Kate Middleton has admitted to editing her Mother’s Day photo on social media, on Sunday. The original photo features her posing with her children and the caption: “Thank you for your kind wishes and continued support over the last two months. Wishing everyone a Happy Mother’s Day. C.” It quickly went viral as fans noticed strange details in it.

Amid surmounting backlash, she posted a statement copping to the photo being edited on Twitter. “Like many amateur photographers, I do occasionally experiment with editing,” she said. “I wanted to express my apologies for any confusion the family photograph we shared yesterday caused. I hope everyone celebrating had a very happy Mother’s Day. C.” The drama comes as the Princess of Wales’ whereabouts have been the subject of numerous conspiracy theories in recent weeks following her abdominal surgery in January.

After the surgery, Palace officials revealed that it was a success and Middleton would be stepping away from the spotlight while she recovers. King Charles III Has Cancer

King Charles III has been diagnosed with an unnamed form of cancer, Buckingham Palace announced in a statement provided to BBC on Monday. The 75-year-old was at the hospital, last week, to treat benign prostate enlargement when the issue was discovered. He will continue with his royal duties behind the scenes but postpone public appearances. He was last seen at a church service in Sandringham on Sunday.

“His Majesty has today commenced a schedule of regular treatments, during which time he has been advised by doctors to postpone public-facing duties,” the Palace’s statement said. “Throughout this period, His Majesty will continue to undertake State business and official paperwork as usual. The King is grateful to his medical team for their swift intervention, which was made possible thanks to his recent hospital procedure. He remains wholly positive about his treatment and looks forward to returning to full public duty as soon as possible. His Majesty has chosen to share his diagnosis to prevent speculation and in the hope it may assist public understanding for all those around the world who are affected by cancer.”

Royal Society of Medicine President Dr Jay Verma thanked the King for showing that cancer is indiscriminate. “Please don’t be shy. The more information we have the better to help – hopefully – rule out cancer or, if not, put you on the most suitable treatment pathway,” he said, according to BBC. Meghan Markle Accused Of Faking Interviews

More and more news keeps coming out regarding Meghan Markle, Prince Harry, and their doomed Spotify podcast venture. Previously, the audio company and industry professionals ridiculed the estranged royal family members for not producing enough content to satisfy the $20 million agreement. (Hence why Spotify decided not to renew the contract.) Now there’s talk that Meghan didn’t even interview many of her podcast guests. Originally reported by Podnews, many sources claim her staffers conducted the actual interviews. Meghan then dubbed her voice asking the questions into the dialogue.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex launched Archewell Audio — a reference to their son’s name, Archie — in 2022, where Meghan’s podcast Archetypes lived. During its brief, unfortunate run, it only reached 12 episodes. Spotify executives, like The Ringer’s Bill Simmons, expected the duo to provide much more content than what it ultimately came up with. In fact, Mr. Simmons is on record on his own podcast calling Harry and Meghan, “f*cking grifters.” For context, Bill Simmons produces two to three podcast episodes weekly for The Bill Simmons Podcast, as well as one to two guest appearances on other podcasts. In other words, there’s no excuse for Harry and Meghan’s lack of production.

Meghan Markle’s Blacklisting

It sounds like Meghan Markle is notorious for not doing her own work and then slapping her name on the final product. In 2022, writer Alison Yarrow commended a specific Archetypes producer for their excellent interviewing skills. They then edited that audio so that it sounded like Meghan interviewed Yarrow, despite it being a bald-faced lie. Harry and Meghan also failed to police any sort of COVID-19 information, another feather in the cap Spotify used to justify ending the partnership.

Meghan Markle potentially made more than the most-streamed Spotify song of all time — The Weeknd’s “Blinding Lights” — for what amounted to 12 hours of podcasting. This is a sobering fact, one that will make Spotify execs think twice before offering huge contracts to unheralded podcasting talent. As for Meghan, she hopes to find a new home for Archetypes, though that might be a daunting task as these tidbits of contention continue to surface.

Chris Rock Calls Out Meghan Markle For “Racist” Royal Family Accusations: “Just Some In-Law Shit”

The last year has been an interesting one for Chris Rock. He previously found his world turned upside down following an altercation with Will Smith at the 2022 Oscars. While the comedian certainly felt the impact of the slap he received across the face from the actor, it was the latter whose career took several major hits as a result of his violent actions. Rock, on the other hand, was offered plenty of exciting opportunities, including a two-and-a-half-hour-long stand-up special.

The Netflix project finally made its debut on Saturday (March 4). As expected, the South Carolina-born entertainer didn’t hold back. On the long list of topics he addressed was obviously “Slapgate,” as it’s become known online, but that’s not all he had to vent about. Elsewhere in the lengthy performance, Rock shared his thoughts on Meghan Markle, who released a Netflix special of her own with her husband Prince Harry recently.

“Like who is this girl Meghan Markle? Seems like a nice lady, just complaining,” the Madagascar voice actor says in a video making rounds online. “Like didn’t she hit the light-skinned lottery?” He then specifically referenced comments she made during an interview with Oprah in 2022. At the time, it was revealed that a member of the Royal Family previously raised questions about what colour their first son, Archie, would be due to the actresses’ interracial lineage.

Mocking Markle, Rock ranted to his audience. “‘They’re so racist, they’re so racist.’ Some of that shit she went through was not racism. It was just some in-law shit,” he insisted. “‘Oprah, they’re so racist. They wanted to know how brown the baby was going to be.’ That’s not racist. Even Black people want to know how brown the baby going to be.”

Rock Defends the Royal Family

Apparently, in the father of two’s family, it’s customary to “check behind the ears” of a newborn. This is “because you’ve got to know what kind of black child you going to get.” The funny man then described the range from light skin, like Steph Curry, to far darker complexions, like Draymond Green’s. After dissing Markle, Rock told listeners that he still sympathizes with what she’s been going through.

“I know her dilemma: Black girl trying to be accepted by her white in-laws. Oh, it’s hard. It’s so hard – but it ain’t as hard as a white girl trying to be accepted by her black in-laws. Now that shit is really hard,” the entertainer laughed. “If you Black and you wanted to be accepted by your white in-laws then you need to marry a Kardashian because they accept everybody.” Read what Chris Rock had to say about his feud with Will Smith here, and let us know if you’ll be watching the comedy special in the comments.
