Bella’s rise to fame can be traced back to her TikTok account, which she created in early 2020. Initially, her content revolved around gaming and cosplay. Keith Lee Praises Cardi B After The Pair Collab

Former MMA fighter and viral TikTok food critic Keith Lee had nothing but praise for Cardi B after the pair collabed. “She is exactly who she says she is,” Lee stated on a livestream after being asked for his thoughts on Cardi. Earlier this week, the pair tried out a collection of burgers together and appeared to have a great time doing it. Did you enjoy the pair’s collab? Let us know in the comments.

As mentioned, Lee began his career as an MMA fighter. However, he quickly transitioned to food content on social media. His honest reviews of food, especially soul food in the American South, quickly went viral on TikTok. However, not everyone is a fan of Lee’s work. Restaurants often beef with him if he doesn’t like their food. There is no better example of this than Atlanta’s Milk & Honey, whose beef with Lee became a bizarre, unmissable saga online.

Keith Lee Feuds With Chad Johnson

Another person who Lee didn’t get along with was former NFLer Chad Johnson. Lee responded to Johnson after he expressed his disdain for Lee’s review content. “You must have never heard of me, but if you have heard of me, why is this your first time speaking on me? Why haven’t you spoken about the positive things we’ve done with this platform?” the former MMA fighter asked the retired wide receiver. Lee went on to cite examples such as helping fund cancer treatment for one restaurant owner and helping a schoolteacher retire.

However, Lee even had backup – from Johnson’s own daughter no less. “Listen, we team Keith Lee over here,” Johnson claimed his daughter had texted him. “My daughter got on my head about this. And when your daughter get you on about something like this, you know you never gonna win,” Johnson continued. Other famous daughters have also gone after Johnson. A TikTok from the daughter of Jalen Rose has garnered hundreds of thousands of views.

Cardi B Begs Fans To Stop Making Her Sing The New Beyonce Country Song

TikTok Live has become an increasingly common platform for rappers to interact with their fans. After the NPC drama surrounding people making money on the platform broke last year, it inspired a ton of interest in livestreaming on the platform. NLE Choppa became one of the first rappers to stream on TikTok when he tried his hand at an NPC stream. Now Cardi B regularly hops on live to talk to her fans and funny moments almost always emerge.

One of the features of TikTok Live that makes the platform unique is its filters. While almost every streaming platform can alter your appearance, TikTok Live allowed fans to pay for certain filters to be put on a streamer. That was the case when fans repeatedly paid for a cowboy hat and mustache filter over Cardi during one of her recent livestreams. When the filter came on, Cardi couldn’t help but sing the recently released Beyonce hit “TEXAS HOLD EM’” which has a distinct country twang to it. The funny part came when she kept singing it every single time the filter was paid for. Eventually when it started to get ridiculous she had to demand her fans stop paying for it. Check out the hilarious full clip below.

Ryan Garcia Breaks Down Into Tears Discussing God In An Emotional TikTok

Ryan Garcia broke down into tears in a candid post on TikTok, on Monday afternoon, while discussing his fan base and his relationship with God. Hillsong UNITED’s “Oceans (Where Feet May Fail)” plays in the background of the clip. The video comes ahead of his fight with Devin Haney.

“I love you guys. I hope you feel my love. I might cry,” Garcia began. “I might cry… but only because of the Holy Spirit and the love I feel right now. I don’t want to cry but I’m going to cry. I love God so much and I just felt that in my heart. I felt that in my soul. I’ve been going through a lot lately, I’ve been feeling a lot of hurt because I tried myself, I tried my hardest to share all the love that he gave me and I tried to help out the kids. I tried my best and everybody tried to break me down. They tried to make me stop, they tried to cancel my fight and I was trying to do something good.”

He continued: “I put everything on the line and they judge me hard but I kept going. I’m strong. People can say that I cried and what not and they think it’s a problem. Well, come see me… I just want to show you that I love you guys and I appreciate every one of you.” When one account on social media shared the TikTok while implying Garcia is mentally unwell, the fighter fired back: “Those who know the Holy Spirit will make a grown man cry. I was worshipping God on my TikTok live with my community. I love God and you titled this as if I was crying due to mental instability. I find it distasteful, and disrespectful to my beliefs. But again get your clicks and views.” Check out the TikTok below.

Cardi B Goes Live With A Fan On TikTok By Accident: Watch Their Humorous Reactions

Cardi B is a social media darling, amassing a huge Bardi Gang movement across her platforms and interacting with them on occasion. However, she much rather prefers these crossovers when she has more control of the environment or of her actions, and a recent TikTok livestream did not really provide either. Moreover, the “Enough (Miami)” star accidentally went live with a fan who watched her livestream, and she obviously expressed shock when she appeared alongside her. “Who the f**k are you?!” Cardi exclaimed as her video feed started cutting out, whereas the female fan asked “Is this true?!” and took a screenshot of the occasion with a wide smile of disbelief.

Furthermore, we’re sure that this wasn’t exactly in the Bronx MC’s plans, but it’s still great that the fan could share at least a small moment with her, however accidental. However, a lot of fans started to complain in the comments section about how the “Never Lose Me” collaborator didn’t even acknowledge the fan. While this is an understandable conclusion, Cardi B is also a megastar who probably deals with a lot of people trying to get closer to her without really knowing her. As such, we understand that she would be immediately wary of interacting with people with little context, especially on online platforms.

Elsewhere, some of Cardi B’s other fan interactions have to do with her supporters (or haters) disagreeing with her. For example, she recently went back and forth on TikTok concerning a fan’s criticism of her comments about relationships needing a 50/50 financial split. “But, this wasn’t about me…” the 31-year-old shared. “Sooo, you saw my life but you ain’t saw the part about my parents? Or the part if you both college students, will y’all split the bill?” “Also I never had to hold Offset down… HE ALWAYS BEEN RICH,” she added in another comment.

Meanwhile, as “Bodak Yellow” recently reached a huge YouTube milestone, Cardi’s firing on all cylinders for this album rollout. Hopefully her future efforts to hype it up with fans don’t result in accidental interactions, but rather purposeful ones. There’s no fanbase in the world that wouldn’t appreciate five seconds of their fav’s time, even if they’re under no obligation to oblige. Cardi B Beefs With TikToker Over 50/50 Relationship Advice, Says Offset’s “ALWAYS BEEN RICH”

It’s become evident that drama in any capacity leaves Cardi B feeling stressed out. Still, she’s never had a problem calling out internet trolls and people challenging her beliefs. Most recently, tension has been stirring around the topic of equal partnerships, or both people splitting expenses 50/50. After Cardi spoke out saying she’s all for finding balance within unions, social media users who felt differently began lashing out, particularly noting that her tumultuous past with her husband, Offset, is enough for some not to take her opinion seriously.

“Cardi B trying to give us relationship advice is CR*ZY,” one TikToker wrote earlier this week. “(Also, retire the 50/50 argument),” they added. When she came across the Gen-Z user’s rant, the “I Like It” hitmaker had plenty to say. “But, this wasn’t about me,” Cardi wrote. “Sooo, you saw my life but you ain’t saw the part about my parents? Or the part if you both college students, will y’all split the bill?” the femcee asked beneath the OP. “Like, I’m sorry, but I’m not taking relationship advice from you,” they doubled down on their take. “Loved y’all at Rolling Loud last year though 😂🥳.”

Cardi still had more to say, dropping off another comment to clarify that she “never had to hold Offset down,” because “HE ALWAYS BEEN RICH 😂.” Rather than congratulate her, the creator replied, “Ma’am, at this point [just] drop the album.”

It’s no wonder that Cardi B isn’t too worried about splitting bills with her man, especially considering the continued success of her discography and other creative endeavours. Years after delivering the provocative visual for “Bodak Yellow,” it hit a massive milestone on YouTube, proving that the former stripper still has juice in the rap game. Why Does TikTok Still Have Ariana Grande and Other Universal Music Artists Even Though There’s a Standoff With the Label?

black content creators

If you or your kids use TikTok, don’t feel bad because pretty much every social media user does; then you may have noticed a lack of certain music from your favorite artists on the platform. There’s a standoff regarding royalty payments and AI policies. Variety reports that it has “resulted in a near-complete blackout of all music owned, distributed, and published by the company on the platform.” Now get this: the videos are still on and popping on the platform, but the actual music is being muted – yikes.

Now it gets murky because new songs from UMG artists, like stars Ariana Grande, Camila Cabello, and Niall Horan, can still be discovered on TikTok as of yesterday, but what is the reason is the real question? Variety didn’t have any comment from reps at UMG and TikTok, who both declined.

So, if you don’t know how the whole music on TikTok thing works, it goes like this, as Variety reports: Rights-holders, such as record labels, are not the only way music can be uploaded onto TikTok. Pretty much anyone uploads music and displays it as “original sound” on a user’s post. Then, said sound can be used by virtually anyone on TikTok, including artists. Once that music is on the platform, the rights-holders lose control over the content, and all they can do is send off takedown notices and other notifications via legal means. So it falls on TikTok to follow through by detecting, policing and muting the unauthorized music floating around on its platform. Are you exhausted from that rundown? We are.

Even though reps from the label declined to comment to Variety, UMG spoke on the situation broadly. They’re, in essence, directing fault to TikTok’s detection software. They dropped a letter to artists breaking down the ban. “TikTok makes little effort to deal with the vast amounts of content on its platform that infringe our artists’ music and it has offered no meaningful solutions to the rising tide of content adjacency issues, let alone the tidal wave of hate speech, bigotry, bullying and harassment on the platform,” from an excerpt of the letter. “The only means available to seek the removal of infringing or problematic content (such as pornographic deepfakes of artists) is through the monumentally cumbersome and inefficient process which equates to the digital equivalent of ‘Whack-a-Mole.’ … We will always fight for our artists and songwriters and stand up for the creative and commercial value of music.” It seems like this is not going to end soon.

“Vultures 2” Tracks Appear On TikTok & Instagram As Fans Await Kanye West & Ty Dolla Sign’s Album

When Kanye West delivers an album release date at this point in his career, few hip-hop heads are inclined to believe it. The father of four is notorious for hitting fans with delays, some of them even spanning months. We saw it with the original Vultures LP, which was set to arrive in late 2023 but didn’t actually debut until February 10. The follow-up to that controversial project is expected to land this month, but as HipHopDX reports, there’s some confusion about whether that will really happen.

Ye has already made it clear that Vultures 2 won’t be available on streaming. Instead, he and his collaborators plan to sell the album online for $20 a piece – double the usual price. As we curiously wait to see if we’ll be able to purchase Ty Dolla and West’s work this New Music Friday (March 15), fans have noticed several titles from the tracklist appearing on platforms like Instagram and TikTok.

Will Vultures 2 Be Dropping Tonight?

“River,” which features Young Thug and singer Leon Bridges has made it onto various apps, along with Future’s appearance on “Promotion.” Elsewhere, versions of “Slide” with James Blake and the rumoured Playboi Carti collab, “Field Trip,” which also includes Kodak Black, Lil Durk, and Don Toliver. According to @YeFanatics on Twitter/X, insiders are now saying these are “ripped audio” recordings, and could lead to delays in the official release of Vultures.

His work on Vultures 2 is certainly taking up a lot of Kanye West’s time right now, but he’s still making sure to put his family first. Earlier this week, the Yeezy founder and his firstborn, North, confirmed that her debut album is on the way, and it takes inspiration from one of her father’s classic releases. Read all about that at the link below, and let us know if you think Ye and Ty Dolla Sign will be dropping this weekend in the comments.

“TikTok Ban” Bill Sparks US Interest In Buying Popular App

A US group led by former Treasury Secretary Steve Mnuchin has announced their intention to mount a bid to buy TikTok. Mnuchin revealed the plan while appearing on CNBC’s Squawk Box. Mnuchin, who gained notoriety for his OneWestBank firm during the 2008 recession, was one of the few cabinet secretaries to see out Donald Trump‘s entire term in office.

The news comes a day after a bipartisan bill that could see TikTok banned in the United States passed the US House of Representatives by a vote of 325-65. The Protecting Americans from Foreign Adversary Controlled Applications Act would demand that TikTok divest from its Chinese parent company. If the company refused, the app would become unavailable in the United States. The bill was proposed on the basis of protecting the data of American users from the Chinese. However, many opponents have labeled the bill as Sinophobic fearmongering.

TikTok Ban Faces Tough Senate Fight

However, the popular short-form video app is safe for the time being. The bill must now pass the Senate, where there is much less clear-cut support for the legislation. A spokesperson for Tiktok has already urged senators to reject the bill. “This process was secret and the bill was jammed through for one reason: It’s a ban. We are hopeful the Senate will consider the facts, listen to their constituents, and realize the impact on the economy. Seven million small businesses and 170 million Americans use our service,” the spokesperson told the BBC. A vote has not yet been tabled for the bill.

TikTok is currently owned by Chinese firm ByteDance. However, the bill has been mired in controversy. The sinophobia claims were at their highest during the Congressional questioning of TikTok CEO, Shou Chew. Chew was asked constantly about his loyalties to China, despite being from Singapore. The questioning also came at a time when many in Congress were pushing a “Stop Asian Hate” campaign, which starkly contrasted their treatment of Chew.
