Josh Giddey’s Police Probe Into Alleged Inappropriate Relationship With A Minor Is Over: “Unable To Corroborate Any Criminal Activity”

The NBA has closed its own investigation into the Josh Giddey allegations after reaching a similar conclusion as the Newport Beach Police Probe, according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski. This comes four months after Newport Beach police announced that their probe had been “unable to corroborate any criminal activity” against Josh Giddey, 21, of The Oklahoma City Thunder, regarding online allegations of an inappropriate relationship with an underage girl. In late November, the accusations made against Giddey became public on social media. An anonymous social media user said that the girl who was spotted with Giddey in pictures and videos was a junior in high school at the time of the since-deleted post. The social media account was deleted after the post was made.

NBA Commissioner Adam Silver had stated in early December that the league’s probe would “take a back seat” to the police’s process, and on November 29, Newport Beach police started an inquiry. Giddey has refrained from responding to the accusations. During the Thunder’s postseason run to the Western Conference semifinals, he stayed with the team and averaged 8.7 points and 3.6 rebounds per game.

The basketball community and beyond were rocked by the Josh Giddey allegations. The involved claims of improper contact with Livv Cook, a minor, was a shocking development. When images and videos of Giddey with a young woman appeared on social media, the dispute broke out. Additionally, there have been rumors that the girl, Livv Cook, was just fifteen years old, which suggests a wrong kind of connection. Josh Giddey has stayed quiet throughout the whole ordeal. Many fans wondered why there was no punishment for the allegations. After all, the league had been so swift to punish other players for far less problematic things.

Sales obviously show that Gunna’s music is now having an impact on listeners. In its first week of sales, one of Wun officially sold 91K units. Gunna is definitely doing his thing, especially when it comes to his physical fitness. The rapper has made waves on social media for his body transformation. Now, he has recently been seen working out with NBA player Bol Bol at the Phoenix Sun’s facility.

Following his release from jail in 2022, Gunna said how he shed up to “30-40 pounds” and how he’s still maintaining his weight. He discussed his body in an open interview that was released by XXL. “Less eating. Especially when I went to jail. I lost a lot of weight. Just like, cleansing. Detoxing. And when I got home, I started working out and just keeping it fit. And now, I’m on a year straight of all working out,” he said. Now he is fit enough to keep up with professional athletes, apparently. His workout with Bol Bol looked intense.

Gunna became serious about his physical fitness. He said in the interview with XXL, “Yes. I got a trainer and work out six days a week. I eat better and I eat clean. And that’s something I’m disciplining myself to do every day. It’s something that I’m liking, though. I feel better when I work out.” He is going all out, and it’s probably helping him musically as well, allowing for better physical performance on stage. In the workout with Bol Bol, we see Gunna go through some explosive workouts as he is training like a real athlete.

Gunna is riding the wave of his new successful album. He is also featured on Tyla’s Jump song and recently shared some behind-the-scenes footage of the video shoot. Will we see Gunna on an NBA court anytime soon? Of course not. Nevertheless, it’s cool seeing him work out with professional hoopers like Bol Bol. Ryan Garcia Is Heated About His Latest Positive Drug Tests

Regarding his most recent drug tests, Ryan Garcia wasn’t pleased with the news. His B-sample, which was taken for his bout against Devin Haney, reportedly tested positive for the illegal drug ostarine on Thursday, according to lab reports. Following tests performed by the Voluntary Anti-Doping Agency (VADA) prior to and following Garcia’s majority decision victory over Haney on April 20, boxing writer Dan Rafael made the results public on Twitter. It is safe to say Ryan was not happy about the results.

Positive test results shouldn’t come as a surprise, though. It is uncommon for an A-sample and B-sample to have different findings. This additional evidence verifies Garcia’s positive test result for the prohibited drug, which was first published on May 1. Ryan Garcia’s victory over Devin Haney was already in doubt, but now, it is officially voided in the minds of fans and may soon be voided entirely. Garcia was already overweight for the fight and that already cost him the opportunity to take Haney’s WBC belt. Ryan Garcia has now responded online with absolutely no chill at all.

He asserted it was all a set-up. What was a career milestone for Ryan Garcia is now a serious low point. Regrettably, Garcia’s career-defining moment was marred by the positive drug test. He defeated Haney by three knockdowns and a decision, but also, with the confirmation of PED usage, could have seriously hurt his opponent. Maybe there is some way for a rematch to ensue, but it seems unlikely anytime soon. Ryan Garcia may be done boxing and may take up trolling online as his new career path. As the number one pick in the WNBA draft, she has massive expectations of her. As a superstar in college, she is looked at as someone who can grow the women’s game and push it forward. Much of the criticism from actual players in the WNBA came weeks ago. While Clark was making her national Championship game run, Diana Taurasi was singled out as being overly negative towards Clark. Criticism isn’t coming from other WNBA players. Rather, they are highlighting the already established stars and other strong rookies outside of Clark instead of making everything about a single player.

She needs too listen when she needs t, and speak up when asked. This is a case of believing everything you see on social media. Charles is likely referring to people who are newcomers to the women’s game trying to score points and give their opinions on a subject they are new to. Why would WNBA players hate on finally flying private during the season? Drake Shows Support For Toronto’s WNBA Expansion Team In First Public Appearance After Kendrick Lamar Beef

Toronto will officially be home to its very own WNBA team soon. Yesterday, the WNBA announced that Toronto will host the newest WNBA expansion team, and Toronto’s biggest star, Drake, popped up to show support. A women’s professional basketball franchise has been awarded to Kilmer Sports Ventures bid. At a press conference held Thursday morning at a downtown Toronto hotel, Drake, Ontario Premier Doug Ford, Scottie Barnes of the Toronto Raptors, and Prime Minister Justin Trudeau were all present for the formal announcement. Furthermore, it is notably Drake’s first public appearance after the Kendrick Lamar feud.

The club hasn’t been named yet and will play home games at the 8,700-seat Coca-Cola Coliseum, located at Exhibition Place in downtown Toronto. They will occasionally be able to move up to the Scotiabank Arena. The WNBA also recently announced another expansion team that is headed to the Bay Area, the Golden State Valkyries. The newest Toronto squad, the first in the league to play outside of the US, will take the court in 2026. Drake is a big NBA fan and is regularly seen courtside at Toronto Raptors games. The rapper will likely be showing support for Toronto’s first WNBA team.

The WNBA continues to grow in popularity. With a strong crop rookies who are porving to be budding stars, and established allstar level players dominating the lague, the WNBA is in a great place. The infamous former NFL star was long believed to have been responsible for the 1994 death of his second wife, Nicole Brown Simpson. After his arrest and highly publicized trial, OJ was acquitted. Now, her family has broken their silence on his passing in a preview ahead of an upcoming Lifetime documentary.

The documentary, The Life And Murder Of Nicole Brown Simpson, is slated for release in two parts. The first part airs on June 1, and the other the following day. In a clip from the highly anticipated doc, Brown’s sisters Denise, Dominque, and Tanya recount some of the alleged abuse she faced at the hands of OJ. According to them, she had been living in fear before her untimely passing. “She always thought he was going to hurt her,” one of her sisters says in a clip. “She always knew it.”

On the most recent episode of “The Big Podcast with Shaq,” the vocal veteran forward for the Warriors chatted with Shaquille O’Neal and was challenged to identify the “biggest hater” in the NBA. Green continued by naming both an NBA player and an outsider. His answers are not very groundbreaking and should be pretty expected if you know anything about Green’s beef in the past.

“The biggest hater outside the NBA is Skip Bayless for sure,” Green told Shaq. “Dude just sits up there and spews hate. I hope I give him a soundbite for his show because it’s dying. Like when you’re hating on LeBron James every single day, for instance, it’s like there’s nothing this man has done to give you something to hate on, like you’re a hater.” Harsh words for the Fox Sports personality. He then turned his attention to his NBA rival, Jusuf Nurkić, naming him the biggest hater in the NBA.

Draymond once again brought up the guy he keeps going back and forth with, Jusuf Nurkić. He said of the Suns Center whom he assaulted last year, “Inside the NBA I’m going to have to go … man that’s a tough one, because guys be trying to hide their hate … biggest hater inside the NBA is [Jusuf] Nurkić. Hater. ‘Oh he need help,’ ‘That brother still need help.’ Like no, you need help. Big softie.” The feud between Green and Nurkić started after Green hit Nurkić in the face during a game on December 12; this led to an extended suspension for Green, and after the game, Nurkić hilariously told reporters that Green “needs help.”

The two then got into an altercation during their next court appearance on February 10. Following the Warriors’ season-ending loss to the Sacramento Kings in the NBA Play-In Tournament, Nurkić shared a GIF of the cartoon character “That’s all folks!” on social media. After seeing that, Green did the same on his podcast, saying, “That’s all folks!” in response to Nurkić and the Phoenix Suns losing to the Minnesota Timberwolves in the opening round of the NBA playoffs. The media gets hours and hours of content with this very prompt because it’s easy and fun to think about. Though it’s entertaining to speculate about how opposing basketball styles and eras would fair against each other, we’ll never get to witness them play, so a definitive response will never be possible. This subject was recently discussed by Shaquille O’Neal and Draymond Green, the star of the Warriors, on The Big Podcast with Shaq.

In a seven-game series, O’Neal questioned whether one of his championship teams, the Lakers, and one from the Warriors would prevail. Green discussed the matchup that, in his opinion, would be most effective in slowing down O’Neal. Draymond broke down the scheme to stop Shaq. What resulted was a question about who would be guarding Shaq’s partner in crime, Kobe Bryant. Drayomds reply was taken as disrespect as the big man had to check Draymond with quickness.

O’Neal questioned Green on who was defending the legendary Kobe Bryant following some more back-and-forth, during which Green stated his belief that the Dubs would win the series. When Green eventually answered, he said, “Klay,” to which O’Neal was ready to drop the subject entirely. “We’ll continue this conversation on your podcast,” O’Neal told Green, basically putting a pin in that comment. Overall, Shaq doesn’t think Klay holds a candle to Kobe Bryant, and rightfully so.
