Whenever LeBron James decides to retire from the NBA, his off-the-court legacy has the potential to be just as great. He’s already the NBA’s first active billionaire player. He’s an actor, owner of the SpringHill Company, and founder of the I Promise charter school.

LeBron James, the 37-year-old “washed king who last year averaged about 27 points last year,” is a man of many hats, and he might add a new one to his hat collection. No, I’m not talking about the Yankee Fitted he’s accustomed to wearing. LeBron, one of all-time greatest NBA players, could host his podcast show.

The four-time NBA Champion took it to Twitter to announce his interest in Podcasts. He said he plans to guest appear on “someone podcast soon.” He also hinted that he could potentially start his show.

It’s uncertain who’s show LBJ is planning to be on, but a few of his NBA peers are in that space. Former NBA shooting guard co-host a podcast show with Tommy Alter called, The Old Man and the Three. Current NBA player, who is currently playing in the NBA Finals, Draymond Green, has a show called The Draymond Green Show. Former NBA Champions Stephen Jackson and Matt Barnes co-host the award-winning All Of The Smoke podcast, and you can’t leave out Knuckleheads with NBA veterans Quentin Richardson and Darius Miles.

If we had to predict that LeBron would be a good show host, watch a few episodes of HBO’s The Shop: Uninterrupted. The Shop is a talk show hosted by LB and businessman Maverick Carter.

Since 18, Lebron has been entertaining the world. At 37, it doesn’t seem like he plans to slow down anytime soon.

Rasheed Wallace Set to Join Los Angeles Lakers Coaching Staff

The Los Angeles Lakers coaching staff won’t take any mess. Joining new Lakers coach Darvin Ham on the sidelines will be former NBA All-Star and Detroit Pistons legend Rasheed Wallace.

According to Shams Charania, Wallace is set to join as an assistant coach, continuing a relationship that started when he and Ham led the Pistons to a championship in 2004.

Wallace last played in the NBA in 2013, and last season spent time with Penny Hardaway as an assistant coach at the University of Memphis. Memphis coach Penny Hardaway teased it days in advance to the Memphis Commercial Appeal.

“I think Rasheed might be going to LA with Darvin Ham. That was the deal from the beginning. If Darvin had gotten a job last year, Rasheed had already promised him that he was going to go with him. So, I’m thinking this year, with him getting the Lakers job, (Wallace) might still be going along with that process.”

The Nike Los Angeles Angels City Connect Jersey pays homage to the beach culture of Southern California. Thanks to popular music, television, and movies, the year-round sunshine, and surf culture formed a big part of the area’s character during the 1950s and 1960s. The uniform features vintage-inspired design components in homage to old baseball and surf stylings. SOURCE SPORTS: Deshaun Watson Hit with Sexual Assault Lawsuit No. 24 Including Graphic Details of Encounter

Deshaun Watson’s sexual assault lawsuit number has hit 24. The new Cleveland Browns quarterback was accused of inappropriate behavior during a massage session.

According to ESPN, the plaintiff stated she massaged Watson twice. The first session was cut short due to a phone call but during the second one, Watson exposed himself and masturbated in front of her. Afterward, Watson did not apologize or offer an explanation, instead, he got up and left. After the event, the plaintiff quit massage therapy.

“Today we filed the twenty-fourth case alleging sexual misconduct against Deshaun Watson,” the attorney for all 24 plaintiffs, Tony Buzbee, said in a statement. “The allegations made in this new case are strikingly similar to those made by many of the other victims. Lost in the media frenzy surrounding Deshaun Watson is that these are twenty-four strong, courageous women who, despite ridicule, legal shenanigans, and intense media scrutiny, continue to stand firm for what is right.”

In response, Watson’s lawyer, Rusty Hardin, stated “happy endings” are common in massage sessions and are not illegal. He also stated Watson engaged in three consensual sex events.

“With that, we’re trying to just be respectful of the process and let that take care of it,” Cleveland Browns coach Kevin Stefanski said of the new lawsuit.

SOURCE SPORTS: Golden State Warriors Wins Game 2 of the NBA Finals 107-88

The Golden State Warriors have bounced back to their championship form as they defeated the Boston Celtics 107-88 last night in the Chase Center.

In game 2, Stephen Curry did Stephen Curry things. Curry finished with 29 points, six rebounds, four assists, and three steals. He also added five crowd electrifying 3-pointers. The Warriors tied the series 1-1.

For the Boston Celtics, Jayson Tatum led the way with 28 points, but most of his damage was in the first half, by scoring 21 points. His running mate Jaylen Brown, the new addition to DONDA Sports, pitched in with 17 points.

The Celtics kept the game close in the first half, as they only trailed 52-50 going into halftime, but a huge third-quarter surge from Golden State separated the two teams. The Warriors outscored the Celtics 35-14 in the third period, leading to a series-tying victory.

The NBA Finals are now tied at 1-1. Game 3 is Wednesday in Boston.

Undefeated lightweight boxing star Devin Haney (28-0) became the undisputed lightweight champion of the world following a dominating performance to collect all four sectioned belts (WBC, WBA, WBO, IBF) in a unanimous-decision dethroning victory over former three-belt titleholder George Kambosos on Sunday (June 5) at Marvel Stadium in Docklands, Australia.

“The game plan was to go there and hit and not get hit and I did that for the majority of the fight,” said the 23-year-old Haney. “I took the last round off just because I knew I was comfortably ahead, but I fought a good, smart fight.”

Further analyzing the fight, Haney continued: “I handicapped him of his best things. He wanted to land the overhand right, and he wanted to land the big left hook … I was fighting both ways. When I would go to the left, I would fight his right hand. When I would go to the right, I would fight his left hook. And he couldn’t hit me with neither one of them.”

The defeated Kambosos expressed he would exercise the rematch clause immediately in the post-fight interview. “Yes, 100 percent … we’ll do it again,” said Kambosos. “Look, I gave him the shot. If I hadn’t given him this shot, he wouldn’t have had his moment right now.”

Haney’s victory comes on the heels of fellow undefeated lightweight champion Gervonta “Tank” Davis delivering a highlight reel knockout to Rolando “Rolly” Romero to defend his lightweight title last week in Brooklyn. Davis has voiced interest in a bout with Haney after Kambosos to determine the true lightweight king.

Drake Sits Courtside to Support J.Cole at His Canadian Basketball Game

In the Hip-Hop world, Drake is a person we would call a “real one.” Not only did the Canadian superstar help land J.Cole a roster spot on the Scarborough Shooting Stars in The Canadian Elite Basketball League, but the 6 God came to support his boy.

Drake sat courtside Saturday night at the Toronto Pan Am Sports Centre, wearing a J.Cole jersey. Unfortunately, Cole and The Shooting Stars fell to the Honey Badgers, 69-84. It marked the team’s third loss of its inaugural season.

Cole landed a deal with the Shooting Stars in May. In his first game, the guard, who stands at 6-foot-3-inches, made a corner 3-pointer en route to a  98-81 win over the Ottawa BlackJacks.

The 2022 NBA Finals evened up at 1-1 after the Golden State Warriors pummeled the Boston Celtics 107-88 in Game 2 from the Chase Center. Stephen Curry had 29 points in the runaway win.

Additionally, both the Celtics and Warriors donned orange shirts with the words “End Gun Violence” on the front and “Learn More” on the back, as well as a list of social media handles for organizations fighting to end gun violence, prior to the game. Those handles included @bradybuzz, @everytown, @giffordscourage, @livefreeusa and @marchforourlives.

Steve Kerr and Ime Udoka, the head coaches of both teams, utilized their pre-game media availability to discuss the issue using the NBA Finals as a platform to raise attention and awareness to the matter.

Both teams will be back in action on Wednesday when The Finals shift to the TD Garden in Boston for game 3.

“Jack Harlow’s glamorized portrayal of horse racing is missing the whips, drugs, and deaths rampant in the industry,” says PETA Senior Vice President Kathy Guillermo. “Profiting from the abuse of others is never acceptable, and PETA is calling on Jack Harlow to pony up and pay for the care of American Thoroughbreds who would otherwise be shipped to foreign slaughterhouses.”

Rich Strike was likely in a frenzy after being whipped and forced to race along with the pandemonium of the winner’s circle. The man continually beat Rich Strike instead of allowing him time to calm down.

PETA uncovers that trainers employ mixtures of medications to enhance horses’ performance and force them to gallop despite agonizing ailments, which increases the danger of catastrophic breakdowns, in a video narrated by Succession star James Cromwell. When horses quit making money, their owners get rid of them.

SOURCE SPORTS: Donovan Mitchell “Unsettled” with Organization After Jazz Coach Steps Down

Donovan Mitchell Inks $195M Extension with Utah Jazz

Cue all the Donovan Mitchell trade rumors for the summer. The Utah Jazz former head coach Quin Snyder stepped down after eight seasons, prompting a new feeling from the Jazz guard. According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, Mithcell is feeling “unsettled, unnerved and wondering what it means for the franchise’s future.”

According to ESPN, Mitchell committed to the Jazz in part of Snyder and is “surprised and disappointed” that Snyder has left.

Some analysts already poked at potential trouble with the Utah Jazz, and Mitchell specifically, after an early exit from the NBA Playoffs. That moment also highlighted the possible rift between Mitchell and Star big man Rudy Gobert.

Donovan Mitchell has four years and $135 million left on his contract, including a player option for the final year.
