Shortly after the release of Beyoncé’s Renaissance Tour film, the star took to social media to offer her gratitude for its success so far. Both she and Taylor Swift did exclusive distribution deals with AMC Theaters to release their concert flicks — and fans have been paying in droves to go see them.

“I am so deeply thankful to AMC and every team member who worked so hard on this film,” she shared. “I just can’t thank all of you enough for your support. I am overwhelmed by the outpouring of love from my Hive. And WOW! I am so touched and encouraged by the incredible reviews!!!”

“I love seeing everyone all dressed up in their most opulent lewks in the theaters,” Beyoncé added. “The mute challenges still happening, even in the theater!! Y’all are cracking me up. Please keep that energy going. I can’t wait to see what else yall do :).”

The post’s video also shows off the red carpet moments across Beyoncé’s two premieres for the movie.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the movie brought in $21.8 million “from 2,536 locations in its domestic debut” and nearly 70% of attendees were between the ages of 18 to 34. And, as it’s only been playing for a few days, the total amount Beyoncé makes will keep increasing.

Sarah Francis Jones Went Into Labor At Beyoncé’s ‘Renaissance’ Tour And Gave Birth To The Beyhive’s Youngest Member

When Beyoncé tells the world to stop, typically it does. However, that wasn’t the case for Hairspray actress Sarah Francis Jones. In fact, the excitement from the Grammy Award record holder’s final Renaissance World Tour stop in Inglewood led the actress to give birth to the Beyhive’s youngest member.

While attending the recording artist’s September 4 birthday performance at SoFi Stadium, Jones recorded herself having a grand ol’ time dancing and singing along but by the end of the night, the audience around her was a medical team as she was set to deliver her baby girl. During an interview with KTLA, the star revealed that initially, she thought the sharp aches she was experiencing when at the concert were false labor pains (medically referred to as Braxton Hicks).

“I said, ‘Something’s happening.’ Usually, I like to dance at the concert, and I was like, ‘OK, I need to sit down for a second,” said Jones.

But as the discomfort increased, Jones and her partner, Marcel Spears, knew it was time. “The biggest contractions happened during ‘Virgo’s Groove.’ As the concert went on, we were like, ‘I don’t know about this.’ By the time we got to the car into the parking lot, it was full-on intense,” Spears added.

Jones vlogged the experience on her official Instagram page. In the video, as she participated in the ‘Eerbody On Mute’ challenge, you notice a shift in her bubbly personality.

Although Jones and Spears’ baby girl is indeed a Virgo, just like Beyoncé, their daughter missed the cut-off date to share the same birthday with the star as she was officially born on September 5. Friends and family of Jones, as well as fellow Beyhive members, took to the entertainer’s comment section to offer their well wishes.

Kendrick Lamar And Diana Ross Made Beyoncé’s Birthday Special By Joining Her On Stage At The ‘Renaissance’ Tour

Beyoncé posted up at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California this weekend for a run of concerts as part of her ongoing Renaissance tour. She made a splash towards the end of the show when Kendrick Lamar joined her on stage to perform their remix of Renaissance highlight “America Has A Problem.”

Furthermore, Diana Ross made an appearance as well, popping up to sing “Happy Birthday” to Beyoncé, who turned 42 yesterday.

Lamar and Ross weren’t the only big names at the show: Per Pop Base, also attending the concert were Adele, Zendaya, Tom Holland, the Kardashians, Justin Bieber, Lizzo, Katy Perry, Kate Hudson, Normani, Brandy, Chris Rock, Timothée Chalamet, Kylie Jenner, Jennifer Hudson, Christina Aguilera, Quinta Brunson, Ayo Edebiri, and Yung Miami.

There was a lot of silver in the audience, as Beyoncé requested that Renaissance attendees show up in silver-colored outfits in observance of Virgo season. This was good news for a lot of Etsy sellers, who saw significant increases in sales of their silvery products.

Beyond that, Beyoncé also celebrated her big day by sharing a new song, posting it on her Instagram.

Where To Park By SoFi Stadium For Beyoncé’s ‘Renaissance Tour’

Beyonce’s Renaissance Tour finally arrived in Los Angeles this week, taking over Inglewood’s SoFi Stadium for three days of chrome-clad cavorting with the singer as the tour nears its end. If you were among those fortunate enough to grab a ticket, congratulations! But if you’ve never been to SoFi — not a big Rams fan, we get it — you might be having some anxiety figuring out where to park, which can be an ordeal at just about any venue, but especially one where over 70,000 fans might show up.

Fortunately, there are a few options to help you out so you can worry less about missing Ms. Knowles-Carter’s grand stage entrance. While SoFi’s own page offers plenty of information, there are a few other options available. If you’ve got the cash on hand, ParkWhiz can help you book a spot, as can ticket resale sites like StubHub and Vivid Seats.

Meanwhile, Inglewood itself offers its own Park & Go service which should save you some money, as the remote lots cost $38.25 each and the shuttle is $8.70 per person for a round trip. The Kia Forum, which is conveniently (or inconveniently, if you live in Inglewood or need to drive through on a double-event day) located near SoFi, also has parking for the shows, although you’ll end up doing some walking — wear comfy shoes.

Beyond that, LA Metro is a decent way to get around (from personal experience), with a regular ride only costing $1.75 and recently introduced fare capping allowing you to ride for free after three rides when you pay with a TAP Card. And, of course, there’s always Lyft and Uber, but remember that traffic is going to be hectic and fares will probably see enormous surge pricing increases (plus, there’s the whole “not a lot of drivers actually want to pickup/dropoff in Inglewood due to the insane traffic” thing). Good luck and enjoy the show!

Beyoncé Will Be Named An Honorary Mayor Of Santa Clara And Receive The Key To The City

Beyoncé truly has done it all. She’s a record-breaking star. And now, she’s adding becoming the honorary mayor of Santa Clara, California to her list of achievements.

As she brings her massive Renaissance Tour to the city later this week, Santa Clara is welcoming her presence by letting her take over. Because of this, she will also receive a special key to the city.

“Well Amakai Japanese Cuisine was here last time Beyoncé was out, and she brought great crowds,” Cindy Shen, a local business owner, told Fox 2 KTVU. “[Also,] It’s not just Amakai Japanese Sushi. It’s for everybody in this plaza and everyone on the other side as well. Beyoncé will bring crowds from everywhere; from Sacramento, Southern California. You name it. They’re coming from everywhere.”

Additionally, public transportation service for the city will be increased by 30% to accommodate the influx of concertgoers that will be traveling both to and from the show. “We urge people to just have patience,” Santa Clara Valley’s transportation authority spokesperson Stacey Hendler Ross also told the news outlet. “They’re going to be a lot more crowded than they normally are starting around 4:30 or 5 o’clock in the afternoon.”

Her show this week also marks a significant moment for the pop star to become the honorary mayor, as it will be her fifth time performing at Levi’s Stadium.

Beyoncé’s Birthday Request Reportedly Increased Some Etsy Stores’ Silver Outfit Sales By 200%

Beyoncé’s Adidas deal may not have been as lucrative as expected, but the pop queen still has the power to mobilize her massive fan base to change a company’s fortunes almost at a whim. In 2020, her lyrical shout-out sent aspiring entrepreneurs to OnlyFans en masse, and more recently, she reportedly raised some Etsy stores’ traffic by as much as 400% after making a very specific birthday request.

As the Houston singer nears the end of her Renaissance Tour, she asked the fans to turn her remaining dates into a shimmering display with silver outfits to celebrate Virgo season. “We’ll surround ourselves in a shimmering human disco ball each night, everybody mirroring each other’s joy,” she wrote on Instagram.

Fans have enthusiastically complied. According to TMZ, chrome-colored outfits on the e-com site’s network of handmade apparel shops are selling out across the platform. One company that makes sequin fans reported a 200 percent increase in sales in addition to the aforementioned 400% traffic bump.

Meanwhile, another retailer, Radiancy Designs, said its traffic quadrupled with 80% coming from Renaissance Tour-related search keywords. From this writer’s own experience over the weekend, even brick-and-mortar shops on LA’s popular Melrose shopping strip have been advertising their shiniest silver vestments in anticipation of the Renaissance Tour’s arrival later this week. So, good luck getting ready — although Beyoncé’s Amazon merch is still available!

Beyoncé Declared Washington DC As The ‘Eerbody On Mute War Winner’

Throughout her Renaissance tour, Beyoncé has issued a fun challenge to her audiences: When she sings the line “Look around / Everybody on mute” from Renaissance highlight “Energy,” the audience is supposed to remain as quiet as they possibly can. Well, Beyoncé was particularly impressed by one tour stop, as she declared one city the winner: Washington DC.

On August 6, Beyoncé performed at FedExField in Landover, Maryland (just a few miles outside of the DC city limits). Fan-shoot footage shows that when it came to the moment of truth, most people in attendance did a terrific job of shutting their mouths and allowing a profound near-silence to settle across the venue. Beyoncé even gave DC an official acknowledgement, writing on her website that the city was the “eerbody on mute war winner.”

While that moment went well, the evening got off to a rocky start: Before the show started, FedExField issued a shelter-in-place order due to lightning in the area. Fans were eventually allowed to return to their sets, but it did cause a delay for the show. Beyoncé came through, though: The singer paid $100,000 to extend the DC Metro trains by an hour, so fans would be able to get home. The money paid to “keep all 98 stations open for customers to exit and operational expenses.”

Beyoncé’s Stunning ‘Renaissance’ Tour Opening Night Has Her Father Reflecting On The Singer’s Childhood Drive

At last, Beyoncé’s Renaissance tour kicked off in Sweden yesterday (May 10), and the show has her father, Mathew Knowles, in a reflective mood.

Yesterday, he tweeted, “I’m just looking at a video from Beyoncé’s first show in Stockholm. Amazing! Just amazing! I remember when Beyoncé was a little girl and all she wanted to be was an entertainer. She has worked so very hard to be the best entertainer in the world, and I am so immensely proud.”

This comes after a series of tweets shared on May 9, in which Knowles wrote more about his daughter’s childhood and how driven she was:

“Beyoncé kicks off The Renaissance World Tour this week. Believe it or not, I’m often still in awe as I watch her continue to soar to heights that few in history have ever been able to. […] If it’s a passion, you won’t need to tell them to go to practice, pick up the instrument, or show up to class. They’ll want to show up naturally and immerse themselves in it. […] We never once during her childhood had to tell her to show up when it came to music. She was never distracted from her inner drive. She knew what she wanted and she went after it. As parents, we didn’t need for her to be an expert or passionate about everything. She faced challenges in math, for example, but as long as she did her best and focused on her musical passion–we were happy.

For me, the start of Beyoncé’s tour this week isn’t just an addition to an already historic year where she now holds the most Grammy award wins ever. It’s a symbol of human achievement and possibility. It’s a mark of what’s possible when a child is encouraged to chase after their dream. And above all else, it hopefully serves as a beacon of light for young people and dreamers of all shapes and sizes to believe in themselves.

What Is Beyoncé’s Setlist Of Songs For The ‘Renaissance Tour?’

Beyoncé’s long-awaited Renaissance tour kicked off at Friends Arena in Solna, Sweden today (May 10), so one of the biggest questions on fans’ minds is finally being answered: What songs will Beyoncé perform?

Before the show began, fans noticed what appeared to be a setlist in the Renaissance tour book, and as photos and videos of that were shared online, it brought anticipation to a high. The book also offered plenty of photos indicating what some of the tour aesthetics would look like.

This tour could be a big one: Forbes recently reported, “Beyoncé Giselle Knowles-Carter — also known as Queen Bey — could clear nearly $2.2 billion from her Renaissance World Tour — some $600 million more than the $1.6 billion Taylor Swift could earn from Eras. Those eyepopping estimates are based on the most optimistic assumptions of the number of fans buying tickets at their concerts and high average ticket prices of about $700.”

As of this post, the concert is ongoing. Check out the setlist for the Sweden concert so far (via Variety) below.

1. “Dangerously In Love”
2. “Flaws And All”
3. “1+1” / “I’d Rather Go Blind” / “I’m Going Down”
4. “I Care”
5. “I’m That Girl”
6. “Cozy”
7. “Alien Superstar” / “Sweet Dreams” / “Lift Off”
8. “Cuff It”
9. “Energy”
10. “Break My Soul”

Beyoncé’s ‘Renaissance’ Tour Announcement Led To Fans Rushing To Buy Her Shimmering Disco Ball Cowboy Hat

Beyonce is heading on a world tour in support of her latest album, last year’s Renaissance. This run is so important that the Senate Judiciary Committee issued a warning to Ticketmaster ahead of the pre-sale to make sure fans could acquire tickets without trouble.

But it’s also so important that an online shop had to shut down because of too many sales. According to TMZ, Abby Misbin, or “Trending By Abby” on Etsy, made so many sales because of the disco ball cowboy hat she made for Beyonce in June after her stylist reached out to her. She usually got 5 to 6 sales a week, but after the announcement of the Renaissance Tour, she made 60 in a day. Because they’re handmade, she can only make two a day. They cost $140.

As for how to scoop up tickets, Ticketmaster recently explained, “Demand for this tour is expected to be high. If there is more demand than there are tickets available, a lottery-style selection process will determine which registered Verified Fans get a unique access code and which are placed on the waitlist. A Verified Fan access code does not guarantee tickets, it just gives you access to join the sale. All tickets will be sold on a first come, first served basis. If tickets remain, the lottery-style process will be used to invite more Verified Fans from the waitlist to join the sale.”
