The Game Gives A Fan $500 For Eating A Bag Of Insects

On the latest episode of The Game‘s social media series, Anything For The Game, the Compton rapper meets a fan named Angel in a parking lot. In a clip shared to TikTok, Game takes a selfie with Angel, before offering him $500 to complete a rather bizarre challenge.

The two enter a pet store, where Game gets a bag of crickets. He then asks Angel, “How much would you eat some crickets for?”

He offers Angel $500, to which he replies to Game, “How many do I have to eat?”

Game then says, “All of them.”

Angel complies, eating all of the crickets without hesitation.

Elsewhere in the video, Game spots another customer in the store looking at goldfish. He then asks the customer if he’s ever eaten a goldfish, to which he responds that he hasn’t.

“What if I gave you 500 bucks, would you eat one?” Game asks.

The man agrees to the challenge, adding that he’s eaten fish heart before.

He successfully swallows the goldfish after several attempts.

Last month, The Game released his 30-track album, Drillmatic: Heart Vs. Mind. In an interview with Billboard, Game revealed that producer Hit-Boy motivated him to hit the studio and make music.

“I don’t do no rapper stuff,” Game said, “but everything that I am and everything that I got going on now … rapping the way that I’m rapping, it’s all because of him.”

The Game Explains How 50 Cent Ended Up On ‘How We Do’: ’50 Knew What The F*ck It Was When He Heard It’

On the heels of his latest album, the 30-track long Drillmatic: Heart Vs. Mind, The Game paid a visit to the House of Aces podcast The Debut Live. During his interview, he visited back on monumental moments of his career, including the making of his breakthrough single, “How We Do.”

“I was walking down this long-ass hallway, and I was like, ‘fresh like, uhh, Impala, uhh,’” he said, “And then Dre was walking back in the studio…like, ‘Ay.’ I was like, ‘Yeah?’ He was like, ‘What’s that?’ And I’m like, ‘What’s what?!’ And he like, ‘What you mumbling?’ I’m like, ‘Nah don’t worry about it.’ He like, ‘What you mumbling?’”

Dre liked what he heard, and immediately decided to record the track with The Game. To his surprise, 50 Cent later jumped on the track, throwing in additional verses

“[Dre] was like, ‘Let’s lay that,’” The Game said, “After I got done, Dre was like, ‘Yeah, I f*ck with this sh*t.’ Two weeks later, came back to the studio and 50 was on this motherf*cker. … And it was at this time 50 was big as a motherf*cker, so I was happy about that because we was in G-Unit. But Dre had let 50 get on it, and 50 knew what the f*ck it was when he heard it. So he just got on it with me, and that’s how ‘How We Do’ was made.”

The Game Forced To Remove NBA Youngboy From “Drillmatic” Track Over $150K Feature Fee

The Game’s recent Drillmatic: Heart vs. Mind album dropped last week and features 30 songs with over 20 featured artists. Among those was NBA Youngboy on the song OPP. However, The Game was forced to remove the song from the album over the Baton Rouge rapper’s hefty $150k feature fee.

The Game’s manager, Wack 100, spoke on the matter in a recent Clubhouse discussion with Ma$e, saying that the rate was actually cut from $300k.

“In YoungBoy’s defense, YoungBoy charge niggas $300,000 a verse. That’s what he charge, that’s what it is. I can’t front he gave us a hell of a deal, but that situation would’ve cut into marketing overall.”

“So I had to make an executive decision on whether I wanted to pay the tab he sent me, which was a respectable, great tab, it was love, I can’t front. But that tab would’ve cut into that, that and that.”

Wack added, “He gave me a deal for half that. He already sent me a bill for 150, which was love, that’s nephew. So 300 is his rate, but you know, because what happens is with YoungBoy, he was going to do that for the video and everything. So once you go to video and YouTube, he one of the highest streaming individuals on YouTube.”

“You going to get your money back in the long run, plus now your artist is tapping into that fanbase that he may not have. So nothing against YoungBoy, YoungBoy didn’t disrespect us or violate us, him and bro cut his rate in half for us.”

However, Wack then revealed that the album was only supposed to be 20 songs, and they would have been able to pay for the feature, but Game went on to add 10 more songs, 6 of which contained features that needed to be cleared which further dug into the budget.
