Biggie and 2Pac are two of the most-mentioned names when it comes to the greatest of all-time conversation. Jadakiss recently gave a top-five nod to The Notorious B.I.G. while listing his favorite arts in the genre. However, he notably left off the West Coast legend, 2Pac. Instead, he placed himself alongside Biggie, DMX, Nas, and JAY-Z for his top five dead or alive. Check out Westside Gunn’s recent post about Biggie and 2Pac below.

LeBron James Retells Wild Michael Jordan Dream

LeBron James is one of the most famous athletes in the entire world. When an athlete is extremely famous, sometimes they fancy a bit of privacy. Overall, James is as private as one can be for an extraordinarily famous individual. However, from time to time, James likes to let us into his life and his subconscious. He will go on Twitter or Instagram and give us a glimpse of what is going on throughout his day-to-day. This is all very fun, and it has led to some pretty hilarious moments and even some revelations.

Subsequently, LeBron was feeling very forthcoming on Sunday morning. In the tweets down below, the Los Angeles Lakers star spoke about a dream he had involving Michael Jordan. Of course, this had fans in a tizzy due to the fact that James is neck and neck with MJ in the GOAT debate. Moreover, the dream had to do with Duke and North Carolina, which is an epic basketball rivalry.

LeBron And His Dreams

“Just woke up from having a dream that MJ and I was shooting the sh*+ back and forth at the Men’s National Championship game between North Carolina/Duke! Great vibes and EPIC CLASSIC GAME!” LeBron wrote. “It was a tie game/94-94/5 secs left/NC with the ball. My ass would wake up to use the bathroom right before seeing the ending of the game. Happens all the time. Never get to the end. Anyways felt real as hell. Lol. Gm everyone.” The ending to this dream is truly unfortunate. I think I can speak for all of us when I say we have all had dreams that end before we wanted them to. You can never seem to get the dream back, and it is truly tragic.

James is probably dreaming about basketball right now because he can’t play it. He is currently dealing with an ankle injury that is keeping him out of the Lakers lineup. Although he could come back by playoff time, there is no guarantee that his team makes it that far. Either way, it is clear that ball is always deep in his subconscious. Let us know what you think about his dream, down below. Additionally, stay tuned to HNHH for more news from around the sports world.

Drake Calls The-Dream The GOAT After Grammys

Drake just shouted out the iconic songwriter The-Dream for his multiple wins at the 65th Grammy Awards this Sunday (February 5), labeling him a “GOAT.” Moreover, the Atlanta artist won four Grammys through his work on Beyoncé’s smash album, RENAISSANCE. She won Best Dance/Electronic Album, Best Dance/Electronic Recording, Best R&B Song, and Best Traditional R&B Performance. Furthermore, the first three categories went to The-Dream as well, given his work as writer and producer for “BREAK MY SOUL” and “CUFF IT.” After the ceremony, Drake posted a picture of The-Dream to his Instagram story with a simple emoji of a goat.

However, the songwriter’s success also came parallel to Beyoncé’s record-breaking wins. After the Recording Academy handed out awards during their 2023 ceremony, she became the most awarded artist in Grammys history. During her acceptance speech, she graciously thanked her family, supporters, and God for her blessings. Also, she acknowledged the deep roots of RENAISSANCE‘s musical style, particularly its embrace of dance music, specifically house. “I’d like thank the queer community for your love, and for inventing the genre,” she said to loud cheers.

Still, the 6 God’s praise of The-Dream is unsurprising given their collaborations. Although it’s well-deserved, it’s also slightly ironic considering Drizzy’s relationship to the Grammys. Moreover, he won for Best Melodic Rap Performance for his contributions alongside Tems to Future’s “WAIT FOR U.” Ironically, he boycotted the ceremony and still ended up with a win. Regardless, he rose above his personal situation to acknowledge greatness, specifically The-Dream’s longstanding influence and talent.

While Beyoncé led the pack with four wins, the most out of any artist this year, many believe RENAISSANCE deserved better. In a surprising and controversial move, the Recording Academy picked Harry Styles’ Harry’s House for Album of the Year. Not only that, but RENAISSANCE’s big nominations for Record of the Year and Song of the Year also went unfulfilled. Still, awards mean nothing to either Harry or Beyoncé, who are two incredibly dominant artists regardless of a gramophone. It just stings when so much promotional material and buzz built around RENAISSANCE‘s massive success. Check out the full list of winners here and check back in with HNHH for the latest on The-Dream and the Grammys.
