Offset Loses His $1 Million Super Bowl Bet On The 49ers

Over the weekend one of the most exciting Super Bowl’s in recent years took place. Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs outlasted the San Francisco 49ers in an overtime thriller. The big game took place in Las Vegas this year and saw the NFL leaning further into the world of sports betting than ever before. That included some major wages from a few notable high rollers. One of the biggest bags dropped on the big game came from Offset.

Video of the rapper showing up to the Super Bowl made the rounds online in the middle of the game. In the clip, he’s rolling up to the stadium in style where he reveals that he’s dropped a million dollars on a bet. Shortly after he shares that he placed his bet on the 49ers. When the video first made its way to the internet San Francisco was winning which led some fans to congratulate him on a good start. Last month, Offset shared some pretty special news. In the wake of his new album SET IT OFF that dropped last year, he’s taking off on his first ever solo tour. The 17-date series of shows will begin in March and stop at many of the biggest cities in America.

The tour will wrap up with a hometown Atlanta show on April 10. The tour announcement doesn’t confirm any opening act and tickets for the show are already on sale. Cardi B Voices Support For Taylor Swift & Travis Kelce In Super Bowl

Cardi B revealed that she was rooting for Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce ahead of the Super Bowl on Sunday. She discussed the couple in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter ahead of kickoff. She also spoke about her excitement for Usher’s Halftime Show performance and hinted at wanting to take the stage sometime in the future.

“I think it’s cute,” Cardi said of Swift dating Travis Kelce as well as the media coverage around their relationship. “She looks so happy. I feel like she’s really private with her relationships, so I really feel like she likes him a lot because she’s like, ‘I don’t give a f—. I’m going to kiss him. I’m going to touch him. I’m going to kiss him! Yeah, I’m here. Yeah, I’m taking a jet to see my man.’” The Chiefs ended up beating the 49ers 25-22 in overtime.

As for Usher’s set, Cardi said: “I’m not going to say [it’s way overdue] because everything is always on great timing. He came right on time and I’m so excited. He has come back stronger than ever and boom. My choreographer has worked with Usher before and he said that he is very strict [and] takes his routine seriously, and that’s why I feel like his shows are so amazing.” She also added that she’d be interested in performing at the Super Bowl in the future. Elsewhere in the interview, Cardi discussed the current state of hip-hop, sharing a positive outlook on the direction the genre is heading.

Usher Has Tameka Foster’s Support, Ex-Wife Hits Up Super Bowl Halftime Show

Usher’s Super Bowl halftime show was a treat to witness last night (February 11), and a lot of people showed out for it. Whether it was other celebrities or legions of fans, it seemed like everyone had something great to say about the spectacle. Not only that, but it seems like folks from his past also showed up to support him, including his ex-wife Tameka Foster. She posted a video of herself at the event on her social media, and an Instagram Story clip even seemingly shows her with another partner there. As such, it was a pretty wholesome and heartening thing to witness, as we’d much rather see supportive divorces than toxic relationships.

Furthermore, Usher and Tameka Foster were married from 2007 to 2009, and a lot of ink’s been spilled on their fling from both parties and even spectators. They had a lot of ups and downs, including cheating claims and other issues, but it seems like they’re in a better place right now. Also, enough time has passed to make their relationship easier to digest in hindsight, so a lot of that discussion wasn’t as toxic as it could’ve been at the split’s inception. Not even romantic baggage can contain one’s excitement from a show from such an amazing performer.

However, this wasn’t the only rift that Usher seemed to heal up with this Super Bowl halftime show. Chris Brown recently gave him his props for the extravaganza with a fire emoji on his Instagram Story. For those unaware, the two were involved in an alleged brawl during Breezy’s 34th birthday party lat year. While that situation never really cleared up in terms of what actually happened, seems like all that’s water under the bridge if it was actually true.

Meanwhile, as for Mr. Raymond and Tameka Foster, her previous infidelity claims seem to have settled. Hopefully the two can continue to find ways to come together and celebrate each other on their individual journeys. Nope. Usher didn’t get paid for his stellar Super Bowl Halftime Show performance, no matter how good it was.

Stars who perform the Super Bowl Halftime Show are usually given a budget with which to stage the show so they aren’t coming out of pocket, but they also don’t get a check at the end of the night (or up front) as they would for a normal concert.

So, why do they do it? Because, simply put, it’s an opportunity to get their faces and work in front of the biggest television audience in pop culture today. For instance, going into this show, some fans were actively questioning whether Usher was someone who should be doing the Super Bowl, wondering if he was “big enough” for TV’s biggest moment.

Now, after the performance, not only have those skeptics largely been converted, but many of them will also be checking out Usher’s catalog, or checking for him in the future. To paraphrase Shaq: They weren’t familiar with his game, but they are now.

In the past, stars have seen enormous streaming increases as curious viewers do their research, including Dr. Dre, Rihanna, and even Spongebob Squarepants. So, even if Usher didn’t get paid, it’s still extremely worth it, as those streaming bumps can result in big payouts when those royalty checks roll in. The Super Bowl is one time that getting paid in exposure is worth just as much as a check.

If you remember some of the wildest gossip from 2023, you may recall an alleged brawl that went down between Chris Brown and Usher at the former’s 34th birthday party. Moreover, this allegedly stemmed from the latter trying to calm Brown down after disrespecting Teyana Taylor, although the actual details are quite muddy. Afterwards, Breezy performed at the Dallas native’s Lovers & Friends festival as planned, so it seems like things weren’t that serious or true to begin with. Now, we have another piece of evidence that gives credence to that idea. It’s in the form of a simple fire emoji that the “Beautiful People” singer posted on his Instagram Story, tagging the Confessions legend in it.

Of course, this is likely in reference to Usher’s Super Bowl halftime show last night (Sunday, February 11). While it wasn’t an absolutely uncontested hit in many’s eyes, the public consensus seems to be a pretty enthusiastic thumbs-up. Yet this reopens the conversation about alleged beef with Chris Brown, even though it’s been almost a year since their supposed altercation. We know that the two still hold a lot of respect for each other as artists and performers, so maybe this was all just a big misunderstanding.

But as two R&B stars with a similar skillset and slightly separate generations, one can’t deny that there’s a competitive aspect to their bond, too. Swizz Beatz spoke out in response to the backlash on Instagram after the game, defending Usher and his wife. “Y’all talking about the wrong damn thing !!! y’all don’t see that amazing dress covering the entire stadium,” Swizz wrote. “Tonight’s performance was nothing but amazing with 2 amazing Giants ! Beyonce Hints At The New Direction For “ACT II” With “16 CARRIAGES” & TEXAS HOLD ‘EM”

Beyonce is a living legend and a masterful businesswoman. Amid all the hype surrounding Super Bowl LVIII, she teased some new music in a pair of commercials. One of them was a hilarious Verizon collaboration, with Beyonce trying to break the internet by trying to pull off crazy stunts. At the end of the advertisement, she said, “Drop the new music.” Somewhat separate from that ad, Queen Bey previewed one of her two new singles “TEXAS HOLD ‘EM.” This is going to be a part of ACT II.

At the end of that commercial, she revealed the release date. It looks to be March 29 and based on both tracks, it seems we are transitioning. We are going from the undeniable grooves of house and dance to country. Beyonce did drop a single, “MY HOUSE,” back in December, but that appears to have no ties to ACT II based on its sound alone. But, how do these songs sound?

Well, they sound pretty damn good. Beyonce has something cooking for ACT II and it may be one of her most ambitious projects. “TEXAS HOLD ‘EM” is more of a hoedown song with animated background vocals and a thumping drum pattern. Contrastingly, “16 CARRIAGES” is a more serious vibe with a grand instrumental. It is a self-reflecting Beyonce who looks at all the difficulties and hard work she has put in to get to where she is now. She embraces her Texan roots in a very tasteful way. Grab your lassos and cowboy hats, RENAISSANCE ACT II is going to be a hell of a ride.

Ice Spice Watches In Amazement As Taylor Swift Chugs Her Drink While On The Jumbotron

Ice Spice was one of the many people at the Super Bowl on Sunday. However, she got one of the best seats in the house as she was next to Taylor Swift and even Lana Del Rey. Moreover, Mama Kelce was in the suite with the superstars, and it was truly an odd mix of people. Overall, this is typically the case at the Super Bowl. Although it was especially true this year as Swift is dating Travis Kelce. In the end, the Chiefs kept their good luck charm intact as they won the Super Bowl with a thrilling overtime drive.

With Taylor and Ice Spice at the game, both stars got their fair share of air time. If you were paying attention, there were all sorts of shots of the two enjoying their suite. However, there was one moment that was captured on the Jumbotron, in which Taylor Swift got into her frat boy bag. Below, you can see the artist chug her drink from start to finish. She did so with a friend and it looked very impressive. Perhaps the funniest part of all of this was Ice Spice who watched on in absolute amazement.

Taylor was definitely having the time of her life during the match, as was Ice Spice and everyone else in that suite. Sure, the game was a bit hectic at the end, and for a while, it seemed like the 49ers had it on lock. However, the Chiefs are an incredible second-half team, and they showed out with a truly remarkable performance that will be remembered for years. They have won two Super Bowls in a row, and it is very clear that this team is officially a dynasty. You have to be impressed with everything that took place. Unless you are a Niners fan.
