Former Motown CEO Says She Will Not Testify Against Diddy

The ongoing saga of Diddy’s sexual misconduct and sex trafficking allegations has taken some unexpected twists and turns, with several notables being named in the lawsuit filed by Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones. The suit includes claims against a major label executive who vehemently denies any allegations and contends that there is nothing she could take the stand and say to testify against Mr. Sean Combs.

Former Motown Records chief executive officer Ethiopia Habtemariam was named in Jones’ lawsuit as a willing participant in a drug- and sex-trafficking ring for the mogul’s alleged “RICO enterprise.” Habtemariam was specifically accused of being aware that alcoholic beverages served at his parties were laced with illegal substances. She denied all allegations made against her and with Jones’ attorney eventually dropping her from the suit, Habtemariam wants the world to know that under no circumstances will she be taking the stand against Diddy.

The 44-year-old exec made a statement yesterday(April 1) via AllHipHop, stating, “I am informed and believe that Mr. Blackburn has falsely represented to various social media sites and other media outlets that I agreed to ‘testify against’ Mr. Combs,” she shared. “This is completely untrue. I have no personal knowledge of any alleged wrongdoing by Mr. Combs and there is nothing I could testify to that would be against his interest.” She added, “Being falsely accused of criminal conduct is deeply upsetting to me. I did no wrong. I never saw or participated in any alleged racketeering enterprise, and I never saw, aided or, abetted, or tried to conceal any sex trafficking activity. In short, there is no basis for any of the claims asserted against me, and I should never have been named a defendant in this lawsuit.”

According to a preface in the court documents of Lil Rod’s case, the lawsuit contains “highly graphic information of a sexual nature, including sexual assault. Additionally, there are graphic images of the aftermath of a shooting, redacted images of sexual intercourse, redacted images of minors, sex workers, and prostitutes, details of sex trafficking, the illegal distribution of guns, and drugs.”

Diddy’s lawyer denied all claims in the suit in a statement to HipHopDX, saying, “Lil Rod is nothing more than a liar who filed a $30million lawsuit shamelessly looking for an undeserved payday. His reckless name-dropping about events that are pure fiction and simply did not happen is nothing more than a transparent attempt to garner headlines.” The statement goes on saying, “We have overwhelming, indisputable proof that his claims are complete lies. Our attempts to share this proof with [Lil Rod]’s attorney, Tyrone Blackburn, have been ignored, as Mr. Blackburn refuses to return our calls.”

Tiffany Haddish Breaks Silence Surrounding ‘Explicit’ Sketch Amid Molestation Allegations

Tiffany Haddish Weighs In On Wearing Bonnets In Public Controversy

Tiffany Haddish is speaking out about an explicit sketch she was featured in that is now at the center of a sexual misconduct lawsuit.

In an Instagram post on Monday, the actress said she “deeply regrets” agreeing to act in the comedy sketch six years ago alongside comedian Aries Spears. The Girls Trip actress added she wanted to shed more light on the matter but couldn’t due to the ongoing legal case.

“I know people have a bunch of questions. I get it. I’m right there with you,” Haddish says in her statement. “Unfortunately, because there is an ongoing legal case, there’s very little that I can say right now.”

Haddish continues, “But, clearly, while the sketch was intended to be comedic, it wasn’t funny at all — and I deeply regret having agreed to act in it. I really look forward to being able to share a lot more about this situation as soon as I can.”

This acknowledgement comes after a lawsuit was filed in Los Angeles Superior Court last week, alleging the two comedians groomed and coerced two siblings, aged 7 and 14 at the time, to take part in sexually explicit skits on two separate occasions.  According to the lawsuit, the seven-year-old appeared in a sketch titled “Through A Pedophile’s Eyes,” as reported by The Daily Beast.

Attorneys for Haddish and Spears, have dismissed the explicit lawsuit as a shakedown. This story is still developing.

[SOURCE SPORTS] Deshaun Watson Handed 11 Game Suspension and $5M Fine for Sexual Misconduct Allegations

The NFL and the National Football League Players Association have come to an agreement on an 11 game suspension for Cleveland Browns player Deshaun Watson.  He was previously suspended for 6 games by retired federal Judge Sue L. Robinson for violations of the NFL personal conduct policy related to sexual misconduct or assault allegations, made by over 20 women.  Last week the league appealed the 6 game suspension and NFL commissioner Roger Goodell called for at least a full-year of suspension.

Now the Cleveland Browns QB says he’s grateful the disciplinary process is over. Watson said he’s “extremely appreciative” of the support he has received from the Browns organization. He will also be fined $5M for violating the league’s policy on top of the 11 games he’ll be forced to sit out. Watson said he apologizes for any pain he’s caused in this situation and is focused on being the best version of himself he can be going forward.

The National Organization for Women criticsized Watson’s punishment.  The group said Watson’s 11-game suspension is “nowhere near enough.”  President Christian Nunes said women need more than empty words and half-measures. Nunes noted the culture of “toxic masculinity” within the NFL must change.

Browns owners Dee and Jimmy Haslam insisted in a statement released following the  disciplinary action that they’re committed to investing into programs in Ohio that educate youth about awareness and prevention regarding sexual misconduct.

Deshaun Watson Met With Cheers at Practice After Receiving Suspension

NFL commissioner Roger Goodell is calling for at least a full-year suspension for Cleveland Browns’ quarterback Deshaun Watson.

Goodell said the evidence from sexual misconduct allegations against Watson, 26 shows “egregious” actions and “predatory behavior.”

“We’ve seen the evidence,” Goodell said at a press conference on Tuesday. “[Robinson] was very clear about the evidence, should we enforce the evidence. That there was multiple violations here, and they were egregious, and it was predatory behavior. Those are things that we always felt were important for us to address in a way that’s responsible,” according to The Hill.

Seeking a harsher penalty under its personal conduct policy, the league last week appealed the six-game suspension handed down to the quarterback by a retired federal Judge Sue L. Robinson.

Watson is expected to start in Friday night’s game against the Jaguars in Jacksonville despite facing a potentially lengthy suspension. He’s allowed to play in the preseason games and practice following his suspension, which is being appealed by the NFL.

Jacoby Brissett is expected to start when the regular season opens in Charlotte against the Panthers on Sunday, September 11th.

Former New Jersey Attorney General Peter Harvey will hear the appeal.  There’s no timetable on when a ruling will be made.

DJ Tim Westwood Faces Sexual Misconduct Claims From Seven Black Women

Screen Shot 2022 04 27 at 2.40.20 AM

Several reports have confirmed that legendary UK Hip Hop DJ Tim Westwood is facing sexual misconduct allegations from seven women, all of whom are Black. Two of the women claim that Westwood used his status in the music industry in order to make sexual advances towards them.

A BBC Three documentary about Westwood titled Tim Westwood: Abuse of Power chronicles the allegations made against Westwood, with numerous women saying that he used his name to normalize unwanted sexual behavior. Four of the women even claimed that Westwood inappropriately touched them at music events.

With allegations going back as far as 1992 and as recent as 2017, the Black women who came forward with their story in Tim Westwood: Abuse of Power say that they were hesitant to make their claims public because of the fear that their allegations would be dismissed because of their race.

Westwood’s rep told UK’s The Guardian that the accusations against him were totally false and “Any suggestion that he acts, or has acted, in the way described would be false and seriously defamatory.”

TheSource.com will update this story as more details develop.
