When Will Tickets For Beyoncé’s 2023 Tour Go On Sale?

No one can break Beyoncé’s soul, but the Beyhive can certainly break the internet. Upon the announcement of her upcoming Renaissance World Tour, fans crashed the Citi Entertainment site, which revealed the guidelines on how to register for the pre-sale.

When will tickets for Beyoncé’s 2023 tour go on sale?

The Citi pre-sale link is now active again, and fans can begin registering to receive their pre-sale codes now.

The pre-sale is powered by a program called Verified Fan, in which fans can register to potentially be invited to purchase pre-sale tickets. Registering, however, will not guarantee each fan will be verified, receive a code, or have the ability to purchase tickets.

Those who are invited will receive an access code the night before the Citi presale inviting them to shop for tickets.

According to Citi Entertainment’s website, “Registration for the Citi presale powered by Verified Fan in Chicago, East Rutherford, Washington DC, Atlanta, Las Vegas, Los Angeles and Houston will go through Thursday, February 2 at 11:59 PM EST. Verified fans will be notified and the Citi presale will begin Tuesday, February 7, 2023 at 10 AM EST through Wednesday, February 8, 2023 at 6 PM EST.”

The following week, “Verified Fan in Minneapolis, Boston, Tampa, Miami, San Francisco, Seattle and Dallas will go through Thursday, February 9, 2023 at 11:59 PM EST.”

At the time of writing, registration is only available to those with a Citi credit card. It is unclear when general on-sale will begin, however, non-Citi cardholders will be able to purchase tickets here.

Beyoncé Officially Announces “Renaissance” World Tour 2023

Beyoncé will be hitting the road for the first time since 2018’s On The Run II Tour with Jay-Z.

After much speculation in recent months, Queen Bey dropped the official dates for the Renaissance World Tour 2023. The singer will kick off the European leg first. The tour will begin in Stockholm, Sweden on May 10th before heading to various European cities including Paris, London, and Amsterdam.

The North American leg will begin with two nights in Toronto on July 8th and 9th before heading to Philadelphia to begin the remainder of her U.S. dates. Beyoncé will be hitting every major U.S. city including two nights in both New York and Los Angeles.

The news of Beyoncé’s tour comes shortly after her performance in Dubai. The “Alien Superstar” artist graced the stage for the grand opening of Atlantis The Royal for an exclusive performance. Only celebrities, influencers and journalists were invited to watch the show.

Beyoncé’s album, Renaissance dropped in late July 2022. The project’s dance-heavy production earned critical acclaim across the board, landing at the top of several year-end lists. Additionally, it earned Bey 9 Grammy noms including Album Of The Year. During the 2022 Wearable Art Gala, she sparked speculation surrounding the upcoming tour after auctioning luxury ticket packages. The buyers spent $40K and over for backstage passes, concert tickets and more.

How To Buy Tickets For Beyoncé’s ‘Renaissance’ Tour

Well, it’s finally happening. After Beyoncé’s private concert in Dubai and after her father Mathew Knowles said his daughter (not Solange) was planning a tour behind Renaissance, the tour is officially happening. Beyoncé made the official announcement this morning (February 1) and shortly before that, Citi listed a “Citi Verified Fan Presale” page for “Beyoncé RENAISSANCE WORLD TOUR,” which features shows between July and September in a number of North American cities.

So, how does one get tickets?

One way to get tickets is via the Citi Verified Fan Presale. To attempt to secure a ticket, buyers must first register for the pre-sale. Some registrants will then receive an access code the night before the presale goes live, which will grant access to shop for tickets. Then, they’ll be able to buy tickets with a valid Citi credit card of Citibank debit card.

Otherwise, links to register to get tickets for specific tour dates are available on Beyoncé’s website.

The trek starts in May with some European and UK dates before heading to North America in July. That part of the tour kicks off in Toronto and will later wrap up in New Orleans.

Beyoncé Has Finally Announced A Tour In Support Of ‘Renaissance’

Last month, Beyoncé put on a private concert in Dubai. Naturally, this made fans wonder: Is Beyoncé planning a tour in support of Renaissance? That certainly seemed to be the case, as her father Mathew Knowles told TMZ that she was and that the announcement would come when the time is right. Well, it appears the time is now right.

This morning (February 1), Beyoncé officially announced a Renaissance world tour, dates for which are on Beyoncé’s website. Citi also now has a “Citi Verified Fan Presale” page for “Beyoncé RENAISSANCE WORLD TOUR.” Listed on the page are shows between July and September in various North American cities.

Beyoncé Was Seemingly Overheard At The Sound Check For Her Upcoming Dubai Concert

It doesn’t take much for Beyoncé to dominate headlines, but her powerful influence truly outdid itself today, January 18. First, ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith dragged Beyoncé’s name into his take on Rihanna’s Super Bowl LVII halftime show scheduled for February 12. The First Take host told Sherri Shepherd that Rihanna “ain’t Beyoncé” and then apologized hours later.

Beyoncé does have something in common with Rihanna right now, though: They’re each preparing for a massive show.

According to TMZ, Beyoncé is preparing to perform an invite-only concert at the Atlantis The Royal resort in Dubai this weekend for a reported $24 million. Fan accounts are circulating clips of her sound check:

Per TMZ, Beyoncé’s Dubai set “is said to be the launching pad for her upcoming Renaissance Tour.”

Renaissance, her first original solo album since 2016’s Lemonade, arrived last July. As a result, Beyoncé leads all nominees at next month’s 2023 Grammys. Anticipation for a possible Renaissance Tour was sparked at WACO Theater’s Wearable Art Gala in October:

Though a tour hasn’t been officially announced, The Sun reported last month that Beyoncé is planning to ban alcohol and drug use for the duration of the tour.

“Bey knows the new performances will require intense choreography and precision, so everyone has to be clean and sober,” an unnamed source told the UK tabloid. “There won’t be any crazy partying on the road either.”

The source added, “She is also carrying out #MeToo checks with the dancers, band and crew with hopes doing so will make the tour a safe and friendly work environment. As touring can be mentally grueling, her new team will also have access to mental health support while on the road.”

Take that all for what you will.

SZA’s ‘SOS’ Tour And Its Steep Ticket Prices Are Making Fans Really Nervous For Beyonce’s ‘Renaissance’ Tour

2023 is shaping up to be a very good year for concerts — but for some hardcore music fans, that isn’t exactly a good thing. In the past week, no fewer than three marquee artists have announced or have been rumored to be holding tours in arenas or stadiums next year, and considering the overlap in their respective fanbases, Beyoncé, Janet Jackson, and SZA fans have been eyeing their budgets and figuring out how to bolster their bank accounts for the coming onslaught.

Using Jackson and SZA’s tours as a benchmark, fans are especially nervous for the prices on Beyoncé’s rumored tour, for which she’s allegedly making preparations but has not yet announced. “These SZA ticket prices make me very anxious for Beyoncé’s,” wrote one fan. Others, meanwhile, have made the tough choice and foregone the other two in favor of saving for Beyoncé. “me letting all the people spend all they money on SZA and Janet tickets so I can sweep these front row tics for beyonce renaissance tour,” joked another fan.

SZA announced her SOS tour with opener Omar Apollo earlier this week; that’s set to kick off in February. Meanwhile, Janet’s Together Again tour, also announced this week, launches in April supported by none other than Ludacris. And all that’s without a possible appearance from Rihanna, who is also rumored to be returning to the tour circuit next year after performing the Super Bowl Halftime Show. That GloRilla assistant job isn’t looking so bad now, is it?
