Offset Gets Portrait Tattoos Of His Kids Following Takeoff Tribute

Offset has gotten portraits of his children tattooed on his legs, following his recent tribute to the late Migos rapper, Takeoff. In total, Offset has five kids, Jordan, Kody, Kalea, Kulture, and Wave Cephus. He showed off the new ink on his Instagram Story, Tuesday.

“Tattoo artist fire af..that’s some really good work,” one fan wrote in response. Another commented, “I would’ve been mad if I was wave cuz why you couldn’t have waited till I was a lil older like everyone else this still cute tho.” Wave is Cardi B and Offset’s second and youngest child together. He was born in September 2021. Their first child, Kulture, was born in 2018.

As for his Takeoff tribute, Offset got a portrait of his late cousin tattooed on his back, last month. Takeoff was shot and killed outside of a bowling alley in Houston back in November 2022. He was just 28 years old. At the time, Offset shared an emotional letter for him on Instagram.

“My heart is shattered and I have so many things to say, but I can’t find the words. I’ve been going to sleep and hoping that all of this is a dream, but it’s reality, and reality feels like a nightmare,” he wrote at the time. “I wish I could hug you one last time. Laugh one last time. Smoke one last time. Perform one last time. I know someone with a soul like yours is in heaven now. I hope you can see how much we love you and miss you. You have left a hole in my heart that will never be filled.”

The new tattoos come as Offset continues to tease the release of a new album. While he’s yet to confirm any concrete details, he posted a teaser for the project on Instagram, last month, with the caption, “ALBUM Loading…”

Usher’s Harry Belafonte Tattoo Is A Heartfelt Tribute To The Late Icon

Earlier this week, sad news of Harry Belafonte’s passing took the entertainment industry by storm. Granted, the multi-talent did live to be 96, but seeing someone who contributed so much to music, film/television, and the civil rights movement pass away is never easy. Heartfelt tributes to the fallen star have been coming in all across social media since word broke on Tuesday (April 25), including a more recent one from Usher, who previously had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Belafonte.

The Texas-born R&B star shared a photo dump to his Instagram on Thursday (April 27), recalling some of the time he spent with the New York native. “A world-renowned entertainer. A barrier-breaking actor. A tireless activist. A one-of-a-kind friend. Inspired is the word that comes to mind when I think about you Harry,” Usher wrote in his caption. “A man of great strength, courage, and sense of purpose. All things that I view as admirable. When I spent time with you…I was in awe of how your presence was so powerful,” he added before praising Belafonte’s “amazing spirit and incomparable gifts.”

The father of four’s powerful message came to an end with, “Your passion awakened our souls. The impression you made on my heart is why I wear you on my skin.” In the accompanying photos, we see Usher and Belafonte sharing a laugh while sitting on a couch together, as well as a video of the elderly man cheering his friend on from the audience in his wheelchair. In the final slide, the “Banana Boat” singer examines a portrait of him inked on Usher’s bicep, which beautifully captures his younger image.

Others who have been reflecting on HB’s impact include Diddy, who dubbed him “a true king and revolutionary,” as well as Chuck D. The latter labelled the icon as “the father figure of our community,” proving just how undeniably powerful his legacy is, even decades after the peak of his career. “Not a fan anymore,” one user commented under her picture of a human-animal hybrid that the “Woman” singer tatted on her. “Used to love you but you clearly sold your soul to the devil. Unfollow.” To that comment specifically, Doja Cat responded in a way that might as well have applied to all the hate coming her way. “Whatever helps u sleep at night,” she replied to the dismissive attitude that commenter put on. At the time, he and Quavo had just unleashed their Only Built For Infinity Links project and were certainly in celebration mode as the album received countless positive reviews from both friends and fans. Unfortunately, the 28-year-old fell victim to a shooting in Houston on the first day of November, leaving his uncle, and their Migos crew member, Offset, to mourn his untimely loss.

For his part, Quavo has been paying homage to Takeoff through music. At the end of March, the multi-talent shared his “Honey Bun” single, which not only interpolates sounds from Drake and 21 Savage’s Her Loss but also serves as a tribute to the late rhymer. Offset, on the other hand, offered up his entire back as a canvas for a beautiful portrait of his family member. “Love you 4L & after 🚀🤍🕊,” the father of five wrote in the caption, promising to carry on Takeoff’s legacy for the rest of his own life.

The couple welcomed their daughter Alice in 2021 and later revealed the birth of their son on September 28th, 2022.

It’s becoming more clear that NBA Youngboy doesn’t necessarily have the intention of relocating his family to major hubs, like LA Or Atlanta, for the sake of his career. As he’s continued to deliver an influx of music to his fans on house arrest, he previously revealed that he wanted to move Jazlyn and their two children to Europe after he resolved his legal issues. “We got to stay prayed up. Sure, the Chicago drill pioneer is an absolute legend, but why does he apparently hate Bhad Bhabie?

Meanwhile, this will likely be another case of the influencer getting post-facto flack for her media posts. Recently, she totaled her first car and said she never wants to be in a vehicle “ever again.” After she shared her story, she pulled all related posts and ranted about constant hate on her Instagram Story.
