Kim Kardashian has built a truly impressive empire as it pertains to her SKIMS brand. Overall, SKIMS has come through with a ton of amazing products over the years. From shapewear to new garments for men, the brand continues to expand. In the Fall, they even announced a brand-new partnership with the NBA. Although some fans expressed skepticism, others acknowledged that this was huge and would lead to more sales amongst men. Now, the brand is estimated to be worth over $4 billion.

However, it seems as though SKIMS is facing some major scrutiny right now. Overall, this is due to the fact that the brand is being sued by a former consumer, according to AllHipHop and The Blast. Essentially, the customer is claiming that SKIMS used spyware on her after she visited the website. Spyware can be used to “trap and trace” your digital footprint. The “consumer privacy advocate who works as a tester” is saying the website is using spyware to then profit off of its customers’ online activity.

Additionally, the woman claims that this has “inflicted both an economic injury and an intangible injury.” So far, SKIMS has not responded to the lawsuit in terms of a public statement. Furthermore, it should be noted that Kim herself is not named in the lawsuit. Instead, the plaintiff is focusing all of her attention on the company itself. It remains to be seen how far the lawsuit will go, and what the woman is looking for in terms of damages.

Kim Kardashian is facing backlash from Greenpeace UK after referencing climate change in the latest promotional video for her SKIMS brand. While promoting the brand’s nipple bra, she joked that the item will be more helpful as the planet’s climate warms.

“Using melting glaciers and rising sea levels as a punchline to improve your profit margins makes a mockery of an issue that is devastating millions of people’s lives,” Greenpeace wrote in response on Instagram. “We desperately need global icons like Kim to champion the fight against climate change. Sadly, this isn’t what’s happening here. Kim’s new advert perpetuates the harmful profit-driven system accelerating the climate crisis, and diverts attention away from more impactful actions, like the UN Global Plastics Treaty, which offer a real chance for systemic change.”

As for the SKIMS video, Kim said: “The Earth’s temperature is getting hotter and hotter. The sea levels are rising. The ice sheets are shrinking. Kim Kardashian had fans doing a double-take in recently released adverts for SKIMS’ holiday line. The retro-inspired campaign sees Kardashian with noticeably bronzed skin and considerably lighter hair. She appears on the faux-magazine covers in a number of 60s-inspired outfits, including a daring furry halter top and g-string combination. The entire shoot screams vintage Playboy, but fans, who mostly approved of the look, were also taken aback at just how major the transformation to Kardashian was.

Meanwhile, staying with the fashion theme, Kardashian also gave her fans an exclusive look at the fitting of her Balenciaga gown for a recent shoot. The gown, which Kardashian wore to the LACMA Art + Festival last week, is a tight-fit hot pink wraparound number with extensive train. On Instagram, Kardashian shared a number of images from her Paris fitting. Namely, these images show Kardashian floating through ornate Parisian drawing rooms with the dress artfully falling off her.

Furthermore, in the latest episode of The Kardashians, Kim gave a crucial update on her dating intentions. Across the episode, Kim reiterated her desire to remain single for at least two years, noting that she was about halfway through that goal after breaking up with Pete Davidson. “I’ve got a year to go. Kim Kardashian is not looking for a new relationship. In the most recent episode of The Kardashians, Kim K revealed that she wants to remain single for another year.

Speaking with celebrity hairstylist Chris Appleton, Kardashian revealed that she goes “back and forth” about the possibility of another wedding. After being reminded she would like two years of being single, she agreed that the timeline was accurate.

“So I’ve got a year to go,” Kardashian said. “I think that will be really good for me. Not looking, they seem to find me, but I’m not looking.”

Kim Kardashian is keeping busy with work. In a groundbreaking collaboration, the National Basketball Association (NBA) and SKIMS have announced a multiyear partnership designating SKIMS as the official underwear partner for the NBA, Women’s National Basketball Association (WNBA), and USA Basketball.

Patrick Mahomes Becomes Newest Model For SKIMS

Patrick Mahomes, along with his wife and two children, has become the latest athlete to post for SKIMS, Kim Kardashian’s shapewear brand. The whole Mahomes family dressed up in classic plaid flannel to promote the brand’s impending holiday shop. Last year, Snoop and his family promoted the brand for the holiday season. However, Kardashian stuck with the athletics theme given the recent launch of a SKIMS menswear line. Previously, Niners defensive star Nick Bosa was one of the initial models for SKIMS’ menswear line.

Mahomes expressed his excitement at the campaign. “This is our first campaign as a family, and shooting for SKIMS all together was an awesome moment,” he told TMZ of their involvement. Mahomes is currently on a bye week after leading the Chiefs to victory over the Dolphins in Germany last weekend. The team is next in action against the Eagles in a Monday Night Football clash on November 20.

Charles Barkley Presses Adam Silver On Domestic Violence

However, it’s not all been brand promotion for Silver. Charles Barkley used Silver’s appearance on Inside The NBA to confront the league executive about the sharp rise in domestic violence incidents involving NBA players. Silver appeared completely caught off guard by the question. Eventually, he stammered his way through an answer that essentially boiled to “We tell the players that violence is bad”. However, while Silver said that the “consequences are enormous” for the players, the opposite rings true in practice.

The league only suspended repeat offender Miles Bridges for 10 games. Furthermore, they argued that he served 20 games of the original 30-game suspension by being a free agent last season. Meanwhile, Bridges was arrested in recent weeks for violating his protective order against his original victim. Meanwhile, the NBA has said nothing other than the league being “aware of the situation” when it comes to the Kevin Porter Jr. situation. Of course, Silver is never going to say anything revolutionary when it comes to domestic violence. However, it’s far from the answer that Barkley’s question warranted.
