Things kicked off earlier in May, and so far, each audience has only managed to bring more energy and enthusiasm for Queen B than the last.

While some artists opt to share an Instagram post commerating every stop they make on tour, Bey has been notably more selective with her choices. After giving us a glimpse into her and Jay-Z’s London date night last week (likely to celebrate the historic purchase of their new California mansion), she returned on Monday (May 22) to serve major “ALIEN SUPERSTAR” vibes in various silver outfits. She didn’t provide fans with a caption, but has certainly caught the attention of plenty noteworthy celebrity friends in the comments.

Beyoncé Continues to Serve Looks on Tour

Beyoncé Reveals “Renaissance” Tour Crew Includes 14 Chefs

Beyoncé recently shared the credits for her current “Renaissance” tour on her official website. The artist revealed how much is actually going into the production, showcasing 14 chefs employed under the category of “tour catering” alone. Beyoncé also credits herself as the tour’s director, executive producer, and creative director. The tour is expected to rake in over $2 billion.

The “Renaissance” tour began earlier this month with a performance in Stockholm, Sweden. One member of the beyhive was arrested on opening night for sneaking into a special VIP section of the event. The performance’s setlist was also leaked online prior to the show. Beyoncé was joined by her daughter, Blue Ivy, and her spouse Jay-Z at the event. A funny interaction at a Beyoncé performance between a fan and Beyoncé’s mother, Tina Lawson, was also shared to social media this week. As the fan took a selfie-style video of themself with Lawson, they sung “I just met Ms. Tina, I just met Beyoncé’s mama.” Lawson wanted nothing to do with the distraction from her daughter’s performance, telling the fan to “Shhh!!!”

Earlier this week, creators of the viral TikTok “Cuff It” challenge took to social media to let people know that they have not yet received tickets to the tour. The challenge, created by (@maycsteele) and Kaitlyn (@ogpartyhardy26) featured users dancing to the 2022 Renaissance track. It was emulated thousands of times, with Beyoncé herself even sharing her favorite renditions of the challenge to her Instagram.

The icon also teased a new business venture in the hair industry on Tuesday (May 16). She shared a post on Instagram featuring a handwritten letter to her fans. Beyoncé asks, “How many of y’all know my first job was sweeping hair in my mama’s salon?” She goes on, revealing, “Destiny’s Child got our start by performing for clients while they were getting their hair done. I was exposed to so many different kinds of entrepreneurial women in her salon.” Beyoncé then shared about growing up getting her hair done by her mother. Creators Of “Cuff It” Challenge Haven’t Received Beyoncé Tickets

The two creators behind the TikTok “Cuff It” challenge that went viral in August of last year have not yet received tickets to Beyoncé’s “Renaissance” tour. Users (@maycsteele) and Kaitlyn (@ogpartyhardy26) posted a video dancing to the Beyoncé track “CUFF IT,” and shortly after, thousands of users followed suit. The pair shared a video on TikTok this week, claiming that they’re waiting. “Us waiting for Renaissance tickets to be sent to us after creating the ‘cuff it challenge,’” text over the video of the users reads.

The RENAISSANCE World Tour is off to an undeniably successful start so far, with two shows down and dozens more still to come. Beyoncé began last week with a performance in Stockholm, followed by one in Brussels just a few days ago. The former’s biggest moments included the audience impressing the mother of three with their own “Love On Top” vocals and Jay-Z applauding a random couple’s engagement alongside Tyler Perry. As for her most recent performance, it seems Bey’s long-time bodyguard, Julius, stole some of her spotlight during the concert.

In a clip that’s circulating online, the security staffer stands beside the stage, ready and willing to protect his client by any means. As the vocalist walks out on the stage in her beautiful white gown, the section of patrons in front of Julius catches her attention, seemingly because Beyoncé thought they were cheering for her. Rather, they were gassing up her employee, who appeared somewhat embarrassed by the entire scene. Though Beyoncé has only performed one night of her Renaissance World Tour, the Queen Bey has the Beyhive abuzz. During the first stop of the tour at the Friends Arena in Stockholm, Sweden, Bey performed the songs from the Renaissance album live for the first time. She also gave the audience a taste of the album’s long-awaited music videos. But one of her crew members gave fans some piping hot tea.

In a TikTok clip shared by a fan who was in attendance at the Stockholm show, one of her crew members teased that Bey has plans to shoot a film of the concert.

“We’ll be [in Houston] for two days, and we’re gonna be shooting a movie there,” the crew member is heard saying.

As Bey is known to work in secret, she has not directly commented on the matter.

If this is true, the filming will take place on September 23 and 24 at NRG Stadium, in her hometown.

This wouldn’t be the first time she’s released one of her concerts to be available for home viewing. In 2019, she released Homecoming, a documentary of her 2018 Coachella performance, on Netflix. In 2014, she premiered her joint On The Run tour with JAY-Z on HBO.

Beyoncé kicked off her “Renaissance” tour last night in Sweden. Unsurprisingly, there have been plenty of headlines coming from the first night of the tour. Before the show even started, parts of the setlist were leaked. A fan that got their hands on the tour book uploaded a video that shows a preliminary setlist. Now that the first night of the tour has concluded, fans finally have the full, 36-song setlist. However, even beyond the songs, there were plenty of entertaining moments for fans the world over to take in. Beyoncé was extremely shady on the first night of her tour.

First, the singer shaded demanding fans. Since the release of Beyoncé’s latest album last year, fans have been begging for some sort of visuals. A segment of Beyoncé’s set provided a very direct response to this question. In the intro to “Formation,” a narrator provides a voice-over as the words are displayed on huge screens. “You’ve asked for the visuals,” the disembodied voice says. “…but a queen moves at her own pace, b*tch.” Queen Bey also seemingly shaded Donald Glover for his show Swarm. The show revolves around a fan obsessed with a Beyoncé-like pop star. During one segment of the show where Beyoncé is dressed as a literal queen bee, she said, “Swarm these hands, n*gga.”

Beyoncé Fan Is Escorted Out In Cuffs

Beyoncé fans are infamous for their passion and unwavering support of the iconic artist. However, it appears that a fan took their enthusiasm just a bit too far at the “Renaissance” Tour. According to a video shared among Beyoncé fans online, the fan was arrested during the show for allegedly trespassing into the exclusive “Club Renaissance” area. The cordoned-off area offers VIP treatment with a team of concierges and hosts. Regrettably, the fan seemed to be unaware that the term “concierge team” likely includes high-level security personnel.

It may have just begun, but Beyoncé’s tour has already generated more than its fair share of headlines.
