When Is Future On Stage At Rolling Loud California 2024?

Last November, Rolling Loud California announced its 2024 lineup — only to amend it the following day. Initially, Lil Uzi Vert was announced as a headliner alongside Nicki Minaj and Post Malone, but they almost immediately disputed the announcement. Future and Metro Boomin came to the rescue as the new co-headliners for Sunday, March 17, which will be perfect timing because Future and Metro are preparing to drop We Don’t Trust You on March 22 and April 12. ¥$ (Ye and Ty Dolla Sign) have also since been announced as headliners for Thursday, March 14.

When Is Future On Stage At Rolling Loud California 2024?

According to the festival’s app and a press release, Future and Metro Boomin are scheduled to perform from 8:30 p.m. PST until 9:45 p.m. PST on the Ethika Stage. Before their headlining set, the Ethika Stage will also welcome performances from DrownMili, Cash Cobain, Kxllswxtch, BashfortheWorld, NLE Choppa, Chief Keef, Ski Mask The Slump God, and Don Toliver. See all of the Rolling Loud California 2024 set times here.

Natanael Cano And Junior H’s Label Accuses Rolling Loud California Of Being ‘Racist’ After The Acts Were Removed From The Lineup

Fernando Uzcanga

Rolling Loud California 2024’s lineup has been reduced by two major international acts. Although the multiday event features headliners Nicki Minaj, Post Malone, Future, and Metro Boomin, several special guests were slated to hit the main stage.

Today (March 11), Rancho Humilde CEO Jimmy Humilde revealed that its artists Natanael Cano and Junior H would no longer perform at the show as previously promoted (Cano on Friday, March 15, and Junior on Sunday, March 17). In a post shared on Humilde’s official Instagram page, the label executive accused the organizers of being racist.

“Rolling Loud canceled us last minute,” he wrote. “And what’s crazy is that the majority of ticket buyers are Raza! They f*cked with the wrong fool.”

However, in a statement shared exclusively with Rolling Stone, a representative for Rolling Loud refuted the claim. “Unfortunately, Natanael Cano and Junior H will not be performing at Rolling Loud California 2024,” the representative said. “Natanael Cano did not obtain the necessary work permits or visas to enable him to perform at the festival. Junior H will not be performing due to several breaches of contract, including the festival’s radius terms.”

This isn’t the first lineup hiccup Rolling Loud California 2024 has faced. When the event was initially unveiled, Lil Uzi Vert’s name appeared on the official flyer. Immediately after sharing the promotional graphic, Lil Uzi Vert stated that they were not performing at the festival. Shortly after, Future and Metro Boomin signed on as Sunday’s headliners.

Kanye West & Ty Dolla Sign Will Bring “Vultures” To Rolling Loud California

Following the release of his eagerly-anticipated project with Ty Dolla Sign, Vultures 1, Kanye West has taken to Instagram to share some exciting news. According to the Yeezy founder, the duo will take the stage at Rolling Loud California on March 14, only days after the second installment of Vultures is scheduled to arrive. The festival’s official Twitter account confirmed the news shortly after Ye’s announcement.

Aside from Kanye and Ty Dolla Sign, attendees will also have the opportunity to catch sets from Nicki Minaj, Sexyy Red, YG & Tyga, and more. It goes without saying that they’re looking forward to the performance, however, some have doubts that it’ll actually happen. Famously, Ye canceled his headlining set at the festival back in 2022 only days before it was scheduled to take place.

Kanye West Shares Exciting News On IG

“Rolling loud? More like rolling the dice to see if you show up,” one Instagram user writes under Ye’s announcement. Another says, “Bro’s gonna cancel his set the day before.” Either way, supporters are hopeful that this time around, the performance will go off without a hitch. After all, opportunities to see Ye perform Vultures material have been scarce, and mostly limited to lucky fans able to score pricey tickets to his last-minute listening parties.

Rolling Loud California may not be the only exciting show Ye has lined up, however. Earlier this month, he took to social media to reveal that he was having trouble getting venues to book him, largely due to his antisemitic and otherwise unsavory comments. Luckily, some of his well-connected friends were able to come through for him, and talk of a potential world tour has already begun. What do you think of Kanye West announcing that he and Ty Dolla Sign will be performing Vultures at Rolling Loud California? Are you looking forward to it? Share your thoughts in the comments section down below, and keep an eye on HNHH for more updates.

Future & Metro Boomin Step In To Replace Lil Uzi Vert At Rolling Loud California

Future and Metro Boomin are cooking right now. Overall, the two are set to drop an album called Metro Pluto. Although there is no exact timeline for the release, some fans are holding out hope that it will arrive before the end of the year. However, no one would be mad if it came out next year. After all, these two always make heat together, and fans would rather the album be perfect. If you were to ask both of these artists, they would probably say the same thing.

As far as hints that the album is coming, well, Metro has been showing off numerous pictures from the studio. Furthermore, Metro and Future were just added as headliners to the Sunday date of Rolling Loud California. Of course, this is an interesting addition when you consider how Lil Uzi Vert was originally in that slot. However, Uzi noted that they never actually agreed to go to Rolling Loud. Hence why Future and Metro Boomin were given that slot instead.

The fact that Future and Metro are going to be at the festival pretty much confirms that they do have something coming. After all, why book an artist if they have nothing new to perform? These two have an extensive back catalog, but it is still infinitely more interesting to see them perform new stuff. Hopefully, this assumption is correct, and we get an announcement about a new album sometime soon. Only time will tell what both of these artists end up doing.

Rolling Loud California unveiled their 2024 lineup on Tuesday, November 14, but the highers-up may have been so eager to drop some names that they added some names that hadn’t yet been confirmed, or perhaps even courted. One was Lil Uzi Vert. The rapper took to their Instagram Story to say, “I never said I was doing Rolling Loud,” adding, “Don’t understand why my name is on here.”

As of Wednesday afternoon, November 15, Uzi’s name is no longer on the list. The festival posted an updated lineup poster, with Future and Metro Boomin replacing Uzi as Sunday headliners.

The festival is scheduled to take place at Hollywood Park in Inglewood, California (surrounding SoFi Stadium) from Friday, March 15 to Sunday, March 17, 2024. Nicki Minaj will handle headlining duties on Friday, followed by Post Malone on Saturday. The full lineup can be found here.

Rolling Loud California’s presale is scheduled for Thursday, November 16, beginning at 10 a.m. PST. An general public sale will follow on Friday, November 17, at 10 a.m. PST. The festival’s official website lists ticket options as follows: 3-Day GA, 3-Day GA+, 3-Day VIP, 3-Day VIP + Munchie Pack. There is also an option to book a hotel here.

Will Nicki Minaj’s Tour In 2024 Have Openers?

Just a few days after Nicki Minaj was announced as one of the headliners for Rolling Loud California’s 2024 festival, it seems she has some other surprises tied to her upcoming Pink Friday 2 album.

Today on Twitter, Minaj teased that she’s planning to release the lineup for her upcoming tour on Friday, November 17. “This will be incorporated into the tour lineup… the tour lineup that you guys will have in 3 days,” Minaj posted, pointing out that her shows will at least be held in March if her festival appearance is included among her dates.

While it’s still unknown who exactly Minaj’s tour opening acts will be, this does confirm that she will have (at least) one. Depending on what she intended with the post, her openers could be other Rolling Loud California performers. Some of the other top-billed women — Summer Walker, Sexyy Red, or Flo Milli — could be potential contenders for Minaj’s Pink Friday 2 shows.

Upon hearing the news, fans are also thrilled about the chance to hear Minaj’s new album at the California festival. Others are worried about if it will be her only show in Los Angeles for the tour.
