Shortly after news broke about Keke Palmer filing a restraining order against her baby daddy, Darius Jackson, we found out that the pair would have their day in court on December 5th. As we began a new month today, curiosity around the co-parent’s future has been rising. This afternoon, surprising reports alleged that the former child star postponed the scheduled hearing, with some even suggesting that she dropped the restraining order too. On Friday (December 1) evening, The Shade Room cleared up that gossip with a new statement straight from a source who’s said to be very close to Palmer.

“The restraining order that Keke was granted in November remains in full force and effect and will NOT be dropped,” they declared. “[She] will continue to protect her safety and the safety of Leo above all else.” Pressing charges and filing a police report against her ex were her first steps, “[and] the criminal investigation by the police is continuing.” According to the insider, Jackson’s lawyer isn’t available for the original court date, causing them to reschedule for January 2024.

Love & Hip-Hop Miami star Vonshae Taylor-Morales has had a turbulent past few months. Most of it spawned from her association with Gunplay. The trouble started back in March when he was arrested for allegedly pointing a rifle at Morales while she was holding the pair’s child. As a result, she was granted a restraining order from Gunplay and granted custody of their child.

But last month there was even more drama when Gunplay was arrested once again. He apparently repeatedly violated the restraining order with a GPS in his ankle monitor alerting police when he tried to approach Vonshae’s home. That incident resulted in a robust response from Morales. “Regardless of how the public may feel about my mistakes and recent choices, I am still human. No mother and child should have to constantly uproot their life and live in fear of a man. I really want to take this time to heal in a safe space. Put all of this behind me and get on the path I started on before I met him. I can admit I have been under intense stress and pressure this past year. I haven’t handle any of it the best way,” her response reads.

Now, Vonshae appears to be quickly moving on from the situation. “Big Boss Energy” she captioned an Instagram photo earlier this week. In the pic, she appears to be going Instagram official with a new man following all the Gunplay drama. But many fans reacted to the post with claims that she was moving too quickly. “Something about her is just off to me it’s giving hoping gunplay see it,” one of the top comments on a post recapping the reveal reads.

Darius Jackson’s Mom Had A Domestic Violence Restraining Order Against His Dad

Amid chatter surrounding Keke Palmer’s request for a restraining order against the father of her child, Darius Jackson, new information has surfaced about the fitness trainer’s parents. According to court documents obtained by TMZ, the two of them have had their own legal troubles. Jackson’s mother Yhinyer filed for her own restraining order against his father Romel back in 2020. Her filing came only four months after she filed for a divorce. She cited alleged domestic violence in her request.

The restraining order was granted, and as a result, Romel was ordered to hand over all firearms in his possession to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department. A few months later, Yhinyer asked that the restraining order be lifted. The two agreed to stay at least 50 yards away from each other at all times, and Yhinyer was granted possession of their house. The two remain at odds in court, battling over their once shared property.

In her request for a restraining order, she claimed that on Nov. 5, Jackson trespassed into her home without consent, leading to a physical attack, per LA Times. She also claimed that she experienced “many instances of physical violence, including striking and grabbing me around the neck.”

The legal battle intensified this week as Palmer’s mother, Sharon, became involved with alarming claims against Jackson. Furthermore, she had even filed for full custody of their young child, Leodis. Overall, this was very scary news as the implications were clear. Not to mention, the actual court filing had various allegations of both physical and emotional abuse.

According to a new report from Radar Online, Palmer largely got her wish from a judge. She now has complete custody of her son. Moreover, she has been given a temporary restraining order against Jackson that makes it so he cannot come within 100 yards of her. For instance, he got so angry at seeing a bikini picture that she took, that he allegedly began assaulting her. “In the bedroom, he slammed me on the floor and slapped my head from side to side,” Palmer said. “The next morning, he was standing at the bottom of the stairs near the front door, screaming at me as I was coming down the stairs. When I was almost at the bottom of the stairs, he grabbed me around the neck and body slammed me back onto the stairs.”

Tinashe Seeks Restraining Order Following Disturbing Incident At Her Los Angeles Home

In a chilling turn of events, singer-songwriter Tinashe is seeking a restraining order after a man was arrested at her Los Angeles residence. The artist alleges that on the very same day, the individual in question, who has been identified as Marco Oppikofer, returned to her home and engaged in unsettling behavior. According to Tinashe, Oppikofer allegedly rang her doorbell and was turned away by her father, who happened to be present.
