Sampha Shares The Tracklist For His First New Album In 7 Years

Fans of Sampha have been waiting for more music from the R&B critical darling for a LONG time. His last studio album Process dropped all the way back in early 2017. Thankfully fans haven’t had to go that entire time without hearing from the singer. He’s made guest appearances on some pretty major records from rap superstars like Kendrick Lamar, Drake, and Stormzy. But now he’s finally returned with some new music of his own and is sharing details on his new album with fans.

Earlier this year Sampha announced that he had a new studio album on the way, to the delight of many fans. The project is called LAHAI and while it didn’t have an official release date at first, he shared one earlier this month. The project is now officially set for release on October 20. While there was already a tracklist floating around from the original announcement, Apple Music confirmed the features and runtimes of various songs from the album when they shared the full tracklist today. Check out the 14 songs included in the tracklist below.

Nas Reveals Tracklist And Surprise Feature On “Magic 3”

Nas has been on an incredibly prolific run of new music recently. Dating back to 2020 he’s released three King’s Disease albums and two Magic albums all with Hit-Boy serving as the primary producer. Now, he’s returning with a sixth and final project in their series. Fans know it’s the finale because Nas teased it earlier this week. He scared fans who assumed that by “finale” he meant he was retiring. But a few days later he clarified he meant he was ending his series of releases with Hit-Boy with a final Magic album.

It’s a continuation of his prolific run following the previous album in the series Magic 2, which dropped just a few months ago. The project is arriving sooner than you probably expect, coming this weekend. Now, Nas has shared the tracklist for the project and it once again features a pretty significant feature. On Magic 2 he teamed up with 50 Cent for the pair’s first collaboration in over 20 years. For Magic 3 he’s teaming up with Lil Wayne on the track “Never Die.” It’s one of 15 songs included on the album. Check out the entire tracklist below.

Nas And Lil Wayne Team Up On “Magic 3”

Nas and Hit-Boy have dropped 6 albums in a span of 4 years. Dozens of rap legends have been included in the Kings Disease series in particular. Big Sean, Don Toliver, Lil Durk, Lauryn Hill, Eminem, YG, and many more have joined Nas and Hit-Boy on the records. The third edition of Kings Disease III was delivered without any features and handled vocally entirely by Nas.

On top of his new album, Nas has also released a series of music videos for tracks from Magic 2. Both “Motion” and “Black Magic” have received visuals of their own in the months since the project was released. What do you think of the tracklist for Nas and Hit-Boy’s upcoming new album Magic 3? Doja Cat Drops “Scarlet” Tracklist, Fans React

The final piece to the puzzle for Doja Cat’s fourth studio album, Scarlet, is finally here. The 27-year-old recording artist has just given her fans and followers the official tracklist for the project. This may or may not be a surprise for some people, but what you will notice is that there are no features anywhere. Some fans are guessing that there will be hidden features on here, so we will have to wait to hear the album. However, some are saying there will be none, period. Listening day will tell us all we need to know, but for now, here is what we know.

The tracklist stands at 15 songs, which is usually a smart recipe. Many music fans like to say that the magic number for great albums is right around 13-15 tracks long, so we will see if Scarlet can live up to that metric. Additionally, you will see that three familiar song titles land on the LP. Those of course are the three lead singles Doja has released. “Attention,” “Paint The Town Red,” and “Demons,” all make the final cut, which was to be expected.

Doja Cat Shares “Scarlet” Tracklist, Album Has “No Features”

Doja Cat’s new album Scarlet is scheduled to drop later this month. She’s following up her hit-packed 2021 album Planet Her with a project she’s been teasing for years. With the ongoing name changes and a brief album cover controversy firmly behind her, Doja is ready to move into her new era. She’s been slowly rolling out bits and pieces of information about the project across the past few weeks and earlier today she shared a big one.

“no features,” she captioned a new Instagram post. In the attached images she shares a selfie and the official tracklist of the album. As you’d expect the 15 tracks don’t appear to contain any features but they do have the three songs she’s released in the past few months. The second and third singles “Paint The Town Red” and “Demons” are the first two songs in the tracklist starting the record off. Its lead single “Attention” shows up way later as the album’s 14th song. Something that is grabbing plenty of attention in the post is one particularly NSFW song title occupying the third spot on the record. Check out the full tracklist below.

A post shared by Doja Cat (@dojacat)

Earlier this week Doja Cat got another reason to celebrate. Her second single “Paint The Town Red” hit number one making it the first rap song to top the charts since Nicki Minaj’s “Super Freaky Girl” last year. It also marked Doja’s first time topping the chart as a solo artist and her second overall. The first time she hit number one was with Nicki Minaj on their remix of Doja’s viral hit “Say So.”

Doja took to Instagram earlier today to celebrate the news of her new number-one hit in typical Doja fashion. She posted a random, surreal, and NSFW series of pictures for fans to pour through. What do you think of Doja Cat’s new album having no features? Let us know in the comment section below.

J. Cole To Appear On Burna Boy’s New Album “I Told Them,” Tracklist Revealed

Burna Boy’s new album I Told Them… is coming out this week, and now that the tracklist is out, fans are even more excited. Moreover, the full breakdown includes previous singles like “Big 7” and confirmation that his 21 S*vage collab will appear on the project. However, this news also brought us plenty of surprises through the list of features on it, which boasts some impressive names. There’s his Byron Messia collab “Talibans II,” a song with Seyi Vibez, and a guest appearance from Dave on the track “Cheat On Me.” But the feature that got fans really excited (especially hip-hop heads) is none other than Dreamville’s own J. Cole.

Furthermore, there’s even some audio floating around that seems to be a snippet of their new collaboration, a track called “Thanks.” In it, you can mostly hear Burna Boy singing over some glistening guitars, whereas J. Cole provides some ethereal ad-libs like his classic “Cole world.” Accompanied by footage of the two talking, this really ramped up anticipation for I Told Them…, as these two have never put out a song together. We expect nothing less than a great verse from the North Carolina MC that will compellingly compliment the Nigerian superstar’s performance.

Preview Of New Burna Boy & J. Cole Collab

Amid the afrobeats and dancehall artist’s sold-out shows and successful singles, his new record is poised to dominate the industry as his others have. In addition, it’s important to note that these are only a few collaborations, so Burna Boy set himself up to carry a lot of the weight on I Told Them… alone. No doubt he will deliver on that goal, and it’s also heartening to see that this isn’t a hodgepodge of different voices and approaches. What remains to be seen is if there’s a particular sonic approach on this album that differ from the 32-year-old’s past work.

I Told Them… Tracklist

Meanwhile, Cole brought us this feature in August along with his production work on Mike WiLL Made-It and Lil Uzi Vert’s new single, “Blood Moon.” As such, there will be a lot of greatness to digest from the skilled lyricist and beatmaker. Hearing him in this zone will be a treat to witness, so make sure you tune in this Friday. For more news and the latest updates on J. Cole and Burna Boy, come back to HNHH.

Doja Cat’s “Scarlet”: New Reports Hint At Album Length & Tracklist Size

Doja Cat’s upcoming album Scarlet will arrive amid massive hype concerning new sounds, a strained fanbase relationship, and two excellent singles in “Attention” and “Paint The Town Red.” Moreover, new reports online hinted at the tracklist’s size and the overall project’s length, though they are unconfirmed as of writing this article. According to Pop Tingz, the 27-year-old’s latest full-length effort will contain 20 tracks, totaling 55 minutes in length. Furthermore, this means that there would be an average track length of almost three minutes, which the two singles already broke. As such, there will probably be plenty of surprises and variety across the LP, and we’d expect no less from the superstar.

“This new album is more introspective, but I’m not leaning so hard into that to where it becomes boring,” Doja Cat told Harper’s Bazaar in an interview. “So I want to give stories and bops. It’s a nice mixture of both. I think this project is a really fun canvas for me to play with my rap skills and talk about what’s going on in my life. But I’m not abandoning who I was and what I know about pop and singing and that aspect of music.”

Doja Cat’s Rumored New Album Updates

However, we still don’t know when Scarlet (one of plenty of working titles the Los Angeles native cycled through during this rollout) will come out. Considering that, these new reports on the tracklist are cool to hear, but it looks like it’ll still be a relative surprise drop. Maybe fans will wake up one day and the album will just be out, or Doja Cat is waiting to drop the release date and extend this promo cycle even more. Either way, with a lot of anticipation, controversy, and media attention behind Scarlet, it’s sure to make a huge impact.

Meanwhile, it seems like the “Tia Tamera” MC might move on to other things after this album drops. Recently, she expressed a desire to star in comedy and action films, putting her music career on the back burner for some screen time. With her creativity and versatility in mind, no doubt it could make for some great moments. On that note, come back to HNHH for the latest news and updates on Doja Cat.

Nicki Minaj Shuts Down Rumors Of Tupac Sample On “Pink Friday 2”

Nicki Minaj struck down claims that she sampled Tupac on her upcoming album. With Pink Friday 2 set to release on Nov. 17th, marking Nicki’s first album in five years, the Queen Of Rap has been previewing new music online. However, the highly-anticipated project has also been subject to much speculation and rumors. One fan page took to Twitter to allege that she sampled an iconic Tupac song for the project. “Nicki Minaj samples Tupac’s ‘Picture Me Rollin” in new untitled track on her upcoming album Pink Friday 2,” the tweet reads.

The Pink Friday rapper is undoubtedly among the most vocal artists on social media, frequently interacting with the Barbz and setting records straight when needed. Unfortunately, it doesn’t seem as though we’ll be hearing Nicki rap over the iconic sample as she shut down the rumors on Twitter shortly after the claims emerged. “No tf I did not,” Nicki wrote in response. Still, the fan, who tweets under the handle @NickiMinajAccess, celebrated the acknowledgment from Nicki as a win.

Nicki Minaj Prepares For Pink Friday 2

In the past year and a half, Nicki’s unloaded a handful of singles that indicate where she might be heading creatively on her next opus. Last year, she linked up with Lil Baby on “Do We Have A Problem?” followed by the Fivio Foreign-assisted, “We Go Up.” Then, she dominated summer 2022 with the release of “Super Freaky Girl,” which topped the Billboard Hot 100. Most recently, she unveiled the single, “Red Ruby Da Sleeze” as a teaser for what’s to come.

Earlier this week, Nicki dropped off a snippet of new music earlier this week. The R&B-infused record gained significant traction online, propelling Pink Friday 2 into one of the biggest trending topics on Twitter. Hopefully, a new single arrives before the month comes to an end. Fans definitely deserve some new heat from Nicki to ride out to for the final weeks of the summer. King Von’s “Grandson” Album Gets Tracklist Reveal Via New York City Billboards

King Von’s upcoming posthumous album Grandson may be a strong point of anticipation for fans, but to be fair, many of them also felt skeptical of a release beyond his lifetime. That being said, most of his fanbase thinks that regardless, this will be a well-curated and respectful homage to Von’s vision and artistry. After all, his team and estate took some time between his death, his first posthumous release, 2022’s What It Means To Be King, and this new project. What’s more is that, now that we have Grandson‘s official tracklist, hype for it came more naturally. Moreover, the album contains 17 tracks and a welcome list of featured guests.

Furthermore, these include Polo G on “Phil Jackson,” Lil Durk on “From the Hood,” G Herbo on “Real Oppy,” and 42 Dugg on “GangLand.” Other notable new features are Moneybagg Yo and Hotboii on “Out Of The Streets” and BreezyLyn and Tink on “Jealous.” Not only that, but Spotify revealed the tracklist through various billboards (including Times Square in New York City) and through digital means. Elsewhere, solo King Von cuts like “Pressure,” “Jimmy,” “All We Do Is Drill,” “When I Die,” and “Family Dedication 2” hold a lot of promise just based off their titles.

King Von’s Grandson: Tracklist Reveal

Of course, this is far from the first we’ve heard from the Chicago rapper’s next full-length release. Previously, we caught his solo track “Robberies” as a single, which continued to show his depth as a hardened and gritty storyteller. In addition, there’s also the very recent release of the song “Heartless” with Tee Grizzley, who matches King Von’s energy quite well. With these teasers in mind, this is shaping up to be a very solid offering from the late and legendary MC.

Meanwhile, even though that skepticism is there concerning the posthumous Grandson, it all comes down to the execution. As such, there’s a unique, somber and tragic form of pressure on this album to deliver and do right by his memory. But the artist’s skill and talent speaks for itself, and will likely be quite amplified and projected on Grandson. Regardless, check out the for more news and the latest updates on King Von, come back to HNHH.

Lil Tjay Unveils “222” Tracklist

Amid a slew of new releases and what’s shaping up to be a hot new hip-hop summer, Lil Tjay is throwing his hat into the ring at the top. Moreover, his next and very anticipated project, which has been two years in the making, is 222, and it drops on Friday (July 14). Not only that, but today he released a new single for the project, “Project Walls,” featuring none other than NBA YoungBoy. With this hype in mind, the New York rapper added another layer to it by revealing the album’s tracklist and features, as well. Furthermore, his first album since his near-fatal 2022 shooting is shaping up to be an impactful return statement with some big names.

In addition to YB, there are plenty of other features here to talk about, including ones that may seem like surprises to non-fans. For one, the legendary Jadakiss shows up on the track “Hole In My Heart,” which will surely make for one of the cuts people look forward to the most. In addition, the cut “Bla Bla” features Fivio Foreign, so there’s probably another NYC drill banger on the way. Also, Summer Walker, The Kid LAROI, Coco Jones, and Polo G make appearances across Lil Tjay’s 222, which contains 15 tracks.

Lil Tjay’s 222‘s Tracklist

Considering that a lot of people like to complain about long trackless these days, 222 is looking like a concise and tight offering. That being said, Lil Tjay has done so much in these past few years despite his circumstances that one wouldn’t be surprised if he fits 30 tracks of his experiences. Of course, that’s translated a little more into luxury as the 22-year-old developed his career. For example, he recently had a fantastic time at Paris Fashion Week, popping up seemingly everywhere.

Meanwhile, Tjay’s last project, Destined 2 Win, came out two years ago, so fans have been waiting for a while.
