Future Seemingly Wants To Revive His Feud With Russell Wilson On Quavo’s ‘Turn Yo Clic Up’

Future and Quavo reignited their creative chemistry on Quavo’s new single “Turn Yo Clic Up,” but that isn’t the only thing being revived. It seems Future’s been carrying a torch for Russell Wilson all this time, and he drops a couple of lines on the song that has fans believing he’s stoking the flames of his one-sided rivalry with his ex-flame Ciara‘s current husband.

In his verse, Future throws out the line, “Big dawg status, bill hopper / I ball in his mall for my brothers / Goyard bag, tote the cutter / I got it out the field, fuck Russell.” The punchline plays on rappers referencing “the field” — i.e. “the streets,” “the mud,” “the trap” — with Wilson’s occupation as quarterback for the NFL’s Denver Broncos. Here’s the track:

Future has seemingly long resented Wilson; after splitting up with Future, with whom she shares one child, in 2014, Ciara moved on with Russell Wilson in 2016. They were married in July of that year, and ever since, it seems Future can’t seem to help throwing petty shots at Wilson, despite co-parenting with Ciara. In 2019, he accused Wilson of “not being a man in that position,” after Ciara responded to him naming her in his song “My Collection. (Seems like she’d stop talking about him if he’d stop talking about her, though. Also, he was the one who allegedly blew it, so he’s kind of throwing stones from a glass house.)

Russell has, thus far, shrugged off Future’s antics — which could all just be pantomime for fans of his “toxic” persona, anyway.

Future Delivers "MASSAGING ME" Video from 'I NEVER LIKED YOU' Album

Somewhere in Denver, Russell Wilson is getting ready for training camp and his second season with the Broncos. Then out of nowhere, he catches a stray from his wife’s ex-boyfriend. Future revisited his romance with Ciara, but mainly to diss Wilson.

The diss occurred on Quavo’s new single “Turn Yo Clic Up,” where Future can be heard rapping: “I got it out the field, fuck Russell.” Future also name-dropped Lori Harvey and Dess Dior.

And, of course, the timeline is eating it up:

NFL quarterback Russell Wilson and musician Ciara wed on July 6, 2016, at a ceremony in England. They had met in 2015, about a year after Wilson divorced his first wife. At the time of their marriage, Wilson was playing for the Seattle Seahawks. coming off a year where he had broken multiple single-season records for the team. Meanwhile, Ciara released her album Jackie in 2015, which peaked at #17. She also had two charting singles – “I Bet” (#43) and “Dance Like We’re Making Love” (#100).

Although, Wilson, who now plays for the Broncos, does have a copperish aspect to his new current uniform. However, we do know that they shared some very sweet messages for each other on Instagram.

Russell Wilson Shares Proud Dad Moment: Video

Russell Wilson’s first season with the Denver Broncos didn’t go according to plan. The Broncos were anything but a success last season. With many looking at Wilson as one of the issues with the team. However, the Broncos have already made some massive changes ahead of next season. Including bringing in new head coach Sean Payton. Now the pieces are coming together for Denver to prove that last year was indeed a fluke. However, football isn’t the only thing that defines who Wilson is.

The Denver quarterback has long talked about how important his family is to him. Wilson shares many moments with his children and wife, Ciara, on his social media accounts. On Sunday, Wilson shared a cool moment between a father and son. Wilson and Ciara’s 8-year-old son Future Zahir is seen in the video practicing his swing for baseball season. Suddenly, Wilson captured a moment the two will remember forever. Zahir hit his first ever homerun. The moment sent both into a frenzy. Check out the video below.

Russell Wilson Loves The Role Of Dad

“His first Home Run way over the fence! 2 hours post game.. Future taking ground balls, pop flies & extra swings. Right before Sun down! Anything worth having, we all have to work for!!! Proud dad moment,” Wilson tweeted on Sunday. Wilson is no stranger to the baseball diamond himself. The Super Bowl-winning quarterback was drafted by the Colorado Rockies coming out of college. Obviously, Wilson felt that football would be the best path for him to take.

Choosing football does seem like the right choice in hindsight. Wilson saw a lot of success in his tenure as the starting quarterback for the Seattle Seahawks. However, recently former teammates seem to believe that Wilson was hindering the team during his time there. But it can’t be denied that Wilson and the Seahawks celebrated many accolades during their time together. Do you believe Russell Wilson will have a career resurgence next year in Denver? Let us know in the comment section below. For the latest NFL news, keep it right here with HNHH.

Russell Wilson Puts Future’s Son’s Wide Receiver Skills On Full Display

Russell Wilson had a very difficult season with the Denver Broncos last year. Overall, the Broncos were not good at all. Although they were poised to have an amazing season, Wilson found himself having the worst numbers of his career. However, the team has gotten a new head coach in Sean Payton, who some believe could be the savior of the team. Needless to say, there is a very real possibility that the Broncos have a resurgence this year. Only time will tell whether or not that will be the case.

Throughout the offseason, Russell Wilson has been hard at work, making sure that he doesn’t have another horrendous season. Moreover, he has been spending some time with his kids, as well as his step-son, Future Zahir. Of course, this is Future’s son with Ciara. Over the years, Russ has taken a large role in raising Future Zahir, much to the dismay of weirdos on Twitter. Recently, Wilson has been helping Future Zahir when it comes to playing wide receiver. Overall, the kid has a ton of talent.

Russell Wilson Is Training The Youth

In the video clip up above, Russell Wilson can be seen in the gym, throwing the ball to Future. Additionally, the kid is showcasing a ton of natural talent by making some one-handed grabs. Moreover, Wilson played with his daughter Sienna. It seemed like some good old-fashioned family fun. In the Instagram clip, Wilson wrote, “One Handed? Too Easy! Future soon to be @NFL 1st Rounder & Yes Girls play Football too! Sienna loves her Sundays!” If you can find a way to hate on this, well, you are likely beyond saving.

Subsequently, Wilson will be attending training camp with his teammates. There are plenty of narratives surrounding the quarterback, and we’re sure he is eager to shake off some of the negative labels that exist out there. Hopefully, the Broncos get a bit better, and actually contend in a crowded AFC West. Let us know what you think, in the comments section below. Russell Wilson Reacts To Report That He Wanted Pete Carroll Fired

Russell Wilson used to be one of the best quarterbacks in the entire NFL. However, over these past few years, he has not been as good as he used to be. Furthermore, there have been all sorts of reports about the preferential treatment he gets from management. We have also seen various former teammates of Wilson’s come out and say that he doesn’t like talking to his guys. This is certainly odd behavior from a quarterback and it is not conducive to a winning culture. Just ask the Denver Broncos who stunk this past season.

Now, a new report from The Athletic is suggesting that Wilson was actively trying to get his former head coach fired. No, we are not talking about Nathaniel Hackett. During his last season in Seattle, Wilson reportedly wanted Pete Carroll fired in favor of Sean Payton. However, the Seahawks organization made it clear that that wasn’t going to happen. Instead, they kept Carroll and traded Wilson. In the end, the Seahawks won as they made the playoffs while the Broncos were embarrassed.

Russell Wilson Speaks

Subsequently, Wilson has responded to the report from The Athletic. As you can see in the tweet above, he is denying that this ever happened. Furthermore, Wilson was also complimentary of his former head coach. “I love Pete and he was a father figure to me and John believed in me and drafted me as well,” Wilson said. “I never wanted them fired. All any of us wanted was to win. l’ll always have respect for them and love for Seattle.” Of course, this could just be a statement to save face. However, for now, one must take Wilson’s word at face value.

No matter what, this is a very bad look for Wilson. His reputation has taken a massive hit over the last few years, and it is going to take a while before it builds back up again. Whether or not Sean Payton can fix him, still remains to be seen. If one thing is for sure, however, Payton will hold him accountable. Stay tuned to HNHH for more news and updates from around the football world.

Stephen A. Smith Goes Scorched Earth On Russell Wilson

Stephen A. Smith is notorious for speaking his mind on all things related to the wide world of sports. However, it should be noted that Smith is fair in his assessments. He never goes after people who simply do not deserve it. Overall, he just wants to hold these athletes accountable, which is certainly a noble cause. Although he is mostly a basketball guy, there is no doubt that Smith knows quite a bit about football. Whenever he talks about the sport, he brings that same passion and fire he does to the game of basketball.

Over these last few months, Stephen A. has had to talk a lot about Russell Wilson. Ever since being traded to the Denver Broncos, Wilson has been awful. The team didn’t even come close to the postseason this year, and Wilson was dreadful to watch. Furthermore, his play was so bad that he ended up getting his head coach fired. Now, there are reports that he was trying to get Pete Carroll fired in Seattle. While Wilson denies this, Smith is still taking issue with Russ, who has been a bit of a diva these last couple of years.

Stephen A. Popped Off On “First Take”

In the video clip above from this morning’s First Take, it is clear just how strongly Smith feels about all of this. In fact, one could even Stephen A. as going scorched earth on the quarterback. Overall, his comments were quite piercing, and there is no doubt that many others feel the exact same way about Wilson. “Russell Wilson this past season stunk so much they smelt him from the Mile High City to South Beach to damn L.A. That’s how bad he was,” Smith said. This is a very strongly-worded take, although he’s not wrong. Russ was horrible last year, and he must be better.

For the Broncos, this year will be make-or-break for them in the Russell Wilson era. Sean Payton is coming in as the head coach, and if he has another losing season, it will be an embarrassment. Hopefully, for Broncos fans, the old Russ returns. If he doesn’t, then that fanbase will never forgive the front office for making that trade.
