Lil Wayne and 2 Chainz are two artists who have collaborated quite a bit in the past. Overall, the two know how to make some phenomenal tracks together. In fact, they have an entire collaborative project. This album was released back in 2016 and is simply called ColleGrove. Although only 2 Chainz is credited as the primary artist, this is still very much a collab tape. It is one that is wrapped in nostalgia, and fans have been waiting for some kind of follow-up.
Well, it is pretty clear that Lil Wayne is in album mode right now. He just dropped Tha Fix Before Tha VI which was a teaser to Tha Carter VI. Prior to dropping his much-awaited sequel to his popular album series, Wayne is now teaming up with 2 Chainz again. This time, they are going to be dropping a follow-up to ColleGrove. The album is appropriately titled Welcome 2 ColleGrove and the lead single “Presha” dropped last night. Furthermore, it would appear as though we have a release date.
According to new information from Apple Music, you can expect Welcome 2 ColleGrove to come out on Friday, November 17th. Overall, this is a very interesting move considering Nicki Minaj is going to release her album on the very same day. Considering Wayne and Nicki’s relationship, one could wonder about the thought process here. Especially when you consider how Minaj had announced her album first. However, there is always the strong possibility that it is all just random chance.
No matter what, both albums are going to get their fair share of love once they drop. Wayne and 2 Chainz are two artists with massive fanbases, and this project promises to be a great one. Let us know your expectations for Welcome 2 ColleGrove, in the comments section down below. Additionally, stay tuned to HNHH for the latest news and updates from around the music world. We will always keep you informed on all of your favorite artists.
The last time we heard a solo album from 42-year-old Danny Brown was in 2019 when he dropped off Uknowhatimsayin¿. Since then, hip-hop heads have been eager to hear more from the Texas-based creative, who’s been hinting at his upcoming LP, Quaranta for some time now. Today (October 17), a release date of November 17 was finally confirmed, along with the arrival of Brown’s “Tantor” single and an Uncanny-directed visual featuring an eye-catching futuristic cyborg suit.
Earlier this year, the “Grown Up” recording artist completed a stint in rehab that’s seemingly changed his outlook on many things in life. As a result, it’s likely we’ll be introduced to a new version of Brown through his latest body of work. Pitchfork notes that he’s described Quaranta (meaning “40” in Italian) as a “spiritual bookend” to his 2011 effort, XXX, which arrived on his 30th birthday.
Elsewhere in 2023, Brown connected with JPEGMAFIA for a joint LP called Scaring the Hoes. They subsequently went on tour together, which helped amp the Detroit-born lyricist’s audience up for his next solo project, as well as expand his already impressive fanbase. The next time you can catch the rapper live will be at the 10th annual Bruiser Thanksgiving, which he’s set to host and perform at on November 22 at the Russell Industrial Center in his hometown.
On his Quaranta album, Danny Brown will be collaborating with a small host of other artists. Bruiser Wolf joins him on “Y.B.P.,” followed by Kassa Overall’s work on “Jenn’s Terrific Vacation.” The final joint effort on the tracklist is “Celibate” featuring MIKE. Keep scrolling to see all 11 songs on the upcoming LP, and let us know if you’ll be streaming when it drops on November 17 in the comments.
At the end of this week, Lil Wayne is scheduled to drop his new album Tha Fix Before Tha VI. The offering comes just ahead of the release of Tha Carter VI, on September 29. He teased the project earlier this month, providing fans with the project’s cover art. The performer took to social media today to unveil its tracklist, and to share the news of its release date.
According to his post, the album features Jon Batiste, Euro, and Fousheé. The 10-track album is sure to hold fans over while they await the sixth installment of Lil Wayne’s Tha Carter series. News of Tha Fix Before Tha VI certainly came as a welcome surprise to listeners, who have been waiting on Tha Carter VI for some time now. The LP is also Lil Wayne’s first solo effort since his 2020 mixtape, No Ceilings.
According to reports, Tha Carter VI and Tha Fix Before Tha VI aren’t the only projects that Lil Wayne plans to drop this year. During a recent interview with BET, 2 Chainz also revealed that he has a collaborative album with Lil Wayne on the way, COLLEGROVE 2. “I consider Wayne my brother and love working with him,” the artist explained. “The album is expected to drop before the year ends, and Amazon Music will support the project.”

Bad Bunny’s interview with Vanity Fair dropped recently, and saw him opening up about his romance with Kendall Jenner, his inspirations, and more. Of course, he also discussed his new music. It was reported that the Puerto Rican performer planned to drop his next album sometime this year, however, some new text messages appear to suggest otherwise. A screenshot of the texts seems to show Bad Bunny asking where he confirmed the new album’s coming in 2023, and claiming that he never said that.
This doesn’t necessarily mean that the album won’t arrive this year. It just may not be as set in stone as fans previously thought. As expected, supporters eagerly-awaiting his next project have made their disappointment known on social media, taking to Twitter to weigh in. “NOOOOOOOOOO,” one commenter writes. “Aw man!” another social media user says.
Though Bad Bunny’s new album might be arriving later than fans had hoped, it is sure to pack a punch. Bad Bunny said he feels more connected to this album than others, and it could be his most vulnerable yet. “Now more than ever,” he began. “I feel more confident in talking about what I think, what I feel, and how I am living through my music.”
As for his rumored fling with Jenner, the 29-year-old kept his lips mostly sealed. He took the opportunity to instead call out fans expecting to know every intimate detail of celebrities’ personal lives. The artist noted that they deserve privacy just like anyone else. “I’m not really interested in clarifying anything because I have no commitment to clarify anything to anyone,” he expressed. Are you disappointed that the new album could arrive later than expected? Share your thoughts in the comments section down below, and keep an eye on HNHH for more updates on Bad Bunny.
Apple unveiled the latest iPhone model on September 12. Although there are more of the same, there are also significant differences. This year, the products announced at the Apple Event are three-fold. The Apple Watch Series 9 was introduced, as well as the Apple Watch Series Ultra 2, and also the iPhone 15 series. The event, tagged “Wonderlust,” was held at Apple Park, and received extensive media coverage.
The annual unveiling event typically covers product announcements and information about upcoming software updates. The upgrades contained in the iPhone 15 series, however, are far beyond just software advancements. It is a significantly improved iteration of the iPhone 14, which has continued to reach new heights with each upgrade. The iPhone 15 also boasts some swanky new features that would appeal to most tech-savvy users. Nonetheless, even regular Joes will enjoy the new line of upcoming Apple products. The iPhone has now become a substitute for recording studios, movie cameras, and more. In this internet age where technology advances daily, the iPhone may arguably be heads and shoulders above every other smartphone out right now. It will also be available to pre-order on Apple’s website from Friday, September 15.
The iPhone 15 series consists of four variants of the model. These are: iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro, and the iPhone 15 Pro Max. They are the seventeenth-generation flagship iPhones and are preceded by the iPhone 14 series. Much like the 14, however, the latest gadget will share the same model system, with minor adjustments for better user experience.
The Design
Keeping the trend of the last few generations of iPhones, the design changes on the iPhone 15 are not particularly new. Specifically, the model shares a striking similarity with models from the previous generations, especially the iPhone 14. However, the subtle changes in the design of the iPhone 15 series may make all the difference to some, owing entirely to their distinction, especially with the Pro models.
The iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus look quite similar to the iPhone 14, but have been designed to be more comfortable to hold. A slight curve on the back edges of the 15 and 15 Plus models should ensure more comfort with handling the phones. The iPhone 15 also weighs slightly less than the iPhone 14, at an outstanding 6.03 oz (171.0g). Similarities between the base 14 and 15 models also include the volume controls and lock/unlock button, which appear in the same locations. The iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus are available in the following colors; black, blue, green, yellow, and pink.
With the Pro models, however, the design of the iPhone 15 is more dramatically upgraded. Most notably, the materials the Pro models are made of are vastly different. For example, the frames of the iPhone 15 Pro, and iPhone 15 Pro Max are reportedly made of aerospace-grade titanium. This is as opposed to the stainless steel frames of the iPhone 14 series. Additionally, the mute switch has been replaced by a new customizable action button. Furthermore, the iPhone 15 Pro, and iPhone 15 Pro Max will have four new color options. They are listed on the Apple website as black titanium, white titanium, blue titanium, and natural titanium.
The sizes of the standard and pro models of the iPhone 15 have stayed the same as the iPhone 14 series. However, the resolution of the 15 series is notably higher than the 14, as well as older models. Furthermore, the lightning connector has finally been ditched for the USB-C, making the iPhone 15 series the first generation of iPhones with this feature. The inclusion of this feature leads to the next interesting addition to the latest iPhones — reverse charging. Apple Watches and 2nd-gen AirPods Pros can now be charged by plugging into an iPhone 15. AirPods Pros will similarly include a USB-C port for charging.
Another noteworthy new feature is the installment of the A17 Pro chip on the phones. Additionally, the iPhone 15 Pro models have the Apple GPU 6-core installed. They also each have a RAM of 8GB, more phone memory than any of the older iterations of the iPhone. Finally, as expected, the cameras on these iPhones are much cooler and more dynamic than their predecessors. According to the iPhone 15 trailer, the iPhone 15 Pro has “a camera that can literally shoot a blockbuster film.”

Nas will be dropping his next collaborative album with Hit-Boy, Magic 3, later this week, on Thursday, September 14, 2023. He made the announcement on Instagram, Tuesday, thanking fans for their continued support of both himself and his frequent collaborator over the years.
“I want to thank everyone for taking this ride with @hitboy & I. It’s been nothing short of Magical! The Album Drops On My Birthday. 9•14 at 9PM. Forever Grateful, Enjoy!! Nasir Jones,” he captioned a blurry photo of himself. Fans were stoked to hear the announcement in the comments section. “Greatness. Nasir, a true representation of hip hop who is always doing it for the culture,” one fan commented. Another wrote: “What a great run. peace to the goat.”
A third project in the Magic series comes just a few short months after Nas dropped the prior album. At the time, he remarked on social media that he’s in the midst of the best year of his life. “I’m happy to be around making new music because I love it,” he wrote on Twitter. “Having the best year of my life. I caught the Holy Spirit and I’m grateful to be giving it all to the world. Magic 2.” Magic 2 featured 50 Cent and 21 Savage. Check out Nas’ announcement for the new Magic album below.
Following the release of Magic 3, Nas will have dropped six consecutive albums produced by Hit-Boy. The run has notched the two a Grammy Award for Best Rap Album with the original King’s Disease as well as nominations for Best Rap Song and a second for Best Rap Album. Be on the lookout for further updates on Nas’ Magic 3 on HotNewHipHop in the coming days.
Unfortunately for Lil Uzi Vert fans, it seems like their upcoming mixtape Barter 16 is turning out to be just as mythical and long-awaited as their past projects like Pink Tape and Eternal Atake. Considering full song leaks and continuous teases, some fans fear that it may be too good to be true. Regardless, the Philly superstar is still committed to dropping the album soon, or at least that’s what they told fans (or reporters… or both) when they approached them in their vehicle. Moreover, Uzi stated that they want to drop the Young Thug-tributing release by the end of next week. Not only that, but they shared that they want to drop a whole other album, too.
Furthermore, this is one of a few recent hints that actually point to Barter 16 coming soon. For example, producer London On Da Track recently teased via Twitter that they handed the project in. Whether it was Lil Uzi Vert who did so or London himself, we don’t know, but it’s promising either way. Still, many fans (for good reason) won’t believe it until they see it, but when they do, it’ll most likely be quite the special occasion.
Another aspect of the Barter 16 hype cycle are Lil Uzi Vert’s various studio sessions with other rappers and industry figures. Most recently, they teamed up with Veeze and A$AP Bari, who already have past history with Uzi and could make for some chemistry-filled collabs. In addition, none other than Birdman went to cook some stuff up with the “F.F.” MC after he requested to be on the project. Just goes to show, folks: ask and you shall receive. Well, maybe being a ridiculously successful rap executive will get you farther in that regard.
In any case, hype is as prevalent as ever for Barter 16, and fortunately it seems like the leaks haven’t turned the mixtape into a distant past. Perhaps in the near future we’ll finally get to hear it, or this is just another case of eternal teasing and promises until it’s actually ready. Whatever happens, we’re here for it. On that note, come back to HNHH for the latest news and updates on Lil Uzi Vert.
Cardi B says that her long-awaited sophomore album will be dropping in 2024. While discussing the project Ebro in the Morning, Cardi confirmed that fans won’t be able to hear the new music before the end of the year.
“You know what? I was indecisive but I was like, you know what? I should already start talking about the album because I’m going to be putting it out very soon,” she began. “But it’s like I have to watch it because I always feel like somebody watching me — it’s going to come out when it’s going to come out.” When asked if fans can expect the project before Christmas, Cardi confirmed: “I can say that; it’s not going to come out this year.”
Cardi also addressed the idea that rumors of Taylor Swift possibly dropping a new project in the fall influenced her promotion plans. “I wasn’t even thinking like that — my first album and everything — I just like, for this album, I’m just holding it because I feel like I’m missing a couple of things,” she admitted. “Then on top of that, everything just has to be like perfect from everything because I feel like people are expecting so much.” Check out Cardi’s interview with Ebro below.
Cardi B Discusses Her Next Album
Her latest comments come after she teased having a specific date in mind already for the project. Speaking with DJ Whoo Kid, she noted that it’s not her birthday. “I’m kinda still working but I have a date in mind,” she began. “It’s not coming out on my birthday. Matter fact, I don’t want nothing coming out in the month of October. October is my month. I don’t want no shit related to work in October, okay.”
Drake has been teasing a new album called For All The Dogs over the last few weeks. Overall, there has been a lot of misinformation circulating about the project. For instance, many thought that the album would be released on August 25th. However, that day came and went without an album. This led to Drizzy letting the fans know that the project would be dropping soon. Fans were very much excited about this, and there has been anticipation for a release date, every since.
Last night, Drake was wearing some jewelry in his ear that spelled out the date 09/22. Of course, this stands for September 22nd. Fans were very curious as to whether or not this was a real clue or simply a decoy. Plenty of interesting theories were being floated around today, and the anticipation of a real announcement had been building. Well, just moments ago, Drake announced that his new album, will indeed, be dropping on Friday, September 22nd.
The video that accompanies this announcement is of his father Dennis Graham. In the video, Graham is performing some music with a band behind him. The footage appears to be from the 90s, and he is referred to as “Cousin Dennis.” Overall, it is some very cool footage to bear witness to, and there is no doubt that Dennis will be a huge inspiration for this album. As for the direction of the project, no one knows what to truly expect. All we know is that it is going to sell exceptionally well.
Let us know what your expectations of the album are, in the comments section below. Additionally, stay tuned to HNHH for the latest news and updates from around the music world. We will always be sure to keep you updated on the biggest albums from the biggest artists. There are plenty more great projects to drop this year.
Drake may have just teased the release date for his upcoming album, For All The Dogs, with a cryptic post on Instagram. On his Story, Drake shared a picture of the back of his head and astute fans have noticed that the numbers 0, 9, 2, and 2 are beaded into his hair going downwards. This could represent the date September 22nd, which, being a Friday, would make sense as a release date for new music.
Drake has been hyping up an announcement of the release date for For All The Dogs for months at this point. While in New York, earlier this summer, he described it as being just “weeks away.” Then in August, Amazon Music appeared to leak August 25th as a release date, but that day came and went with no new music. Most recently, during a concert at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on Friday, the Toronto rapper promised to supply fans with more details shortly.
“I know y’all worried about this album. You think I’mma wait till, like, next year to drop this s**t. I promise you I’m not, I promise you,” he said at the time. “I got an album coming out called For All the Dogs. It’s — I know I say this a lot — it’s real close. I might give you the date in Vegas, maybe tomorrow night. I don’t know, I gotta go listen to it one more time. It’s coming. It’s coming real soon.” Check out Drake’s latest apparent hint at a release date for the album below.
Drake Possibly Teases “For All The Dogs” Release Date
As for further details on For All The Dogs, Drake has held his cards close to his chest. He did, however, reveal that his longtime collaborator Nicki Minaj will be a guest on the project during a concert in Detroit in July.
