FKA Twigs & Shia LaBeouf’s Trial Facing Delays Due To Hectic Work Schedules

Unfortunately for FKA Twigs, her love life has frequently become tabloid fodder over the years. She previously dated Twilight star Robert Pattinson. Their relationship, unfortunately, fell apart partially due to the racism she endured at the hands of the franchise’s fans. Aside from that, the time she spent romancing former child star Shia LaBeouf has also caught the public’s eye.

The pair first met in 2018 on the set of Honey Boy and found themselves falling for one another quickly. According to Femstella, the film’s creator “dramatically professed his love” just a week or two into dating. By October of that year, LaBeouf convinced Twigs to join him at his home in Los Angeles. This is when their union became abusive in nature.

Court documents allege that the Disney alumn would berate and verbally assault the English actress for hours at a time. He also reportedly trapped her in their bedroom for lengthy periods. At that time he was suffering from delusions that gang members would break into their home. LaBeouf apparently slept with a rifle by the couple’s bedside. He also forced Twigs to watch documentaries specifically focusing on murdered women.

By November 2018, the Caprisongs vocalist began her plan to escape, though in February 2019 she woke up to find her partner “violently squeezing her body and arms.” Around the same time, the 35-year-old was knowingly infected with an STD by the Holes actor, who admitted to being diagnosed a year earlier and attempting to hide his flare-ups from her. In the months after this, they finally went their separate ways, and by December 2020, Twigs filed a lawsuit.

The “killer” songstress is suing LaBeouf for sexual battery, battery assault, intentional infliction of emotional distress, and gross negligence. As Radar Online notes, their trial was due to begin on April 17th, though it’s now facing delays until much later this year. Most likely, we’ll see the former couple in court on November 1st or December 6th.

Lawyers for both parties provided an update to the court earlier this week. Twigs’ states that she lives out of the country and is currently “working on entertainment projects.” For her ex, the story is mostly the same as he’s been busy filming Francis Ford Coppola’s $100M epic, Megalopolis. The actor has been spotted in various feminine costumes as of late, including gold sky-high heels and sheer white dresses.

At this time, a judge has yet to sign off on the trial’s postponement, but because neither star has sat for a deposition, it’s likely the motion will be approved. While LaBeouf is hard at work on his potential industry comeback, Twigs is eagerly awaiting The Crow reboot, which finds her starring opposite Bill Skarsgård. He ultimately died after a tragic battle with cancer, and the reality starlet moved on with Olympic athlete Caitlyn Jenner, who’s the father of her youngest two daughters.

Since the 67-year-old and her ex-husband went their separate ways in 2013, a lot has changed for both of them. The transgender star has moved further away from the spotlight. At the same time, the mother of six is constantly finding new ways to step into it. One thing that certainly caught the public’s attention is when she began dating Corey Gamble, who’s 25 years her junior.

As Page Six notes, they’ve been together since 2014. They currently live in a Calabasas mansion together next to Khloé Kardashian. The couple has had their shares of ups and downs over the years, and at times, Jenner’s children have openly questioned Gamble’s motives. He’s always been a highly private person, and to this day not much is known about him by the general public.

Regardless of any past drama, the lovers seem to be happier than ever as they’re currently facing plenty of engagement speculation. Earlier this week, the famous momager flaunted a massive diamond ring on her Instagram Story. The heart-shaped rock was shown on her ginger while her hand was placed on top of Gambles. No caption was provided, but that hasn’t stopped the internet from speculating.

“Did you see Kris’ latest [IG] story? A new ring from him? Engaged?” Reddit users began pondering. “I was thinking engagement,” one response agrees. Another person chimed in, “A Kris wedding sounds like fun content for the show.” Of course, the theories don’t confirm anything, but Page Six did get the scoop on Jenner’s exquisite new jewelry.

Kyron, Keogh, ROX’s Managing Director and Co-founder tells them, “Fit for Kardashian royalty, Kris Jenner’s ring is the picture of romance, and looks like a heart cut of approximately 10 carats, with baguette diamonds on either side.” He also mentioned that “Heart-cut diamonds are one of the most sought-after diamond shapes and are becoming increasingly popular amongst fiancés-to-be who are not afraid to stand out.”

This isn’t the first time Gamble and his long-time partner have caused wedding rumours to fly. Earlier this week, the famous duo celebrated their first Valentine’s Day together with a dinner date. Afterward, they stepped out for something even more exciting – their red carpet-debut. For the season six premiere of Snowfall, which chiefly stars Idris as Franklin Saint, Harvey joined him as his date for the evening.

They looked as glamorous as ever in their coordinated outfits, the actor sporting a dapper dark suit while the model’s curves shone in a sleek black dress. Their outfits were certainly on point, but the internet has noticed that their body language looked obviously off in some of the circulating photos and videos. Specifically, many are noting that Idris appears afraid to touch Harvey, or as if they’re preparing for an impending split.

“No chemistry,” one Instagram user wrote after seeing the couple’s latest content. “Look how far apart they’re standing lol.” It certainly didn’t take long for the Memphis native to catch wind of the comment, and she promptly offered an explanation to shut the troll up. “Or maybe I just had on body makeup and told him don’t stand close to me because I didn’t want to get it on his suit lol,” the 26-year-old began.

“Y’all try to find a problem with everything,” she then clapped back. In the past, Idris has also used his social media platform to defend his new romance, chiefly calling out the “miserable people” hating on him and his partner.

Ex-Lakers Star Trevor Ariza’s Wife Asks For Restraining Order, Alleges Abuse

Five months after filing for divorce, Trevor Ariza’s wife is asking for the court’s help. Bree Anderson reportedly married the former Los Angeles Lakers star in 2018, but in September, she officially requested to end her marriage. TMZ stated Anderson listed the reason for the split as “irreconcilable differences,” but RadarOnline reports she wants a restraining order against her ex. The outlet stated they looked at court documents that revealed Anderson’s accusations of domestic abuse.

Anderson is said to have filed a petition requesting the courts order Ariza to not only stay away from her but to block him from contacting her, as well. The pair share two children, and in her initial divorce filing, Anderson said she wanted physical and legal custody of the kids. In her new paperwork, she claimed she “fears for her safety” and doesn’t want Ariza in or near her home.

Additionally, Anderson agreed to Ariza’s visitation with the children, but she asked for it to be supervised. She also noted that her ex “engaged in acts of extreme physical abuse towards me.” Anderson wrote, “He was verbally and emotionally abusive to me. Some of the abuse occurred in the presence of our children.”

Further, Anderson explained that she didn’t leave her husband in the past because she was finally dependent on Ariza. When she filed for divorce, Anderson hoped the alleged abuse would cease. However, she claimed it didn’t help her situation and said Ariza “threatens [her] on a regular basis.” The ex-Laker reportedly called her a “hoe” and “b*tch” with their kids nearby. Because he lives less than a mile from her residence, she is concerned for her safety.

Anderson also alleged that Ariza had gone into her home without permission. She also stated that Ariza won’t pay child support and has threatened to take their children from her. “He thinks he has the right to come and go from my residence as he pleases,” she said. Anderson accused her ex of throwing her onto a bed before choking her. In another incident, she claimed he repeatedly punched her. She referenced a text message where the baller allegedly admitted to being physically violent. Ariza has not answered his wife’s allegations publicly.
