Tory Lanez’s Lawyer Responds To Megan Thee Stallion Restraining Order

Megan Thee Stallion and Tory Lanez continue to duke it out in the media. The former filed a request to get a restraining order against Lanez on December 17. She posited that the rapper has continued to use “psychological warfare” against her despite being in prison. Megan Thee Stallion also accused Lanez of paying bloggers to spread misinformation about her on a regular basis. The request came with seeming proof of blogger payments. Tory Lanez’s lawyer has responded to these allegations, however, and made it clear his client isn’t worried.

Tory Lanez’s lawyer, Ceasar McDowell, issued a lengthy statement regarding the restraining order. He called Megan The Stallion’s request “ridiculous,” and claimed the rapper had no factual basis upon which to base her accusations. “The ridiculous claim that a writ of habeas corpus was filed prior to the release of Ms. Pete’s documentary in an attempt to undermine her work is ludicrous,” McDowell wrote. Lanez’s attorney also questioned Megan Thee Stallion’s reliability after she admitted to lying during a Gayle King interview. “When someone has openly admitted to lying on major public platforms,” he posited. “At what point do we, as a society, stop believing the narrative they are pushing?.”

The attorney also addressed the allegations that Tory Lanez paid blogger Milagro Gramz to spread lies about Megan Thee Stallion. He admitted that there were Zelle payments made to Milagro through Tory Lanez’s father, Sonstar Peterson. The elder Peterson paid Milagro $3K between October 28, 2020 and March 3, 2022. McDowell stated, however, that the payments did not come from Lanez directly. As such, he notes that the intention behind said payments have not been clarified.

“The legal process will prove 100% without a shadow of a doubt that they had nothing to do with Mr. Daystar Peterson or his case at all,” he added. “We believe that the funds sent by Mr. Sonstar Peterson will be fully accounted for, and not connected to our client.” McDowell previously denied a link of any kind between Tory Lanez and Milagro Gramz. Now that one has been established, at least somewhat, through a family member, Lanez’s team will have to determine the cause. Lanez, meanwhile, maintains that he is innocent in the Megan Thee Stallion shooting he was convicted of.

Megan Thee Stallion has filed a restraining order against Tory Lanez, citing ongoing harassment from both the rapper and his supporters. Although Lanez is currently serving a 10-year prison sentence for shooting Megan in the foot in 2020, the fallout from the incident continues to impact the Houston rapper’s life and career.

According to documents obtained by TMZ, Megan claims that Lanez has been orchestrating harassment campaigns against her from behind bars. Specifically, she pointed to a woman named Elizabeth Milagro Cooper, also known as Milagro Gramz, as a key figure in the harassment. Megan alleges that Cooper has a “conspiratorial relationship” with Lanez, supported by payments funneled through Lanez’s father to ensure the ongoing attacks. These claims follow a history of Cooper sharing false and damaging content about Megan online.

In the court filings, Megan described the harassment as “psychological warfare,” stating that it has caused her significant emotional distress, including depression and estrangement from loved ones. Megan Thee Stallion and Tory Lanez are always going to be linked. Much to their chagrin. Lanez was convicted of shooting Megan in the foot, and is currently serving ten years in prison. Megan has been able to have a successful career, despite harassment online. It seems as though the two artists are still beefing, however, and it has led to a request for a restraining order. Megan Thee Stallion has decided to file a request against Tory Lanez.

TMZ broke the news on Tuesday. Megan Thee Stallion cited months of harassment from both Lanez and his supporters as the primary reason. One of the supporters mentioned in Megan’s court documents was a woman named Elizabeth Milagro Cooper. The “WAP” rapper claims that prison logs show there to be a “conspiratorial relationship” between Tory Lanez and Cooper. She went as far as to posit that there have been payments made to Cooper. These payments, allegedly made through Tory Lanez’s dad, ensure that Cooper continues harassing her online.

Megan Thee Stallion described this tactic as “psychological warfare.” She claims said harassment has caused her to fall into depression, and grow estranged from friends and family. This is not the first time Megan has detailed her struggles with depression. The rapper told Women’s Health that she struggled with her emotions while in the midst of her flourishing career. “Before I went onstage, I would be crying half the time,” she admitted. “Because I didn’t want to [perform], but I also didn’t want to upset my fans.” It’s also worth noting that Megan Thee Stallion sued Elizabeth Milagro Cooper just a few months ago.

Megan sued Cooper on the grounds that she regularly posts lies about her. She accused the content creator of being a mouthpiece for Tory Lanez as far back as October. The most egregious material that Cooper posted about Megan Thee Stallion was a fake video of the rapper engaging in sexual acts. The rapper claimed the video caused her “severe emotional distress.” She also accused Cooper of causing damage to her reputation as an artist.

Dr. Dre Hit With Restraining Order From His Ex-Marriage Counselor

Dr. Dre’s former psychiatrist, Dr. Charles Sophy, has filed for a temporary restraining order against the legendary musician. Sophy previously served as Dre and his now ex-wife Nicole’s marriage counselor during their divorce. Citing allegedly threatening text messages taken over a period of 18 months, Sophy wants Dre to stay at least 100 yards away from him and his 22-year-old son.

When TMZ broke the news, Dre’s attorney, Howard King, told the outlet: “Mr. Sophy got some text messages in 2023 from an angry patient who had been mistreated. Along with his entire family, by a self-proclaimed psychiatric expert. Nothing has changed since 2023 that would warrant this desperate filing and attempt for attention other than Mr. Young’s refusal to drop his confidential efforts to have Sophy’s license terminated by the Osteopathic Medical Board.”

It’s not the first time Sophy has taken legal action against Dre, having previously filed a $10 million lawsuit against the rapper. In response, Dre has accused Sophy of malpractice and alleged he tried to turn his son against him. Howard King said in a prior statement: “In gross violation of all applicable standards of care, Dr. Sophy inserted himself into a contentious divorce while he simultaneously ‘treated’ not only Mr. and Mrs. Young, but their children. He was terminated when it was revealed that he was encouraging one of their children to take sides against Mr. Young, even encouraging his son to go to the press with false allegations in order to force a financial settlement that he recommended.”

Dr. Dre’s Former Counselor Files Restraining Order Against Him

Dr. Dre is currently embroiled in a legal battle with Dr. Charles Sophy. The latter served as Dre’s divorce counselor when the legendary producer was splitting from his wife. The divorce was finalized years ago, but Dr. Sophy has come forth with a number of harrowing allegations against Dre. He alleges that he was subjected to threats via text message, and that Dre used “homophobic rhetoric” against him. Due to these claims, Dr. Sophy filed a restraining order against him.

TMZ confirmed the order on October 11. Dr. Sophy filed a temporary restraining order against Dr. Dre on the basis of the allegations made against him. For the time being, the producer can not get within a 100 yard distance of Dr. Sophy or his son. The divorce counselor also requested that Dre stop reaching out to him, whether it be via text, phone call, or email. These requests make sense, given the allegations that he has leveled at Dre. Sophy alleged that Dr. Dre reached out to him years after the aforementioned split was finalized, and began taunting him on a regular basis.

Dr. Sophy Wants Dr. Dre To Stay Away From His Son

Dr. Sophy is seeking $10 million in damages. It’s worth noting, however, that Dr. Dre has responded to the counselor’s allegations. He accused Dr. Sophy of malicious intent in his handling of the divorce, and for malpractice, as he went from being Dre’s divorce counselor to primary therapist. Furthermore, the legendary producer claimed that Sophy drove a wedge between him and his son. In a statement sent to TMZ, Dr. Dre alleged that Sophy tried to manipulate his son into spreading “false allegations” about the domestic abuse allegations leveled at him by his ex-wife.

Dr. Sophy may have filed a lawsuit, but Dr. Dre has filed a complaint with the Osteopathic Medical Board of California. The latter wants to see Sophy’s medical license get revoked. The counselor maintains that he was the victim of civil harassment and threat of violence based on sexual orientation. He also wants a trial, according to Rolling Stone. The artist, in the meantime, is gearing up for the release of Missionary, his long-anticipated collab album with Snoop Dogg. The legal battle is obviously ongoing, and is set to take some important turns over the next few months.

Kehlani Files Restraining Order Against Ex-Boyfriend During Custody Battle

Kehlani’s battle for custody has taken a surprising turn. The singer decided to file a temporary restraining order against her ex-boyfriend, Javaughn Young-White, on August 13. The order was filed in Los Angeles County Superior Court, and will prohibit Young-White from contacting Kehlani or their daughter. It’s not a coincidence that the order was filed two weeks after Kehlani filed to obtain full custody of their daughter. Young-White will not only be restricted from contacting his family members, but will be forced to keep a 100 yard distance from their home as well.

TMZ reported that Kehlani will maintain full custody of her daughter Adeya while the restraining order is in effect. Commissioner Jeffrey W. Korn stated that order was processed quickly because there Young-White has a history of abuse against Kehlani. Korn also cited a lack of cooperation with regards to co-parenting, and fear of possible child abduction during the custody case. “He’s not emotionally well and appears to suffer from periods of despair,” Kehlani claimed in court documents. “When he’s agitated, he cannot stop moving and throws his arms in the air while yelling and screaming at me.”

Kehlani Accused Her Ex Of Being Emotionally Unwell

The tables have turned in this highly publicized custody battle. Young-White was the first one to level accusations, as he claimed Kehlani was a member of a cult. On July 24, Young-White filed a complaint stating that the cult “controls her actions and her behavior, including when it comes to the upbringing of our daughter.” He also accused the singer of leaving Adeya in the care of so-called cult members when she’s on tour. “The environment that she has created for herself is not the type of environment that a child should be living,” he asserted.

Kehlani took to social media to deny these claims. She denied every being part of a cult, or putting her daughter at risk. “Strongly den(ies) any claims that I have put my child in harm’s way,” she wrote on IG. “Or left my child alone with anyone deemed dangerous or unsafe… My child and my commitment to motherhood have always been my sole driving forces in this life and will always remain so.” Both the singer and her ex-boyfriend are seeking sole custody of Adeya. The hearing for Young-White’s restraining order has been set for September 3.

Ryan Garcia’s Ex Wife Granted Restraining Order Following Alleged Death Threats

The relationship between controversial boxer, Ryan Garcia, and his ex-wife, Andrea Velarde, continues to become more and more complex. According to a new report from TMZ Sports, a restraining order has been successfully admitted to her. This news comes a week after Andrea went to court to request one after the troubled star sent some life-threatening text messages. In the legal documents, she recounts a chilling night out a restaurant on July 19 with one of her siblings, her brother, Chris. Andrea then claims that Garcia showed up, caused a scene, then threatened both of them. They would go on to leave the establishment and her ex-husband would go on to follow her back home.

Andrea even says that Garcia stayed in his car for about 10 minutes in her driveway. However, it continues to get more disturbing from there. The documents also state that just two days later on July 21, Garcia was sending Andrea death threats, saying that he was going to put a hit out on Chris, her dad, and even his own sister, Demi. Some of the messages sound like they were plucked directly from a serial killer in horror movie. “I want to murder your brother… I can’t wait”, Garcia says. “Ima kill your bro slowly… Kill Demi too… Let’s do it… It will be fun lol”. Andrea replied in presumed horror to the latter, “You said your’e gonna kill Demi that’s so sad”.

Ryan Garcia’s Ex Has A Big Decision To Make

In terms of what the restraining order details are, Ryan cannot get within 100 yards of Andrea, their 2 kids, her brother, or her parents. Furthermore, he will have to move out of their home permanently remove any explicit photos or videos he may have of Andrea. However, what is perhaps even more concerning is that she is seemingly considering dropping the TRO. TMZ Sports says “they’ve talked and are committed to peacefully fixing their issues”. However, if she decides to keep it intact, Garcia’s hearing will be sometime next month.

Polo G’s family drama has escalated with his mother, Stacia Mac, officially filing a domestic violence restraining order against her own daughter, Leilani. The move comes after a climatic incident back in April when the two came to blows. Mac claims Leilani returned home intoxicated after Easter and began attacking her inside her bedroom and breaking other property throughout the home. As tensions rose, Mac says she needed to use a gun to protect herself. A security camera captured the moment of the shooting in a video that went viral on social media afterward.

In a statement Mac posted on her Instagram Story, on Saturday, she admitted the clip is “distressing,” but argued: “Stacia Mac found herself in a position no one should ever face: having to defend her home and loved ones, especially from someone she deeply cares about. For months before this incident, Stacia was desperately trying to get help for her daughter, Leilani. She reached out to family and friends, seeking their support and urging them to join her in getting Leilani the professional care she needed. Tragically, her pleas went unheard, and Leilani’s mental health continued to decline, leading to increasingly erratic and ultimately violent behavior.”

Last week, disturbing Ring camera footage featuring Polo G’s mother Stacia Mac and her daughter Leilani surfaced online and quickly went viral. In the footage, the two of them are seemingly engaged in a heated argument when Stacia storms out of her home allegedly holding a gun. She appeared to head in Leilani’s direction before firing off a gunshot. Fortunately, nobody was injured. It looks like their relationship has taken a serious hit as a result of the incident, however.

According to new court documents obtained by TMZ Hip Hop, Stacia recently filed for a domestic violence restraining order against her daughter. She accuses Leilani of entering her home without her knowledge on April 1 of this year and attacking her. She then alleges that she proceeded to go around the house destroying several of her belongings.

After that, Stacia claims to have taken “defensive action” by firing off the gunshot. She called this a “desperate, last-ditch attempt” to get her daughter to leave the property. She says that Leilani’s father made arrangements for her to attend an alcohol detox facility in the days following the altercation, though it’s unclear whether or not she ended up going. In her filing, Stacia alleges that she’s done everything in her power to eliminate contact with Leilani, but continues to be brought up in her social media posts. She’s asked the judge to keep Leilani away from her homes in both Los Angeles and Georgia.

Karlissa Saffold Threatens Chrisean Rock With A Restraining Order

Karlissa Saffold and Chrisean Rock have never truly seen eye to eye with one another. Overall, their relationship has been strained ever since Chrisean and Blueface got together. Once Chrisean had her child, things got even more complicated. This is mostly due to the fact that Saffold has not been allowed to see her grandson. She has been very adamant about how much that has hurt her, although it seems like Chrisean still isn’t budging on that topic. Now, however, things do seem to be getting a lot more serious, and not in a good way.

In a new Instagram story, Karlissa posted some DMs with an unknown person. She also said, “I’ll have a restraining order by Monday at noon.” This is meant to be directed at Chrisean Rock, although there is no telling if she is being serious with this threat. What we do know is that the tensions between Chrisean and Karlissa have been ongoing for quite some time. Now, Saffold feels threatened by Rock, and is even interested in pressing charges if things continue down this route.

At this point, it does feel as though these two will never see eye to eye. Furthermore, if threats of violence are truly present here, then something needs to happen quickly. Only time will tell whether or not Saffold actually goes through with this aforementioned threat. Hopefully, cooler heads will prevail here.
