Cardi B liked a post on social media denying she and her estranged husband, Offset, have reconciled. The move comes after Thee Pop Feed reported that the two were back together after attending a Travis Scott concert. “Cardi B has officially took Offset back after 12 days,” the report on social media reads. “They were both spotted at Travis Scott’s concert tonight in New Jersey.”
In response, blogger Ken Barbie posted a clip of Kandi Burress exclaiming “You just made that up!” from Love and Hip Hop: Atlanta. Cardi B liked the reply, seemingly confirming the lack of a reconciliation.

Cardi first confirmed that she and Offset were done during a livestream on Instagram on December 10. “I been single for a minute now,” she said at the time. “I just don’t know how to tell the world, I feel like today has been a sign. The last time I got on Live, I kinda wanted to tell you guys. But I didn’t know how to tell you. I changed my mind. But it has been like this for a minute now. I just took it as a sign. Controversial figure Dr. Umar went after Vanessa Bryant during his recent appearance on The Joe Budden Podcast. Umar accused Bryant of “not doing sh-t” to “uplift the Black community” in the ways that she has spent her late husband’s money in recent years. Umar pointed to a “sports initiative” that Bryant recently started with “six predominantly white colleges”. Umar’s anger came as a result of Bryant not “choosing a single HBCU”. Umar was referring to the Mamba & Mambacita Sports Foundation. In September, the foundation announced partnerships with UConn, USC, Kentucky, Oregon, Duke, and LSU. Of note – UConn was seen as the frontrunner in the recruitment of Gigi Bryant before her death.
However, Umar was largely shouted down by the Joe Budden crew. One contributor argued that “there are plenty of angry Black wives who got a Black man’s money and didn’t do sh-t for the Black community”. As with many of Umar’s moments, it felt more like he was talking to be heard than actually having something to say.

Meanwhile, earlier this year, Vanessa Bryant announced that her late husband would be receiving a statue at Crypto.com Arena. “On behalf of the Lakers, my daughters and me, I am so honored that, right here in the center of Los Angeles, in front of the place known as ‘The House that Kobe Built,’ we are going to unveil his statue so that his legacy can be celebrated forever,” Bryant said in her video announcement. Kobe will be the seventh Laker to be honored with a statue. The statue walk currently bears the likenesses of Elgin Baylor, Shaq, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Magic Johnson, Jerry West, and Chick Hearn.
The Lakers said that the statue had been in development for some time. Furthermore, they noted that Kobe himself had been part of the initial design process. The team also said it would be the first in a “series of physical tributes” to the late star. “Kobe Bryant was one of the most extraordinary athletes of all time and one of the most iconic individuals in the history of Los Angeles,” said team owner Jeanie Buss. “There is no better place for Kobe to be honored with a statue than here, at the center of our city, where everyone can celebrate him and be inspired by his incredible achievements.”
Scott and Andrea Swift, the parents of Taylor Swift, were spotted mingling with Ed Kelce, the father of Travis Kelce, at the Chiefs’ game against Las Vegas over Christmas. The meeting was captured by a Chiefs fan who had their camera turned towards the Kelce family box at Arrowhead Stadium. However, Kelce’s mother Donna was not present as she was in Philadelphia to watch Jason Kelce.
It is believed that the Swift and Kelce families originally met when the Chiefs and Eagles played against one another earlier in the season. Rumors that Remy and Eazy had an affair began to gain steam back in June when Papoose reportedly got into an altercation with the battle rapper at a Chrome 23 event. In the late ‘90s, Hollywood was abuzz with the tale of two rising stars: Matt Damon and Minnie Driver. Their on-screen chemistry in the critically acclaimed film Good Will Hunting (1997) spilled into real life. As a result, the media and fans absolutely couldn’t get enough of them.
As the leading man and lady of the Oscar-winning film, Damon and Driver’s relationship became a subject of fascination among onlookers. Unfortunately, their romance soon came to an end. Now, over two decades after they parted ways, their old relationship is stirring up conversations once again. After a video from the 1998 Oscars recently resurfaced, the names of the former lovers have returned to fans’ lips. Here’s a timeline of their brief ‘90s romance.
April – June 1997: Matt Damon & Minnie Driver Meet & Start Dating
In 1998, Damon and Driver met on the set of Good Will Hunting. Filming for the movie took place between April and June 1997. Within that time, the two became pleasantly acquainted. As filming progressed, so did their relationship- both for the characters they portrayed and in real life. They took a liking to each other, and by the time filming wrapped in June, they were smitten.
Subsequently, they began dating, marking the beginning of a passionate but short romantic relationship. In an interview with The Telegraph in 2012, Driver spoke about how she fell in love with Damon during the making of the movie. “In real life, by the time we filmed this scene, I was completely in love with Matt,” she said. “I was blown away by his commitment to me as an actor, he was cute and intelligent and altogether a really charming package. I was young and I fell for him – it’s an occupational hazard.”
Late 1997: All Loved Up

During the promotion of Good Will Hunting and in subsequent interviews, Damon and Driver were often seen together. Admittedly, they were co-stars, so it was only natural. However, they had started dating by then, and their chemistry was undeniable whenever they appeared on-screen together. In an interview on the Late Show with David Letterman, Matt Damon enthusiastically spoke about Minnie Driver and their relationship. The actor said that she “pretty much rocked my world.”
January 1998: A Surprising Announcement
After a couple months of being together, things came to a surprising end between Driver and Damon. On an episode of The Oprah Winfrey Show in January 1998, Matt Damon shared that he was single. According to E! News, Damon said on the show, “Well, I’m single. I was with Minnie for a while, but we’re not really romantically involved anymore. We’re just really good friends, and I love her dearly… I care about her a lot. We care about each other a lot. It wasn’t meant to be, you know? And if it’s not meant to be, then it’s not meant to be.”
Subsequently, Minnie Driver addressed the matter of their breakup. Two months after the Oprah interview, the 70th Academy Awards ceremony took place. Both Damon and Driver were nominated in acting categories, and their movie had seven more nominations. Although neither won in their acting categories, Matt Damon and Ben Affleck bagged a win for Best Screenplay. Additionally, the late Robin Williams won the Oscar for Best Supporting Actor.
During their acceptance speech, Damon and Affleck acknowledged several people, one of whom was Minnie Driver. When her name was mentioned, the camera panned to the actress’ face, and she had a forlorn look rather than one of joy. This is the clip that recently resurfaced and sparked conversation. Fans, upon seeing the clip, pointed out that Driver looked quite sad, even though her co-stars had just won an award.
The clip was posted on the MovieShmood Instagram account. Minnie Driver commented, “My face,” alongside multiple laughing emojis. Additionally, she replied to a comment under the post that read, “Minnie looks so sad.” In her response, she was as clear as day about the reason for her expression.
“Matt had ended our relationship a few weeks before this, and was at the Oscars with his new gf… I was devastated. Wish I could have celebrated more as it was an amazing moment for all of us, and for this wonderful film,” she wrote. At the end of the day, however, It’s been 25 years since they went their separate ways. Moreover, they have both moved on with their lives. Damon has been married to Luciana Bozan since 2005, and Driver is currently engaged to Addison O’Dea.
Moneybagg Yo isn’t perfect, but the multi-talent won’t let the internet ruin his name for no reason. Like most of his contemporaries, the lyricist has been accused of infidelity in the past, though he and Ari Fletcher admit to opening up their bedroom for others to join them on occasion, which seems to curb that issue in their relationship. Ahead of the holiday season, Bagg’s other half hinted at them being married for two years now, despite her previously explaining her aversion to tying the knot.
No matter what their marital status is, the 32-year-old made it clear earlier this week that he’s not being disloyal to Fletcher, despite what “receipts” social media sleuths think they have on him. “I don’t even [know] who [the f**k that] is bra. [Please] leave me alone [with] all [that] type s**t,” Bagg said in response to photos of an anonymous woman posing in front of the same pool as him going viral. “We peaceful and happy over here,” the Memphis native added, seemingly referring to his union with Ari.
In @hollywoodunlocked’s comments, many are pointing out that the images don’t tell enough to make up a narrative. “That’s literally Sean Kingston’s home where he had a party at in Miami smh,” one person pointed out. “These folks feen for dirt on him so they can clown Ari and see another woman hurt.” Another chimed in with, “Man this was at a birthday party. That man don’t know her, she came because my friend who is the birthday boy sister invited her. Shorty was in and out.”
Before Moneybagg Yo had to worry about people spreading rumours regarding his relationship with Ari Fletcher, the Hard to Love hitmaker was keeping a close eye on his other half.
