Well, whether it is or isn’t, there’s a recent boxing victor who chose to capitalize on the moment, celebrate his win, and maybe build a back-up career path in the process. Moreover, fans found it funny that, before K.Dot clapped back at Drizzy, Ryan Garcia dropped a diss track on social media against Devin Haney, whom he recently beat in a boxing match that didn’t count for a title due to Garcia not making weight beforehand. It’s exactly what you expect: a generic trap beat, boasting about the dub, making jokes about Haney’s loss, and admittedly less cringe than what it sounds like.

Furthermore, Ryan Garcia is really feeling himself following this win, and is chirping and chiming into a lot of stuff to prove not just his dominance and relevance, but his will to take things to the next level. To explain this, we have to bring up another boxing beef: Floyd Mayweather versus Gervonta Davis. For those unaware, the former friends have turned sour over the years and are currently throwing shots at each other on social media. Imagine if Haney then dissed Ye for walking the loser out… That would’ve been a whole new beef in and of itself.

Meanwhile, it’s clear that a lot of Garcia’s antics are just self-admitted trolling, but tactics that he knows how to use relatively well. Tank Dell Wounded In Nightclub Mass Shooting

Tank Dell suffered a “minor wound” during a shooting in Sanford, Florida at Cabana Live early Sunday morning. The Houston Texans confirmed later in the day that the star wide receiver was shot by a teenage gunman who opened fire after an altercation. The shooter wounded 10 people during the incident. Dell made it out okay and has since left the hospital and is traveling back to Houston.

“[Dell] has been released from the hospital and he is in good spirits,” the Texans said in a statement on social media. “We are in contact with him and his family and will provide more updates when appropriate but ask that you please respect his privacy at this time. Our thoughts and prayers are with everyone involved in the incident.” No one in the shooting sustained life-threatening injuries.

ESPN reports that witnesses say someone pulled out a handgun and began firing toward a crowd of people after a fistfight broke out. A nearby security guard lunged at the shooter and disarmed him. Police have reportedly arrested a 16-year-old suspect whom they’ve taken to a juvenile detention center. They’re charging him with attempted homicide, firing a weapon in a public place, using a firearm during a felony, and illegal possession of a firearm by a minor.

The win comes despite a heated viral exchange between LeBron James and Lakers coach Darvin Ham in the fourth quarter. As James went for a steal against Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, the former Laker threw the ball out of bounds, but referees called it Nuggets ball. Garcia knocked Haney down three times in the later rounds, showing his dominance and trademark speed. The fight was hyped by Garcia’s outlandish promo that almost overshadowed the fight itself. Garcia was unable to take home Haney’s WBC title because he was officially overweight for the fight.

Fans are excited about the prospect of a rematch between the two fighters. Now, we are hearing rumblings from Haney’s camp that they want a rematch as well. A rematch where the title could actually be up for grabs would draw a lot of attention. Due to how entertaining the fight was, it will be bigger than the first match. Haney’s promoter is letting it be known that they are working on a rematch for their prizefighter. Eddie Hearn, Haney’s promoter, hopes the two young talents can square off once again. When asked about a potential rematch, he said, “I hope so.” Hearn is one of boxing’s best promoters and, of course, sees a tremendous opportunity for a hyped rematch. Hearn is not unaware that the ball is in Ryan Garcia’s court. Winning the fight means the pressure is on Garcai to also want a rematch, something he doesn’t have to do. Hearn said, “I think that Ryan’s in a great position. He’s a huge star. He’s going to pick the fights that he likes and he wants.”

Hearn continued saying, “But, [Ryan] did come in overweight. You know, we would like a chance to put it right on an even playing field.” Devin Haney’s title remained with him because of Rayans weight. He concluded, “Ryan was a huge star before. Joel Embiid Called Out For Dirty Flagrant Foul In Game 3 Against The Knicks

Knicks Sixers has been a very intense playoff series. The first two games were physical battles that saw the Knicks come out on top. Joel Embiid and the Sixers were furious over how game two was officiated. The referees missed obvious calls in the final two minutes, which the Sixers believe cost them the game. One official grievance later, Game 3 headed to Philidelphia. The 76ers clearly looked frustrated throughout the series, and last night, Joel Embiid let his frustrations get the better of him.

Embiid, the most vocal 76er after the controversial end to game 2, has clearly been rattled by the physicality of the series. This frustration, coupled with his ongoing recovery from a long-term injury, led to a shocking incident in Game 3. After once again not receiving a foul call, Embiid fell to the floor. In a moment of sheer aggression, he grabbed Knicks center Mitchell Robinson by the legs and violently pulled the 7-footer down. This was not just a foul; and it was a dangerous and malicious act that could have resulted in serious injury to Robinson.

Joel Embiid’s foul on Mitchel Robinson was not just a foul. The outburst was a dirty play that posed a serious risk. After the incident, the two teams had to be separated, and the referees had to review the play. To the surprise of many, the officials deemed it a flagrant 1 violation. However, the NBA chose not to eject a star player like Embiid despite the clear violation. This decision raises the question: should Embiid have been ejected for his actions? Many fans and pundits believe he should have been.

The MVP stayed in the game despite the dirty play and gave his best performance in his playoff career.
