Lil Durk just sent out a cryptic message to Drake via his Instagram Story, and fans speculated online as to its meaning. Moreover, he tagged Drake’s account, @champagnepapi, and wrote “if you reading this it ain’t [too] late” with a crying-laughing emoji on a blank screen. For those of you that didn’t get the reference, he referred to the 6 God’s 2015 album, If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late (his best work, many would say). However, given that they haven’t really done much recently, fans wondered whether this was a tease for a collaboration to come or perhaps something deeper.

After all, their track “Laugh Now, Cry Later” was a smash hit, and a fan favorite for many. Of course, the most likely explanation is that this is just an inside joke that millions happened to spectate. A lot of people started to joke concerning his recent Her Loss collab with 21 Savage (“Smurkio, can u do sumn for me?” was a popular comment). Regardless, it’s unlikely that fans will ever know the origin of this post, unless they drop some heat soon.

Speaking of which, the Canadian superstar just teased some new music via his Instagram Story. Not only that, but the track seems to address what his ideal partner would look like. “I need someone to be patient with me / Someone to get money, would not take it from me,” he sings in the snippet. “They don’t even need to be as famous as me / I don’t think I meet ’em at the places I be / But deep down I think about you all day, mami.” Maybe it’s the typical Drake fodder for some, but if it’s a single, it’ll still make massive waves.

Blac Chyna Shows Tokyo Toni Some Love After She Praises Her Parenting

Blac Chyna’s relationship with mother Tokyo Toni proved very difficult over the last few years, but after the latter praised the former’s parenting, it seems like they might be on their way to healing together. Moreover, Chyna, who now wants to go by her real name Angela White, posted a loving message for Toni on Instagram. Furthermore, it came after her mother shared a clip of her talking about how good of a mom Chyna is. They each wrote simple but effective messages on their social media platforms. To elaborate, Tokyo was answering a question about whether she’s worried about her children.

“No,” she answered in the interview snippet. “I never worry about that because Chyna’s a good mom. She’s a good mom. She’s going to take care of her kids with her last breath.” Not only that, but the clip included some pics of the model with one of her kids to sell the point. In addition, her mother captioned the clip on her Instagram Story with, “Love You Chy, Your The Goat,” and tagged her daughter. In her response on a Story post of her own, White wrote, “Thank you mama I love you so much.” While it’s not the first time they’ve reconciled after fighting, hopefully it’s the last.

Tokyo Toni Praises Blac Chyna’s Parenting

Moreover, this comes after weeks of Toni previously dragging Chyna, which led the latter to block her mother. “It’s definitely something there,” the 34-year-old expressed. “I feel like we’ve tried to work out things and whatnot. Drake Calls The-Dream The GOAT After Grammys

Drake just shouted out the iconic songwriter The-Dream for his multiple wins at the 65th Grammy Awards this Sunday (February 5), labeling him a “GOAT.” Moreover, the Atlanta artist won four Grammys through his work on Beyoncé’s smash album, RENAISSANCE. She won Best Dance/Electronic Album, Best Dance/Electronic Recording, Best R&B Song, and Best Traditional R&B Performance. Furthermore, the first three categories went to The-Dream as well, given his work as writer and producer for “BREAK MY SOUL” and “CUFF IT.” After the ceremony, Drake posted a picture of The-Dream to his Instagram story with a simple emoji of a goat.

However, the songwriter’s success also came parallel to Beyoncé’s record-breaking wins. After the Recording Academy handed out awards during their 2023 ceremony, she became the most awarded artist in Grammys history. During her acceptance speech, she graciously thanked her family, supporters, and God for her blessings. Also, she acknowledged the deep roots of RENAISSANCE‘s musical style, particularly its embrace of dance music, specifically house. “I’d like thank the queer community for your love, and for inventing the genre,” she said to loud cheers.

Still, the 6 God’s praise of The-Dream is unsurprising given their collaborations. Although it’s well-deserved, it’s also slightly ironic considering Drizzy’s relationship to the Grammys. Moreover, he won for Best Melodic Rap Performance for his contributions alongside Tems to Future’s “WAIT FOR U.” Ironically, he boycotted the ceremony and still ended up with a win. While Beyoncé led the pack with four wins, the most out of any artist this year, many believe RENAISSANCE deserved better. In a surprising and controversial move, the Recording Academy picked Harry Styles’ Harry’s House for Album of the Year. Not only that, but RENAISSANCE’s big nominations for Record of the Year and Song of the Year also went unfulfilled. Still, awards mean nothing to either Harry or Beyoncé, who are two incredibly dominant artists regardless of a gramophone. It just stings when so much promotional material and buzz built around RENAISSANCE‘s massive success.
