Kodak Black’s Artist Syko Bob’s Mother Fatally Shot In Florida: Report

Tragedy struck Syko Bob recently, a Broward County rapper signed to Kodak Black’s Sniper Gang label. Moreover, new reports from VladTV indicate that Bob’s mother passed away following a fatal shooting in a Fort Lauderdale neighborhood on Wednesday. Said reports stand unconfirmed as of writing this article, since the Florida MC hasn’t spoken out about this news yet. What’s more is that these reports paired with a video making rounds on social media of a van with bullet holes. In it, a police officer approaches the vehicle and discovers the victim, and sirens ring off loudly in the background.

Furthermore, there aren’t many other details that emerged surrounding this case, such as crime scene analyses or other information. As such, we can assume that this is still an open case under Broward County police jurisdiction and will likely progress in the coming days and weeks. Unfortunately for Syko Bob, he can’t be there with his family and friends to grieve this cataclysmic loss if reports are true. The rapper is currently behind bars for a five-year prison sentence following a guilty plea for illegal gun possession charges in December of 2022.

Syko Bob, real name Cambrel Smart, dealt with this legal situation for the better part of the last two years, starting with a traffic stop on January 5, 2022. After cops stopped him for speeding, they found a bag of marijuana and a loaded gun in his car. According to jail records uncovered by HipHopDX on Instagram, authorities charged him with a DUI. Also, they added charges of carrying a concealed firearm, possession of over 20 grams of marijuana, possession of a controlled substance without prescription, and possession of a weapon or ammo by a convicted individual.

Meanwhile, the “My Lil S**t” MC must be going through a lot right now seeing this news. With that in mind, we send him condolences for his loss and hope that he will be able to grieve and honor his mother despite his situation. These cases are never easy to manage, especially when one’s dealing with heavy external factors like jail time. For more news and the latest updates on Syko Bob, stick around on HNHH.

Kodak Black’s Artist Syko Bob Posts Up With Foogiano In “Scary” New Prison Photo

A new photo of Syko Bob posing in prison alongside Foogiano and another inmate has gone viral. Various users are saying that Kodak Black’s artist looks spooky in the photo, with some even claiming that he appears to need an “exorcism.” “Syko Bob really look like a demon,” one user writes. Another says, “keep him in there.” Someone else adds that the artist “looks like he don’t wanna be a part of society.”

In December of 2022, Syko Bob pleaded guilty to a gun possession charge. He was sentenced to five years behind bars earlier this year. He was arrested on various charges after a traffic stop in the beginning of 2022. The charges included DUI, carrying a concealed firearm, possession of a controlled substance, and more. According to reports, the artist was seen driving over the speed limit in Collier County, FL at 3 a.m. Law enforcement later searched his vehicle, allegedly finding a bag of marijuana and a loaded gun.

Users Compare Syko Bob To A “Demon”

Back in 2021, Syko Bob was a victim of a drive-by shooting in Florida. The shooting appeared to be targeted. The artist and two other victims were driving in the middle of the day when the attack took place, and were later taken to a Broward-area hospital. The witness who took them to the hospital, Tristan Johnson, later spoke on the incident. “I could hear one of the guys, you could hear the blood in his throat like as he’s talking so I’m trying to hurry up and get [to the hospital],” he explained. “If it was me and someone shot me and I needed help,” he continued, “I would want someone to take me as well.”

Lt. Michael Santiago of the Lauderhill Police Department later claimed that Syko Bob and his affiliates failed to provide much information in the case. “All three victims refused to cooperate with the investigation and provided no details on the events,” he explained.

Kodak Black Artist Syko Bob Gets 5-Year Prison Sentence For Gun Possession

Authorities just sentenced Syko Bob, signed to Kodak Black’s Sniper Gang collective, to five years behind bars. Moreover, the Florida rapper (real name Cambrel Smart) pleaded guilty to a charge of gun possession back in December of 2022. While not many details surrounding this case came out, it followed a January 2022 traffic stop at around 3:00 a.m. During this pull-over for speeding on I-75 in Collier County, Florida, a Florida Highway Patrol trooper found a bag of marijuana and a loaded gun.

Furthermore, HipHopDX discovered jail record copies showing alleged charges of a DUI, carrying a concealed gun, possession of a controlled substance without a prescription, possession of more than 20 grams of marijuana, and possession of a weapon or ammo by a convicted felon. As of writing this article, Kodak Black has yet to respond to these developments on social media. However, given their close collaboration, hopefully the label boss is supporting his artist in any way possible through this tough time. Unfortunately, it’s not the most dangerous headline Syko’s had to face.

Syko Bob, Kodak Black Signee, Sentenced To Five Years In Prison

To elaborate, Bob was one of a few targets of a drive-by shooting in April of 2021, which assumedly targeted them directly. According to reports from The Sun Sentinel, police claimed the 29-year-old and two other men drove around Lauderhill, Florida at the time of the attack. Then, a black BMW drove close by and shot at the group. Car crashes ensued as both vehicles tried to move quickly, with someone in Syko’s car allegedly shooting back. What’s more is that the vehicles disappeared by the time police responded, and so they went to see the three victims in the hospital, who were rushed there by bystanders.

According to Lt. Michael Santiago, Syko and his crew “refused to cooperate with the investigation and provided no details on the events.” The Sniper Gang MC took to Instagram Live to let fans know he survived unscathed. “Please stop talking about ‘get well’ when s**t ain’t wrong,” he expressed. “Don’t send me s**t about no ‘get well’ no more when s**t ain’t happen to me.” Regardless, log back into HNHH for the latest news and updates on Syko Bob and Kodak Black.
