Tiffany Haddish Tearfully Defends Israel Trip

Tiffany Haddish has tearfully defended her trip to Israel in a live interview from the Middle Eastern nation with TMZ. Haddish spoke at length about the ongoing hostage crisis surrounding civilians taken in Hamas’ initial incursion into Southern Israel last October. However, Haddish, despite veering into the territory of IDF propaganda, insisted that she also cared about the plight of the embattled Palestinian population. At the time of writing, over 30,000 Palestinians have been killed as Israel has continually vowed to leave nothing but dust in the face of international calls that they are perpetuating a genocide.

Furthermore, Haddish also addressed the jokes she had recorded and published online during her flight to Israel. Even pro-Israel advocates were dismayed that Haddish had joked that she was on her way to “find a man” in Israel. Haddish doubled down, praising herself for doing something that most other single women wouldn’t dare to do. Additionally, Haddish attempted to draw sympathy from TMZs viewers by claiming she was “all alone” in the world.

Tiffany Haddish Addresses Katt Williams In New Stand Up Set

Meanwhile, Haddish has been in the news a lot lately. Most recently, Haddish was responding to the shots Katt Williams took at her in this Club Shay Shay interview. Haddish made reference to Katt Williams in her latest stand-up set, after Williams implied that she was an industry plant whom Kevin Hart “opened the gate for”. “At the Comedy Store, they wouldn’t let me perform at the white nights but I performed at all the Black nights,” Haddish told a hyped-up audience in January.

Haddish previously addressed Williams’ explosive appearance on Club Shay Shay, taking to Instagram soon after the interview dropped. “I am not mad I just wish he would get his facts right about me,” she wrote. “Dang I guess I will send him a reminder text. But are we sure that is Katt Williams? He looks a lot like Charleston White,” Haddish wrote on Instagram. It’s a similar response that she previously gave to Williams in 2020. In that instance, he implied she was only famous because she slept with white men.

Kanye West Sports New Face Mask At Pro Soccer Game In Italy

For a while now one of Kanye West’s hallmarks has been sporting masks to hide his identity while in public. That began with ski mask style full coverage mask which he reportedly designed himself and came with a variety of different colors. More recently he’s popped up sporting a horror movie style hockey mask. The masks haven’t done a great job at hiding his identity given how identifiable of a feature they’ve become.

Regardless, he’s continued sporting face coverings and even debuted a brand new one at a soccer game earlier this week. West is currently in Italy where he has two planned listening parties for his new album with Ty Dolla $ign Vultures later this week. While there he decided to stop by a pro soccer game where fans got a look at his newest ski mask style face covering. This one came with an eye window for West to see through and he wore it with a dark hoodie over top. Check out some of the pictures of him in attendance below.

Kanye West Pop Up In New Mask In Italy

Despite all the controversy, Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign’s new album garnered quite a bit of attention. VULTURES 1 just debuted at the number one spot on the Billboard 200 and the entire tracklist of the project landed on the Hot 100. That included “Carnival” which soared all the way to a number 3 debut.

Despite the big success of the album, Ty and Kanye don’t seem particularly excited about the numbers. After an entire week of claiming the album was #1 in dozens of countries, he had a pretty brief reaction to learning that it actually topped the Billboard 200 albums chart. Beyonce’s Producer Hints At “Shocking” Collaborations On New Country Album

One of Beyonce’s producers, Killah B, says that the legendary singer has “shocking” collaborations planned for her new country album. While he didn’t go into specifics when discussing the project with TMZ, he did say big things are in store.

When the outlet asked him specifically about working with Taylor Swift, he responded: “Let’s just say, she’s on the approach of shocking the world.” The comments come after Beyonce dropped the new tracks, “TEXAS HOLD ‘EM,” and “16 CARRIAGES,” following the Super Bowl. Killah B has production credits on the former of the two.

Back in October, Taylor Swift shared a tribute to Beyonce on Instagram. The two attended each other’s premieres for The Eras Tour The Movie and Renaissance: A Film By Beyoncé. “I’m so glad I’ll never know what my life would’ve been like without @beyonce‘s influence,” she wrote. “The way she’s taught me and every artist out here to break rules and defy industry norms. Her generosity of spirit. Her resilience and versatility. She’s been a guiding light throughout my career and the fact that she showed up tonight was like an actual fairytale.”

Not everyone is excited by the idea of Beyonce venturing into country music. Azealia Banks recently remarked that she’s going to be “ridiculed” for the decision. “Nothing country about it,” Banks wrote on her Instagram Story. “You’re setting yourself up to be ridiculed again. There’s a theatrical element to country music. Them critics are not just going to accept an ugly blond wig and bullying from Jay-Z. It’s giving big-time musical grift. Kanye West Confesses He Almost Went Bankrupt Last Year

Like many celebrities, Kanye West spent the weekend in Las Vegas for the Super Bowl. While there he was spotted in an Alexander McQueen mask depicting Jesus on the cross and may have even been kicked out of the big game itself. But more importantly, he dropped Vultures 1, his new collaborative album with Ty Dolla $ign. After months of teasing, delayed release dates and multiple listening parties the album finally made it’s way to an official release.

Earlier this week, Kanye West returned to LA where he caught up with TMZ. In the most particularly attention-grabbing moment of the interview, West explained how he “can’t be canceled” and that he can’t be antisemitic. But that wasn’t the only surprising revelation he made during the brief conversation. “I’ma just be honest with y’all: I was two months from going bankrupt and I put everything I had into it and we moved to Italy. We moved to the factories and we survived. We survived through the cancellation, we back No. 1.” All weekend West has been claiming that his album is “number one” in dozens of countries despite no official confirmation of that. Vultures 1 has been getting mixed reactions from fans and critics. Some are impressed by the album’s more experimental ambitions absolutely stacked list of features. Others criticized the record for seemingly being unfinished and for some of the more controversial lyrics West delivers.

While at the Super Bowl itself, West also paid for a TV spot for fans watching at home. In the 30 second clip, West records himself on his phone doing a very DIY advertisement for his YEEZY shoes. Despite the contrast between it and most of the high-gloss professional Super Bowl ads, West claims to have made quite a bit of money off the spot. Kanye West Dodges Palestine Question: “I Don’t Have Enough Information”

Kanye West says he doesn’t have an opinion on the conflict between Israel and Palestine and is more focused on the violence in his hometown of Chicago. West avoided speaking out in support of Palestine when asked about the topic during an interview with TMZ at LAX.

“I don’t have enough information on that,” Ye told the outlet. “I’m a straight up n***a from the Southside of Chicago, born in Atlanta, I don’t have enough information. It’s love for everybody. But don’t pull me into that conversation. I got 14 kids dying every week in my city. So talk to me about that.”

Despite Ye’s lack of a stance, many other artists in hip-hop have voiced their support for Palestine in recent months. West’s former collaborator, Kid Cudi, wrote that he can’t remain silent back in November. “I can’t watch what’s happening in the world and remain silent,” Cudi said in part at the time. “I can’t imagine the pain people are feeling. Seeing their entire neighborhoods bombed, losing generations of family members, parents crying over their children’s lifeless bodies, communities turning into mass graves, people digging through rubble of their homes in hopes of finding remains of their loved ones.”

Elsewhere in his interview with TMZ, West discussed his past antisemitic remarks, being canceled, and much more. His comments come after Israel rejected Hamas’ cease-fire plan, last week, and committed an attack on Rafah, the city where Israel had previously told Gazans they would be safe. According to NPR, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu remarked that peace could only be achieved through a “total victory” against Hamas. Usher Gets A Marriage License While In Las Vegas

In case you didn’t know, Usher was in Las Vegas this weekend. The R&B legend took one of the biggest stages in music on Sunday when he performed during the Super Bowl halftime show. He unpacked a series of hits during a 13-minute show right in the middle of an exciting football game. After his performance the Kansas City Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers played an exciting second half that even went into overtime. Chiefs fans and Swifties alike celebrated when the team scored an overtime touchdown to win the game.

But Usher himself had a pretty busy weekend. It started off with the release of his new album Coming Home on Friday. The project represented his first new release since 2018 and his first new solo project since 2016. He’s also taking it on tour later this year and has been dropping more and more tour dates throughout the weekend. Unfortunately for fans trying to get a hold of tickets, Ticketmaster seemingly had a rough time handling the drop. Fans were met with long queues, sold out tickets, and exorbitant prices while trying to secure their spot to see the “Yeah” hitmaker. Despite his busy schedule, he managed to find some time to get himself a marriage license.

Usher Secures Marriage License For Himself and Girlfriend

As TMZ reports, Usher used some of his time in Las Vegas to secure a marriage license for himself and his girlfriend Jennifer Goicoechea. The R&B singer has walked down the aisle twice before and he may be in for a third soon. As they note, the license hasn’t been approved yet but it’s a pretty significant clue that things could be progressing rapidly.

Usher’s halftime show performance ended up being a star-studded affair. Alicia Keys, Lil Jon, Ludacris, and more appeared to sing and rap some of their biggest hits with the R&B legend. Alicia Keys Will Reportedly Join Usher For Super Bowl Halftime Show

Usher is currently gearing up to headline the Super Bowl Halftime Show, and supporters can’t wait to see what he’s come up with. He’s already confirmed that various special guests will be joining him for the eagerly-anticipated show. He’s even teaming up with Ludacris and Lil Jon to perform their 2004 hit, “Yeah!” Now, a source has chatted with TMZ, claiming that they saw Usher rehearsing with none other than Alicia Keys.

For obvious reasons, fans speculate that they’ll perform their Confessions collab “My Boo,” though this is not yet confirmed. It’s also unclear at which point in the show Keys will join Usher, as he’s rumored to have various other special guests lined up. Usher’s set is also 15 minutes long, two more minutes than what’s typically allotted.

Earlier today, TMZ also reported that a source with inside information told them Usher’s been in talks with Justin Bieber. According to them, Usher reached out to JB to ask him if he was interested in performing during the show. It’s unclear whether or not he plans on it, but the source claimed they communicated directly.

As for Usher, he couldn’t be more excited for the show. He is feeling some pressure to make sure everything goes off without a hitch, however. “It has to be perfect,” he told Vogue last month. “I’ve been doing this for 30 years. Lil Jon Announces Guided Meditation Album

If Lil Jon’s career is defined by anything, it’s energy. From his shouted demeanor to his infectious adlibs almost everything he’s done in his career so far is about getting hype. But that could change later this month when he pivots to a VERY different kind of project. According to TMZ, the rapper is working on a guided meditation album. They report that Jon has been focusing on wellness and physical fitness in his personal life for a while now. As a result, he’s aiming to spread those good vibes to others through his new music.

While they don’t confirm a name for the upcoming project there are some more details available. The album will reportedly have 10 tracks and fans will get the chance to hear it on February 16. As TMZ notes, the timing doesn’t seem entirely coincidental. This weekend Usher will perform during the Super Bowl Halftime Show, prior to which he’ll release a new album of his own. Many have suspected the Usher will play one of the biggest hits of his career, “Yeah!” The song features both Lil Jon and Ludacris and MANY fans have suspected that the pair could make a surprise appearance.

Lil Jon’s Surprising New Direction

Lil Jon’s pivot from his more familiar genre of rap music into something entirely different reminds fans of another recent surprise. Last year Andre 3000 returned with his debut solo album. But to the surprise of many, the album he announced was an ambient jazz project with “no bars.” And when the project was released it lived up to that promise. The project is made up of long ambient compositions predominately featuring 3k playing his flute.

Consequence Shares Kanye West Texts About Turning Down TMZ Documentary

Earlier this week, TMZ released a new documentary to the world called Kanye West: Unhinged But Unstoppable. The documentary sought to dig into the rapper’s antisemitic comments over the past two years that led to numerous brands completely cutting ties with him. But they also want to investigate why he’s maintained a surprising amount of respect and admiration from many fellow celebrities in the wake of those outbursts. While many fans are still watching and processing the documentary, Consequence revealed that he was asked to be included in it and declined.

In a new tweet, Consequence announced that TMZ wanted to talk to him for the doc. He turned them down and explained why he made that choice. “Loyalty over Royalties I was approached by. @TMZ to be featured in their special “Kanye West: Unhinged but Unstoppable.” I myself have had great interactions with Harvey and Charles but anyone who really knows YE would know that he would feel leveraged and exploited by this move even if you’re speaking on him in a positive light. In the text included Consequence informs Kanye of what’s going on. “TMZ had hit me up about a doc they’re doing on you and asked me to participate. I told them I pass because I’m sure this isn’t something you’d want out without authorization, especially after Netflix,” his text said. Kanye’s response simply said, “That’s love.”

West’s new album Vultures is right around the corner and he’s hosting a listening party in Chicago later this week. Lizzo’s Inclusion At The Grammys Slammed By Her Accusers

This year’s Grammy ceremony took place over the weekend and featured a number of interesting moments. Jay-Z accepted a special award but used his platform to attack the Academy itself. Killer Mike won three awards during the pre show before being arrested backstage and led out in handcuffs. Fans of artists like Lana Del Rey and Nicki Minaj criticized the Grammys online as their career-long snubs continued.

Another surprising moment centered around Lizzo. She’s no stranger to the Grammys as she took home an award for her song “About Damn Time” last year. She also performed the track during last year’s ceremony. In that sense, it’s not a huge surprise that she was present at this year’s awards. What’s more surprising is that she was picked to be directly involved in the proceedings. She gave out one of the night’s awards which immediately struck many as a strange choice. She’s still very much in hot water after being accused of a variety of bad behaviors by numerous former backup dancers in a lawsuit last year.

Lizzo’s Accusers Slam Grammy Inclusion

Following her presentation of the Best R&B Song award a representative of multiple accusers from the initial lawsuit spoke out. Neama Rahmani spoke to TMZ about Lizzo’s inclusion. He criticized the decision and claimed that the Academy wasn’t taking the allegations made against her seriously. He said that if elements like her race and gender were different she would never be given the platform.

Rahmani also insists that the truth behind the lawsuit will eventually come out and that they’re still fighting for the stories of her backup dancers to be told. Earlier this week, the lawsuit was amended. A number of the allegations included in the original suit were removed by the judge.
