Shy Glizzy Is Alive Despite Rumors

Earlier this week, some reports surfaced suggesting that Shy Glizzy was dead. For obvious reasons, the news was shocking and managed to sadden those who believed it. Fortunately, however, it appears as though he’s still very much alive, according to his DJ. The DJ, DJ Flow, took to Twitter to set the record straight, even providing fans with proof that Shy’s still kicking. “SHY GLIZZY IS ALIVE F*CK IS WRONG WITH YALL,” he wrote.

He then went on to share a screenshot of a text conversation between him and the DC rapper, in which he asks his friend to confirm. “Just confirm with me you good bro,” he tells Shy Glizzy. Glizzy then responds with a photo, letting the DJ know that he’s okay. “For the weirdos who need confirmation,” DJ Flow captioned the image.

It appears as though the rumors all began when a local news outlet reported that he was the victim of a fatal shooting. They later followed up with a correction, confirming that the individual shot wasn’t Shy Glizzy. They also went on to reveal that the person who was shot hadn’t died either. “@Jefe is alive and the person shot tonight is conscious and breathing and isn’t him!!!” the outlet wrote. It’s safe to say that fans are relieved to hear that Shy Glizzy is still alive. With that being said, this isn’t the only shocking controversy he’s been a part of lately.

Earlier this year, it was reported that the rapper allegedly threatened to kill his ex-girlfriend, Amaya Colon. In her request for a restraining order, the model accused her ex of having “anger issues.” She went on to detail an alleged incident which saw Shy Glizzy follow her in her vehicle and bang on her windows with a firearm. He denies ever threatening Colon. In July, it was revealed that the artist won’t be facing charges in the case, as the court was unable to find sufficient evidence. Colon appears to still have a temporary restraining order against her ex.

Nicki Minaj Shuts Down Rumors Of Tupac Sample On “Pink Friday 2”

Nicki Minaj struck down claims that she sampled Tupac on her upcoming album. With Pink Friday 2 set to release on Nov. 17th, marking Nicki’s first album in five years, the Queen Of Rap has been previewing new music online. However, the highly-anticipated project has also been subject to much speculation and rumors. One fan page took to Twitter to allege that she sampled an iconic Tupac song for the project. “Nicki Minaj samples Tupac’s ‘Picture Me Rollin” in new untitled track on her upcoming album Pink Friday 2,” the tweet reads.

The Pink Friday rapper is undoubtedly among the most vocal artists on social media, frequently interacting with the Barbz and setting records straight when needed. Unfortunately, it doesn’t seem as though we’ll be hearing Nicki rap over the iconic sample as she shut down the rumors on Twitter shortly after the claims emerged. “No tf I did not,” Nicki wrote in response. Still, the fan, who tweets under the handle @NickiMinajAccess, celebrated the acknowledgment from Nicki as a win.

Most recently, she unveiled the single, “Red Ruby Da Sleeze” as a teaser for what’s to come.

Earlier this week, Nicki dropped off a snippet of new music earlier this week. The R&B-infused record gained significant traction online, propelling Pink Friday 2 into one of the biggest trending topics on Twitter. Hopefully, a new single arrives before the month comes to an end. Fans definitely deserve some new heat from Nicki to ride out to for the final weeks of the summer. Recently, a source spoke with TMZ, reportedly giving the outlet some inside knowledge about Britney Spears’ marriage. The pop icon only got married to model Sam Asghari a couple months back, but apparently, a split is imminent. The source claims that the couple’s relationship has taken a turn for the worst following a recent argument. Allegedly, Asghari accused Spears of cheating on him, leading to a blowout.

“It’s only a matter of time before Sam files for divorce,” the source told TMZ. At this point, it’s unclear whether or not the cheating rumors are true, but according to the outlet, Asghari believed them. Though it’s surprising that their union seems to have gone south so soon, these aren’t the first reports of trouble in paradise. Earlier this year, various “reliable insiders” told the outlet they had gotten into some pretty ugly altercations. Shockingly, the altercations even allegedly turned physical at times, allegedly. These reports quickly led fans to worry about both Spears and Asghari.

In May, sources told the outlet that the tension between the two had caused Asghari to take time away from their shared residence. The claims raised some concerns among Spears’ fans, amid reports that she had developed an “increasing reliance” on him. Allegedly, however, security personnel had needed to get involved, making it clear they’d benefit from some space from each other.

According to TMZ, Asghari has had enough of Spears’ behavior, which has been unpredictable as of late. Her behavior, however, doesn’t come as too much of a surprise as she’s gone through quite a bit in recent years. Following the #FreeBritney movement and her subsequent release from her controversial conservatorship, some concerning claims began to surface about her. Jenner spent the evening with rumored boyfriend Bad Bunny, while Kim spent most of her time with Tristan Thompson. Though Kim could have just been enjoying a night on the town, a new clip of her at the event has gotten social media users talking. In the clip, Drake is seen performing, running up a staircase where Kim is standing. Kim greets him with a big smile just before he passes her by.

Kim’s behavior at the concert is raising some eyebrows, and some are even calling back to claims made by her ex-husband. Throughout Kim’s marriage to Kanye West, he accused her various times of having an affair with Drake. This is also something that Kim addressed on an episode of The Kardashians, adamantly denying the claims.

Lizzo And Myke Wright Are Still Together, Spokesperson Claims

For those who don’t know, the past couple of weeks have been intense for Lizzo, to say the least. The songstress was hit with a lawsuit from some former backup dancers, who accused her of sexual harassment and creating a hostile working environment. She was additionally accused of body-shaming one of the dancers, going against everything Lizzo’s preached to fans over the years. Amid the fallout, internet sleuths also noticed that Lizzo had unfollowed her partner, Myke Wright, who she’s been with for approximately two years.

He unfollowed her too, and she went on to delete all photos of him on her social media profiles. This, of course, led users to speculate. Despite rumors that they could have split amid her newfound legal trouble, they’re apparently still very much an item. A spokesperson for the “Juice” performer spoke with DailyMail today (August 11), to set the record straight. They told the outlet that there is “no truth” to claims that the couple has broken up, squashing speculation.

Reportedly, a source added fuel to the fire earlier this week when they told The Sun that they had split. “Lizzo has taken the past few weeks very hard and her relationship has suffered,” they claimed, “They had a big falling out earlier in the week and she is really upset.” The source continued, “Both of them have thought of themselves as soulmates, so it has been really hard on them. Those close to them are hoping they will make up.”

Fortunately for Lizzo, it looks like she still has Wright in her corner. Things have only been compounded this past week, as it was reported that six additional former dancers came forward with allegations against the artist. LL Cool J Squashes Rumors That Biggie Dissed Him: “That’s 100 Percent False”

During a recent conversation on Sway in the Morning, LL Cool J cleared up some ongoing speculation. Earlier this year, journalist Bonsu Thompson shared his theory with Sway that The Notorious B.I.G. dissed LL Cool J on his 1994 Ready to Die track, “Who Shot Ya?” The rapper, however, denies this. LL Cool J took the opportunity to set the record straight, claiming that the rumors aren’t true. According to him, he even tagged along with Biggie while he wrote the iconic track.

“I need him to stick to his day job, and if that is his day job, he might wanna reassess that sh*t,” he jokingly said of Thompon. “I got love for him, I’m just teasing.” LL continued, “No, that’s not true. I’m in the studio when Biggie wrote ‘Who Shot Ya?’ Like, I was literally in the studio when he made the song. I was literally, physically in the studio with Notorious B.I.G. when he wrote ‘Who Shot Ya?’” The artist goes on, “I said ‘Biggie, why you smoke so much weed when you write these joints?’ He said, ‘It makes me feel like I’m in the track,’ and we just started laughing.“

The specific lyric Thompson cited in support of his theory was “Old school, new school need to learn though.“ LL Cool J says, however, that Biggie was simply making a broad statement. “He was doing what rappers do: ‘Old school, new School.’ He’s saying whoever want it, can get it. That’s regular … Now it’s about selling swag, and that’s okay, I’m not judging but I’m just saying, that’s 100 percent false.”

“Who Shot Ya?” is also widely accepted to be a diss track toward 2Pac, and is known to have fueled the famous beef between him and Biggie. As a response to the track, 2Pac later released “Hit ‘Em Up” in 1996, only months before he was fatally shot.

Bradley Beal Literally Calls Cap On Cooper Flagg Rumors

Earlier this week, rumors began to fly about the Phoenix Suns’ Bradley Beal. According to former NBA player Brian Scalabrine, Beal got into a verbal altercation with highly-touted high school prospect Cooper Flagg at a basketball camp hosted by Jayson Tatum. Flagg is currently the #2 player in the Class of 2025. However, as one NBA scout put it, “He will be the No. 1 pick,” one scout told Heavy Sports. “It is just a matter of what year he comes in. But even if he were to get hurt or something, he’d probably be No. 1 still.”

“I heard a rumor that my boy Cooper Flagg was at Jayson Tatum’s camp and he was busting Brad Beal 1-on-1, and Brad Beal got mad at him. Started cussing him out,” Scalabrine said. “This dude is a major trash-talker. … So I guess the rumor is that Brad Beal and him were squaring off 1-on-1 and Brad Beal was taking it lightly. It’s a high school kid. Then Cooper started giving it to him. And I guess the rumor is, Cooper started talking trash and Bradley Beal got mad. Really mad,” Scalabrine said on his radio show. While a wild rumor, Scalabrine has worked with Flagg in the past. However, Bradley Beal has since addressed these claims.

Beal reacted to the news in the comments of a post about the drama. “Huh? ,” Beal wrote on Instagram. So what’s the real story? Beal’s reaction is hard to gauge. At the very least, the camp likely happened and Flagg may have played 1-on-1 against Beal at one point. However, that’s likely where the truth likely diverges. Flagg likely bragged to Scalabrine or someone else that he “totally cooked” Beal or that Beal was mad about getting cooked. Then the story breached containment and hit the national spotlight.

As mentioned, Cooper Flagg is one of the most coveted prospects of the 2025 recruiting class. Currently ranked as the #2 player in the class by ESPN, everyone wants the 6’8, 200lb forward who is widely considered the best rim defender currently playing at the high school level. Additionally, Flagg, at the time of writing, has 11 collegiate offers, including Duke. He is currently playing out of the Montverde Academy in Florida. He’s a big deal and knows that he’s a big deal. At the end of the day, this is likely a private brag that has spiraled out of hand.

For now, however, she simply says “we’ll see.” When paparazzi complimented Hudson on her relationship with Common, she didn’t correct them. “Thank you,” she simply replied before being asked about a potential collab and their recent reported vacation together.

“I like how you slipped you saw some vacation. Really?” she asked, claiming she’s not sure about “that part.” “I don’t know,” she continued, “It’ll be dope to see two Chicagoans together but I don’t know about that. We’ll see. It could be [awesome].” When asked whether or not she’s willing to address rumors that they’re official, Hudson opted to keep things ambiguous. “Rumors say a lot of things. But he’s a beautiful man. The report suggested that Chalament had broken up with Jenner for undisclosed reasons and that the two A-listers were now single. The rumors also come after Travis Scott addressed the romance on Utopia. Scott, the father of Jenner’s children, hit out at the romance on “MELTDOWN” featuring Drake. However, romance is not the only that Jenner is making headlines at the moment.

The reality star was recently announced as the inspiration for the first-ever celebrity collab for Bratz, the long-standing Barbie rival. MGA Entertainment recently announced a limited series of Kylie Jenner-inspired dolls showcasing some of the star’s most iconic looks. These include her outfits from the 2019 and 2022 Met Galas. Rauw Alejandro is rumored to be dating Camila Cabello, following his recent split from Rosalia, according to E! Online Mexico. Despite the quick turnaround, both artists shot down the idea of infidelity in separate statements on their breakup.

“Yes, a few months ago Rosi and I ended our engagement. There are thousands of problems that can cause a break-up, but in our case it wasn’t because of third parties or infidelity,” he wrote on his Instagram Story, as translated into English. “As I am getting my head around all this, erroneous public allegations have been made, and because of the respect I have for her, for our families and for everything in our lives, I can’t remain silent and watch how they try to destroy the most real love story that God has allowed me to live.”

There have been conflicting reports as to the validity of the rumors surrounding Rauw Alejandro and Camila Cabello. While E! Online Mexico reports that the two are linked, PEOPLE has cited a source as saying that it’s “100 percent not true.” “They just happened to be at two of the same events. They barely even spent time together at either event,” the source explained.

Rumors of infidelity between Rauw Alejandro and Rosalia aren’t the only ones going around. Ariana Grande recently also made headlines for being linked to Ethan Slater, amid his separation from Lilly Jay.
