Tekashi 69’s Girlfriend Was Arrested For Battery After They Got Into An Altercation

Tekashi 69 has been in his fair share of controversy throughout his career, but in his latest TMZ headline, he’s more of a supporting character. The rapper was allegedly involved in some sort of altercation in Miami with his girlfriend Rachel Wattley, aka Jade, on Sunday night, resulting in Jade being arrested on a battery charge after supposedly punching the rapper. The altercation was caught on video and obtained — of course — by TMZ. The video shows 69 arguing with a group of women including Jade outside a club when one of the women tries to punch him.

When police saw the commotion, they asked Tekashi what happened after he retreated to his car. He told them Jade hit him; his statement was corroborated by witnesses on the street. However, according to the police report, the rapper didn’t want to cooperate with the officers and once they’d arrested her, went to pay her $1,500 bail. He told TMZ directly, “She attacked me in front of the police. I told them, ‘You have to evaluate her, she’s obviously under the influence.’ I don’t plan to press charges … I’m the one trying to bail her out.” This isn’t the first time 69 took a shot in Miami; earlier this year, he was struck from behind at a nightclub. He was also sued by a stripper last year who claimed he hit her with a champagne bottle during a club fight after missing his intended target.

6ix9ine Punched During Miami Club Appearance

6ix9ine found out that he’s still public enemy number one.

The rapper was attacked during an appearance at a Miami nightclub on Thursday morning (April 28), taking a punch to the back of the head as he exited Pilo’s Tacos Tequilla Garden around 2 a.m. with his crew.

In video footage, obtained by TMZ, security clears the way for Tekashi and his team. But one clubgoer clearly wasn’t a fan of the rainbow-haired rapper and swung at him as he walked by, hitting Tekashi in the back of the head. The man who threw the punch then allegedly took off.

In a statement to TMZ, Tekashi confirmed that an altercation occurred. “He scuffed my shoulder by my neck. He also connected with the shoulder of my security guard. I didn’t know this guy. There was no prior dispute,” he said.

Tekashi was seemingly unfazed by the attack and was seen signing autographs and taking photos with fans outside the club after the incident.

Earlier in the evening, 6ix9ine got on the mic and performed his new single “GINÉ” from behind the DJ booth. He also apologized for missing his last appearance at the club.

6ix9ine has been testing the waters since he was released from home confinement in August 2020 after taking a plea deal in his racketeering case where he snitched on members of his former gang. He has also remained active on social media, calling out Fivio Foreign and even his “TROLLZ” collaborator Nicki Minaj.

If there was a poll, most people would say that Tekashi 6ix9ine is the most hated rapper in Hip Hop and it was proven last night when the Brooklyn rapper was sucker punched by by a 69 hater as he was leaving a Miami hot spot.

Tekashi did a walk through and performed one song from behind the DJ booth before leaving the Pilos Tacos Tequilla Garden in Miami. As his security made a clearance for the former Bloods-affiliated rapper, someone who apparently didn’t like the performance, took a swing at 6ix9ine, which connected to the back of his shoulder. Tekashi seemed unfazed by the attack and was even seen signing autographs outside of the club.

As for the Tekashi hater, he took off after taking his swing and hasn’t been heard from since.
