Fans of the hitmaker have been extremely appreciative of the effort he has put into this messy situation. Obviously, it is his job to fight tooth and nail for his defendant, but Steele continues to be a shimmering sign of hope that Thugger will come out of this. Perhaps the biggest win for the lawyer and the Georgia MC so far is the recusal of Judge Ural Glanville. He has been presiding over this case since the beginning and he continued to make questionable and seemingly unfair decisions.

A lot of people following this case have been convinced that Glanville was pulling out all of the stops to get Young Thug locked up. If that was his goal, he lost that opportunity as of yesterday. Brian Steele filed a motion to recuse the troublesome judge. Countless times, the lawyer has stood firm on his position that Glanville had been leading and unfair. Moreover, he recently returned to Instagram after wiping his page to boast about traveling on a private jet, and he previously went white water rafting in Wyoming with some pals. Well, folks accusing the Bad Boy mogul of these crimes, whether their lawsuits wrapped up or not, are not happy about these actions in the face of controversy and accountability efforts. For example, Cassie’s lawyer Douglas Wigdor has reportedly issued a short statement responding to his recent movement.

“I don’t think white water rafting will prepare him for the choppy waters that lie ahead,” Wigdor reportedly told TMZ of Diddy’s travels. Of course, his legal team stands by his claims of innocence. “We live in a world where anyone can file a lawsuit for any reason and without any proof,” one of Puffy’s lawyers reportedly told TMZ. “Fortunately, a fair and impartial judicial process exists to find the truth and Mr. Combs is confident he will prevail against these and other baseless claims in court.”

Meanwhile, other rumors about Diddy’s nightclub shooting also emerged recently from one of the incident’s alleged victims. As for other lawsuits and accusations, things became relatively slow. Upon arriving at the scene, officers discovered Darius Guillebeaux lying on the ground. Police reported that he was unresponsive, with multiple gunshot wounds to his head and chest. Emergency medical services swiftly transported Guillebeaux to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center, where he was unfortunately pronounced dead. Local reports at the time identified Guillebeaux as an alleged drug kingpin. Moreover, the violent nature of the crime and Guillebeaux’s reputed criminal connections have led investigators to consider the possibility of a hired hit.

Enchanting passed away earlier this week, and there is no doubt that fans are incredibly distraught over it. Overall, this new came out of nowhere. Firstly, it was reported that she was on life support. However, the following day, it was reported that she had passed away. It was an incredibly sad story to report, especially when you consider how the artist was only 26 years old. Since the news broke, family, friends, and fellow artists have put out messages of love, noting just how amazing Enchanting was.

According to No Jumper, Enchanting’s manager has put out a statement on her passing. “If you really knew Chant, you know her personality was larger than life, she was a whole vibe and owned every room she walked in. Chant was one of the most loyal and beautiful souls we have ever encountered,” the statement reads. “In December of 2023, we were blessed to get the opportunity to sign BIG CHANT to Change the Game Records. June 16, 2024 was the date set to tell the world.”

Cassie’s lawyer, Meredith Firetog, reacted to Diddy’s apology in a statement provided to Deadline on Sunday. In doing so, she remarked that the video he shared reeks of “pathetic desperation” and his comments are “disingenuous.” The drama began when CNN published footage of Diddy appearing to assault Cassie at a hotel in 2016. He dropped the apology video two days later on Sunday.

“Combs’ most recent statement is more about himself than the many people he has hurt,” Firetog wrote. “When Cassie and multiple other women came forward, he denied everything and suggested that his victims were looking for a payday. That he was only compelled to ‘apologize’ once his repeated denials were proven false shows his pathetic desperation, and no one will be swayed by his disingenuous words.”

My behavior on that video is inexcusable. I take full responsibility for my actions in that video. I was disgusted then when I did it. I’m disgusted now. I went and I sought out professional help, I got into going to therapy, going to rehab. I had to ask God for his mercy and grace. I’m so sorry. But I’m committed to be a better man each and every day. I’m not asking for forgiveness. I’m truly sorry.”

Christian Combs’ Lawyer Releases Statement On Sexual Assault Allegations

Earlier this week, Diddy’s son Christian “King” Combs was hit with a new lawsuit from a woman named Grace O’Marcaigh. She accuses him of sexually assaulting her in 2022 when she worked on a yacht leased by Combs’ family. O’Marcaigh believes she could have been drugged by the 26-year-old, according to her lawsuit. She claims to have audio recordings of the incident, captured by Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones, a producer who’s currently suing Diddy for sexual misconduct and more. Diddy is also named as a defendant in her suit, as she accuses him of aiding and abetting his son. She’s seeking unspecified damages.

The Combs’ lawyer, Aaron Dyer, has now released a statement in response to the allegations. He denies O’Marcaigh’s claims, also going after her lawyer, Tyrone Blackburn. Blackburn is also representing Lil Rod amid his legal battle with the Bad Boy Records founder.
