Scrappy Warns Married Couples After Papoose And Remy Ma Cheating Scandal

Wednesday night was rough for Papoose and Remy Ma. The latter blasted her longtime husband, and fellow rapper, Papoose, on Instagram. She accused Papoose of cheating on her with professional boxer Claressa Shields. She posted screenshots of a text conversation between the rapper and Shields and the internet had a meltdown. Remy had previously been accused of being unfaithful. Scrappy was one of these critics. The Love & Hip Hop Star has changed his tune, though.

Scrappy hopped on Instagram on Thursday to address Remy Ma’s bombshell. He ultimately saw it as a teachable moment. “It’s very unfortunate,” Scrappy admitted. “But we don’t know what folks be going through behind closed doors.” The rapper then dove into a discussion about marriage, and the difficulties that ensue. “That sh*t is hard,” he remarked. “You gotta have the right person.” He then warned other couples to not make the same mistakes as Papoose and Remy. As far as Scrappy is concerned, finding the right person means avoiding a lot of turmoil. “If you the right person it won’t be so hard,” he stressed.

Conversely, if you are with the wrong person, than Scrappy believes it’s a losing game. The rapper told his Instagram followers that it takes a very strong person to recover from being cheated on. He doesn’t make any bones about it. He also credits dishonesty and cheating for being the reason why some people do not want to get married again. “If you ain’t strong enough,” Scrappy posited. “You’ll probably never do it again.” It’s fascinating to contrast the rapper’s statement with his previous comments about Remy and Papoose.

Scrappy vented about the Papoose situation in January. He believed the New York rapper was not getting sympathy he deserved. “Ain’t nobody standing up for Papoose saying, ‘Aw man, we sorry that sh*t happened to you,” Scrappy posited. “‘Shawty did you dirty!’ We ain’t hearing none of that sh*t, my n**ga.” The rapper did admit, in retrospect, that he didn’t really “know what happened” when he spoke on the matter.

Bambi is celebrating her new relationship, and her man seems like he’s also in it for the long run. Moreover, they recently shared a video of him giving her a promise ring, which was a very wholesome moment and one that sparked a lot of romantic debate in the comments section of the Instagram post below. However, it was also a moment of catharsis and clapping back for the Love & Hip Hop alum, or at least, that’s what she could have seen it as. If you didn’t hear, her ex husband Lil Scrappy recently said that he doesn’t even like her.

“I just do not like her. That’s the difference,” Lil Scrappy said of Bambi on social media, clarifying that he wouldn’t go as far as to “hate” her since his dislike is not that deep. “Hate is a strong word, strong word. I just don’t even have the energy for that s**t anymore. It’s about getting money and taking care of them kids, man. I don’t even look that way. I just keep moving, get my money. Do what I’ve been trying to do for the longest, like, I’m doing it.”

But this is all pretty ironic because, for the most part, Bambi doesn’t really stoop to Lil Scrappy’s level when talking about their relationship. For example, when he announced he’s expecting another child with another woman, she seemed to respond with the announcement of her new children’s book. “A New Baby For Us” is about a group of siblings learning about how one of their parents will bring them one more sibling. Sounds kind of familiar, doesn’t it?

Regardless, as Lil Scrappy celebrates his new phase of life, Bambi is busy celebrating hers with a new man. We wonder how else their paths could overlap, as their coparenting relationship definitely faced some ups and downs in the two years or so since their split. Hopefully they can navigate these new eras respectfully and amicably, and without putting each other down too much. Bambi Appears To Respond To Lil Scrappy Expecting Another Child With A Woman

Lil Scrappy surprised fans this week when he posted up at a baby shower with his baby mama Shakira, who’s child – his fifth – is on the way. They’re very excited to welcome their boy in the world, although it’s unclear if they actually have a relationship or if they will just remain amicable coparents. Regardless, it seems like Scrappy’s ex wife and fellow Love & Hip Hop alum Bambi Benson responded to this news. She announced her children’s book on Saturday (November 2), which is called “A New Baby For Us.” Bambi shared the cover, encouraged users to pre-order it for ten dollars, and revealed that it’s about explaining a partner’s new baby to that partner’s kids, seemingly a reflection of the former couple’s children.

“When their dad announces they’re getting a new sibling, the three children have lots of questions,” Bambi’s book description reads, apparently mirroring Lil Scrappy’s unborn child. “As they adjust to the idea of a growing family, they learn that love doesn’t divide, it multiples! Meanwhile, Erica Dixon – the mother of Lil Scrappy’s oldest child – seemingly hasn’t addressed his unborn child yet. Maybe she, like a lot of fans, has more questions than answers about the whole thing. But at the end of the day, it’s none of our business. Lil Scrappy and Keyshia Cole are going at it online after the former questioned the latter’s relationship with Hunxho. After she heard that he was calling into question the authenticity of their bond and accusing their labels of pushing them together, she blasted him on Twitter. “And what hurts the most is SCRAPPY SAYING THAT S**T!” Cole expressed. “Naw nicca u get paid to (Fake a relationship) like U SAID. Like what are they even talking about. Tryna get clicks. Hopefully this helps.” Turns out that L&HH: Atlanta star didn’t respond with the same energy, instead trolling her by playing her song “Love” on Instagram Live.

“Lord have mercy, can we get a Grammy for this one?” Lil Scrappy remarked to the camera, given that Keyshia Cole actually lost the award for this song back in the day. However, there is a pretty ironic element to all of this discussion that a lot of folks have seemingly missed. Both Scrappy and Hunxho starred in Sexyy Red’s music video with Summer Walker for “I Might,” as the latter acted as Sexyy’s new boo and the former as her ex. As such, maybe they are closer than folks think and there’s actually some truth to this, but for the most part, it seems like folks are just going about the wrong way to react to an unexpected but still legit relationship.

In it, she asks her mom to dance or “go back to her baby daddy,” and then added the following caption to the video in question. “She not dancing hard enough yall… i think she going back,” Emani wrote, much to fans’ gossip-fueled amusement. It seems like Keyshia Cole would still have plenty of ammunition to fire back at him with if they chose to really air out each other’s flings.

Meanwhile, the hit song “Love” is still getting plenty of it today, including a recent cover of it from Puma Curry, Erykah Badu’s daughter. It’s an ironic song to soundtrack all this back and forth, though. We’ll see whether there is any more to talk about here in the near future. After all, Keyshia Cole and Scrappy don’t back down easy, and we all know that there’s a lot of beef in the air right now.
