this will ever come out. Although some rumors point to June of this year, there is no guarantee this will happen. However, fans remain optimistic anyway, especially with Travis making more appearances as of late. At this point, fans will simply accept any hint at a new album. Once August hits, it will have been five years since the release of Astroworld.

Additionally, fans have been wondering if Travis Scott would be dropping any interesting sneaker collaborations. Of course, he has already done quite a bit with the likes of Nike and Jordan Brand. Moreover, the Air Jordan 1 Low has been his recent obsession. Although, there have been a ton of rumors claiming that an Air Jordan 7 could also be on the horizon. Now, it seems like Travis is looking to bring back a model from the mid-80s. That offering just so happens to be the Nike Mac Attack.

The Mac Attack was worn by John McEnroe, and it was first released in 1984. According to Complex, Travis Scott had a performance at E11EVEN in Miami on Saturday night, where he repped the Mac Attack. However, the version that Travis was wearing had one immediate quirk to it. Of course, that was the backward swoosh that Scott has made so popular over these last few years. If you love his shoes, you know this look quite well.

For now, there is no word on whether or not this shoe will actually be released. Although, it would be a cool idea for Nike to bring back a sneaker like this. Kylie Jenner has taken a more discreet approach when it comes to her motherhood. Last Year she announced that she and Travis have changed the name of their baby after originally naming him Wolfe Webster. She recently revealed that the is not opposed to having another child. “Whatever happens is meant to happen,” she said. Earlier this year, her breakup with Travis Scott was made public. Confidently, the co-parents revealed they will be maintaining a friendship. She has since been linked to dating the actor Timothée Chalamet. Chalamet is soon to play Willy Wonka in the upcoming film Wonka. The dating rumors first circulated when the pair were spotted together in Paris in January. Sources close to the couple have confirmed that they are causally dating.

Despite her new relationship making waves, Kylie graced the Met Gala red carpet solo. She stunned the red carpet with a red Karl Lagerfeld gown yesterday. This Year’s theme was Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty. The annual star-studded event included major appearances from Ice Spice, Rhianna, Asap Rocky, Teyana Taylor, Keke Palmer, and the Kardashian-Jenner sisters.
