Gillie Da Kid Claps Back At Rick Ross After Being Called A Fraud, “Why The F*ck Would You Buy A Cow?”

gillie da kid

Million Dollaz Worth Of Game podcast co-host Gillie Da Kid sent shots to Rick Ross after the Richer Than I’ve Ever Been artist called him a “fraud.”

The beef stems from an incident in May where Young Money CEO Mack Maine called out Gillie for falsifying a story about Lil Wayne being “shook” when he saw Gillie at an event at Jackson State University. Mack also claimed that Gillie was lying about having ghostwritten for Wayne on Tha Carter 1. Rick Ross commented on Mack Maine’s post, calling Gillie a “fraud.”

Gillie obviously holds some resentment towards Ross, as he brought up the beef n a recent episode of the Million Dollaz Worth Of Game podcast.

Around the 1:24:52 mark of the podcast, Gillie sneaked dissed Ross and clowned him for buying cattle for his Promised Land estate. “It’s old n*ggas, they don’t hear the roar of the crowd no more, and they still think the world gon’ come back. So, they be on Instagram and they be on social media doing dumb sh*t. ‘I just bought a cow.’ And all this dumb sh*t. F*ck would you buy a cow for?”

Gillie then looked into the camera and continued to go off on the Miami-bred MC, bringing up his past as a correctional officer.

“You knew I was gon’ bake you, n*gga,” Gillie said. “I seen you in those comments. You knew I was gon’ bake your goofy ass. Yeah, f*ck wrong with you? Don’t ever comment on nothing about me, n*gga. When you used to be a CO, n*gga. When you used to lock n*ggas like Wallo in the cell.”

“F*ck these old n*ggas,” Gillie added. “They mad at me ’cause I tell ’em f*ck ’em. All you n*ggas p*ssy. You ain’t gon’ do nothing.”

And if you didn’t think Gillie was talking about Ross, he then took to DJ Akademiks Instagram comments to clarify that he was indeed talking about Ross.

“This ain’t no fuckin sneak diss. I’m talkin to Ross he should of never been in Mack Maine comments callin me a fraud .”

Happy 47th Birthday 50 Cent! Fif’s Realest Rap Beefs

Screen Shot 2022 07 06 at 5.36.27 PM

Born on this date in 1975, Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson is undoubtedly one of the most influential forces in the game today. From music to movies to successful business ventures, Fif has always stayed on top of his game ever since he made his unconventional entrance at the end of the last millennium.

What has always kept 50’s name in the people’s mouths is the fact that he always had someone else’s name in his! Not to be confused with the common studio gangster, 50 has not only survived, but remained triumphant and relevant after all of his beefs.

Here’s a short list of some of Fif’s most mentioned beefs in and out of the studio:

1. Kenneth “Supreme” McGriff

supreme

This beef between street soldier and kingpin became a story reminiscent of David and Goliath, with 50 Cent battling the most feared gangster in his Jamaica, Queens hometown. This riff was depicted in 50’s blockbuster film Get Rich Or Die Tryin’. The real ending? Fif is a successful businessman and Supreme is currently in a federal supermax correctional facility for life. According to recent reports, however, an appeals court has now forced a federal judge to reconsider Supreme’s appeal for a sentence reduction.

2. Big Pun

On 50’s first widely recognized track “How To Rob” featuring The Madd Rapper, he creatively spits scenarios about him catching several of your favorite rappers and R&B singers slipping. One of them happened to be the Terror Squad top recruit, the late Big Pun, who didn’t take it very lightly. On Pun’s Yeeeaah Baby! album, he tells Fif on one of the tracks, “I’m gonna make a song called ‘How I beat your fuckin ass’…”. Nothing never happened off wax with this beef and Pun passed suddenly on February 7, 2000.

3. The Game

With the G-Unit at the top of the rap tier at the turn of the 21st Century, if you weren’t with them, you and your crew were definitely getting rolled over. The Game, who happened to be the only recruit on the Guerrilla Unit squad that wasn’t from the East Coast, made the mistake by believing that his career would remain afloat without 50. With no help against the barrage of battle records from G-Unit to the unsuccessful “Boycott G-Unit” campaign, it’s safe to say that Fif come out on top of this one.

4. Rick Ross

The Bawse seemed to be the only artist that has even been able to maintain his relevance after beef with Mr. Jackson. Ironically, this beef started over an alleged wrong look at the BET Awards towards Ross. These two traded bars until Fif came out with the “Officer Ricky” track, in which 50 promised told Rozay “Ima fuck your life up for fun’. At the 2012 BET Hip Hop Awards in ATL, Gunplay from Ross’ Maybach Music Group allegedly had his chain snatched and Fif was seen wearing the chain days later.

5. Ja Rule

50-cent-ja-rule

His battle with 50 Cent should’ve been a warning to the rest of the artist who came after him with a problem with the Queens MC. These two were from the same hood, which made the beef that much more personal. While 50 claims that Rule hid behind the protection of “Supreme” McGriff, who was suspected of facilitating the unsuccessful hit on Jackson, Rule maintained a successful career until the continuous physical confrontations and vicious shots proved to be too much for certified platinum Murder Inc. artist. Last year, these two bumped heads on a flight, but time must have healed old wounds because the two just greeted each other with a “what’s up” as they flew together.

Rick Ross Wants To Buy Part Of The Philadelphia 76ers From Michael Rubin

Philadelphia 76ers part owner Michael Rubin is looking to sell his share of the team and Rick Ross wants in. On Wednesday, June 22, Rubin announced his impending departure from the ownership group, citing the growing responsibilities of his ownership of the Fanatics brand. With Fanatics launching a sports-betting division in the near future (a conflict of interest for anyone working in sports, let alone owning a team), Rubin is choosing his burgeoning business over his fandom. He explained the decision in a statement that he also posted on Instagram.

It didn’t take long for the business-minded Rick Ross to chime in in the comments, writing “I’ll buy his 10% lol.” While the “lol” implies that he’s joking, a lot of truth is said in jest. It would certainly make sense for Ross to cop a portion of a sports team. He’s a fixture courtside at his hometown Miami Heat games, he often makes savvy business decisions, and he’s certainly been cutting costs across the board, so he might just have the capital to buy in — provided he can put together an investment group to cover the difference. With a reported net worth of $45 million, he’s got a ways to go to reach the reported value of Rubin’s share, which has certainly grown from when the owner purchased it for $290 million in 2011. Maybe Jay-Z or Meek Mill can help out.

Rick Ross Reveals Codeine Abuse Caused Seizures

Rick Ross has been looking for the chance to own a part of a sports team for a minute. He has gone on social media asking the Miami Dolphins to let him become a minority owner in the franchise, and with the news of Michael Rubin selling his 10% stake in the Philadelphia 76’ers, Ross is looking for his chance to add “minority owner” to his resumé.

Rubin had taken to social media to announce that he was selling his 10% stake in the franchise to in order to expand the Fanatics brand into the sports gambling industry. This would eventually create a conflict of interest as an owner.

In the comments section of Rubin’s Instagram post, Rick Ross commented, saying that he would like to buy the 10% stake in the franchise.

“I’ll buy his 10% lol,” Rozay commented.

The ownership group is headed by Joshua Harris and David Blitzer. The two also bought a piece of the New Jersey Devils hockey team for $320 million in 2013.

Rubin purchased his 10% stake in the 76’ers back in 2011 for about $290 million. Since then, the franchise has grown and is most likely worth more. Despite what the internet might say Ross’s net worth is, we’re sure he’ll find a way to buy into the NBA franchise if he’s really serious about it.
