Latto Can’t Recite Ice Spice Lyrics & Twitter Thinks She’s Being Shady

Latto found herself facing backlash this weekend after drawing a blank when asked to complete lyrics from Ice Spice’s “Bikini Bottom.”

During a red carpet event, Latto fielded questions for the press but it was one journalist that tested her knowledge of current hit records. A journalist from Billboard asked Latto to complete the following bars after Ice Spice raps, “How can I lose if I’m already chose?”

Latto seemed completely unaware of what the journalist was referring to. She asked for someone to help her immediately afterward.

Shortly after the clip spread across social media, people immediately felt as if Latto was being shady towards Ice Spice. A few fans noted that it feels unlikely that Latto doesn’t know the song since she’s active on TikTok. Ice Spice’s “Bikini Bottom” became one of the leading songs on the platform upon its release.

Despite how many tried to egg on the feud, others felt that it was a reach to think that Latto was trying to shade Ice Spice.

At this point, neither artist has addressed the viral clip or the controversy surrounding it.

Though the feud between the two feels forced, it comes at a convenient time in Ice Spice’s career. Last Friday, the Bronx Baddie dropped off her debut EP, Like…? including singles like “Munch (Feel U)” and “In Ha Mood.”

As for Latto, the Atlanta rapper is nearly a year removed from the release of her last project, 777. However, it appears that she’s preparing to unleash new music on her fans throughout this year. In late 2022, she locked in with GloRilla and the late Gangsta Boo for their single, “FTCU,” an undoubtedly infectious single that pays tribute to Memphis. She’s yet to reveal her 2023 plans but maybe we could expect a new project from her this year.

Keith Murray Claims He Saw Suge Knight Slap Diddy

After so many years of history, rappers took it upon themselves to share the genre’s tales with as much vigor and vividness as possible. At least, that seems to be the mission for Keith Murray, who gave an animated account of the time when Suge Knight allegedly slapped Diddy. Moreover, the New York rapper sat down for an interview with The Art of Dialogue where he made such claims. Moreover, it’s not his first claim regarding Bad Boy Records.

“Yo, I got a story to tell you!” he exclaimed to the interviewer. “One time, we was at Platinum House… Suge was there, I was there, Puffy was there, and we was all partying and chilling and stuff, right? It got late and the night dispersed. Then all of a sudden, outside… I walk up, and then I notice ‘Yo, there’s a f**king dead body right there in front of the Platinum House!’

“Wait, it wasn’t a dead body,” he went on to clarify. “It was a story. But it was Puffy and Suge. Suge was like ‘You, you all right?’ Puffy was there Then all of a sudden I saw Suge…” and Murray exclaimed and made an energetic slap motion, “smack the dogs**t out of Puffy. I’m like ‘Oh, s**t! This is crazy!’

“Puffy paused, looked at me like, ‘Yo, that’s what I get for being too nice,’” he concluded.

Furthermore, he had some more details about the incident. According to Murray, one of Suge’s friends had recently died. Despite the slight seriousness of the story, the 48-year-old gave a very expressive and animated account. “[Suge] brought it from left field down south of Georgia on Puffy,” he said.

Meanwhile, Murray recently turned heads on social media for his wild interviews and claims. Recently, he shocked Twitter with tales of his sexual exploits allegedly involving Shawnna and Foxy Brown. Moreover, Shawnna said that he needs help and clapped back at his stories.

What do you think of Keith Murray’s tales of Suge Knight, Diddy, and his other crazy confessions? Whatever the case, let us know in the comments down below. Also, as always, come back to HNHH for more hip-hop antics and interview highlights.

Quentin Miller Details Writing “R.I.C.O.” & DJ Drama Relationship

Throughout the course of Hip-Hop history, there have been countless beefs between rappers. Although his neverending conflict with Pusha T has become a career-defining back-and-forth for him, Drake’s first major beef involved Meek Mill. While tensions were undoubtedly brewing behind the scenes, most casual fans can trace their conflict back to “R.I.C.O.” That Dreams Worth More Than Money cut led to a war of words and diss tracks between the close collaborators. Furthermore, it led to Atlanta-based rapper Quentin Miller being exposed as Drake’s alleged ghostwriter.

Eventually, the Meek and Drake beef was squashed, and in the years since, the two reunited on 2018’s “Going Bad.” Despite their reconciliation, Quentin Miller has still had to combat ghostwriting labels throughout his career. Now, in a candid sit-down with DJ Vlad, the WDNG Crshrs artist revealed more of the backstory behind “R.I.C.O.”

Quentin Miller discusses “R.I.C.O.,” Drake, DJ Drama, and Meek Mill during his latest VladTV interview.

“R.I.C.O.” single-handedly caused one of the biggest riffs in the music industry upon its release. Surprisingly, Quentin Miller wasn’t even initially aware that Drake decided to use his reference track. What’s more, Quentin Miller found out about it through DJ Drama.

“I had a super tight relationship with Drama at the time, so I sent him that. Just on some, ‘Check me out,’” Miller explained. “I looked up to Drama the same way I looked up to Drake. It’s like these are two legends, so [I was] just getting their approval on shit. A lot of times, just send shit or whatever.”

He continued, saying, “Then one random day in a club with Drama in L.A., he’s like, ‘Yo, you know Meek got on that joint.’ And I’m like, ‘What joint?’ He’s like, ‘The “R.I.C.O.” joint.’” And at the time, I hadn’t heard Drake’s version of “R.I.C.O.” I didn’t even know that Drake did it. So by the time I found out, we were already in it. We were in the thick of this shit.”

Elsewhere in the VladTV interview, Miller revealed that Meek Mill allegedly contacted Miller to write for him as well. However, Miller asserted that the energy was off, so he claims he repeatedly denied Meek’s requests.

Lupe Fiasco Says “F**k Kid Cudi For Life”

Even with the holiday season underway, some rap beef stayed raw this week. Lupe Fiasco answered a couple of questions on Twitter today, one of which related to his beef with Kid Cudi. In unfiltered fashion, Lupe Fiasco indicated that his beef with Kid Cudi is still as strong as ever. Cudder has yet to respond, although he had posted a prophetically anti-bad vibes message to social media just hours prior.

“We see some of the young guys saying “stop the violence” and squashing beef that had bloodshed,” a user asked Lupe. “You & Cudi possibly somewhere down the line next?” The Chicago rapper responded, “Never. F**k him 4 life.”

However, he didn’t stop there. When another fan pointed out that it seems many people don’t like the Cleveland native, Lupe elaborated. “Outside of his musical genius, fame and success. Cudi is a really sneaky punk b***h a** b***h…it’s not even that controversial or spicy of a take. His personal resume outside the spotlight is trash.”

Furthermore, the DRILL MUSIC IN ZION MC agreed with some comments doubting Cudi’s vibe. “I swear I’ve had this feeling about Cudi these last few years,” another tweeter wrote. “Outside of the music bruh gives off a weird ass vibe.”

“You can gone confirm that…on me,” Lupe said. “But if you rock with his music etc that’s cool…just know that Al Pacino ain’t really Scarface and your parents are Santa Claus.”

Finally, Lupe seemed to respond to people either disappointed with his words or defending Cudi. After all, he has a legion of fans and built up an incredible and influential career in the 2000s and 2010s. However, in Lupe’s eyes, it’s just the way he sees things.

“Dear Kids,” he wrote just an hour after his last Cudi tweet, “always call it like you see it. Respectfully, Lupe #AddValue.”

Still, for what it’s worth, the beef has been pretty one-sided. Cudi’s yet to respond, but his most recent social media post indicates that he likely won’t. Otherwise, it would mean Lupe brought him out of his peaceful mindset, which he elaborated in Instagram and Twitter posts.

What do you think of Lupe’s comments towards Cudi? Moreover, do you think this beef will ever be squashed? Let us know in the comments down below. As always, stay tuned to HNHH for the latest in rap beef, reconciliations, and everything in between.

Ghostface Killah Sets The Record Straight On Speculated Raekwon Beef

Hulu’s Wu-Tang: An American Saga first debuted in 2019. The dramatized origin story of the Wu-Tang Clan stars Ashton Sanders (RZA), Siddiq Saunderson (Ghostface Killah), and Shameik Moore (Raekwon). The show is currently gearing up for its third and final season in February, but ahead of its premiere, Ghostface Killah has commented on one of its most shocking story arcs.

For those who have not yet seen the show, Ghostface Killah and Raekwon’s characters are depicted as deadly adversaries. In the first season, Raekwon even participates in a violent act that puts Ghostface’s entire family in danger. Since Rae and Ghost famously teamed up for one of the most celebrated rap albums of all time, many casual fans couldn’t believe that they were originally mortal enemies. According to one of Ghostface Killah, fans were right to be skeptical.

Ghostface Killah denies ever having beef with Raekwon

In a recent interview on the Outside with Gorilla Nems podcast, Ghostface Killah denied the validity of the show’s depiction of his beef with his Only Build 4 Cuban Linx… collaborator. When asked how they were able to work so closely together after beefing, Ghostface denied ever having beef with Raekwon.

“Me and Rae never had beef. That’s what I told you,” Ghostface Killah explained. “Yeah, me and Rae never had no problems. It was the way them characters got switched around. It’s TV.”

“I don’t laugh about that shit ‘cause that shit ain’t my story,” Ghostface continued. “But Rae my bro. I love him. We just had great chemistry. We had chemistry. Like he taught me a lot of shit.”

In an exclusive 2013 interview with HNHH, Raekwon admitted that there was beef and tension within Wu-Tang from the beginning. In a 2021 interview with VladTV, Raekwon confirmed Ghostface was beefing with one of his friends. That tension eventually led to Ghostface’s home getting shot up.

Do you think Ghostface Killah is being completely honest? Or do you think the depiction of Ghostface and Raekwon’s tensions in Hulu’s Wu-Tang show may have some merit? Let us know what you think in the comment section and stay tuned to HNHH for more news.

Pusha T On Drake’s Subliminal Disses: “I Love It”

It’s been four long years since the explosive feud between Pusha T and Drake spread across the internet. In a matter of days, the two rappers threw shots at each other via diss tracks, though Push’s “The Story Of Adidon” was really the nail in the coffin. The former G.O.O.D Music president pulled the curtain back on Drake’s family life, took shots at his engineer, and used a photo of the rapper wearing Blackface for the cover art. However, Drake decided to pull back from the feud before responding to the record.

In a recent interview with XXL, Pusha T reflected on the feud and how things have shaped up years later. Though we don’t hear Drake speak about Push often, the Canadian rapper does throw a few shots at his nemesis subliminally. However, Push doesn’t mind it at all.

“Every time I hear a subliminal in one of his songs, it just lets me know how deep it hurt him,” the rapper said. “Because it’s been four years now. And we still talking about it. He is. I don’t. I’m cool. But every time it’s a subliminal, I’m like, Yes. It burns, it still burns. It lets me know. I love it.”

On the other hand, Push explained that he doesn’t think Drake will ever release a diss track towards him in the future. Seeing as how Drake went through J. Prince and a few other parties before deciding against releasing a “career-ending” diss track, Pusha T said that he’s “not interested anymore.”

“We should see. I don’t know what he’ll do,” he said. “At this point, that’s contradictory. Would he jump out the window? And he wanna say I took it too far? Then he gon’ tell people. Tell the label. Tell J Prince. My God. It’s a lot. With all of that being said, it’s like I’m not interested anymore. I’m just really not.”

Elsewhere in the interview, Pusha T revealed that he’s working on a new album.

NBA YoungBoy Checks Rich The Kid Over Pic With Lil Durk

As much as we talk about celebrity sightings and who linked up with who, it’s rare to see the artists themselves hop on the discussion. NBA YoungBoy surprised Rich the Kid on his new radio show when he pressed him about a picture he has with Lil Durk.

For those unaware, YB and Durkio have long-standing beef, and things almost got tense during the conversation. Moreover, Rich the Kid was pictured with Lil Durk back at a Fourth of July party at a restaurant. The moment came up again during the premiere of YoungBoy’s new radio show, which premiered on Amazon’s Amp platform this Friday, December 9th. During the show, the Queens-born rapper hopped on to talk with the Baton Rouge native. That’s when the Ma’ I Got A Family artist pressed the Kid about taking a picture with his rival.

“How this picture even came across?” he asked the “New Freezer” rapper. “Like there’s a n***a pulled out the camera, you ain’t just let me stand up and get the f**k on. You know I ain’t got no problem with dude, you know. But you ain’t know you feel like let me stand up and get the f**k on?”

Furthermore, they discussed the occasion and how Rich doesn’t need to get caught up in their beef. From his perspective, the “Plug Walk” star was just being cool with a fellow artist and wants to be on some “‘stop the violence’ s**t.” Meanwhile, YB was also making it clear that this was a conversation, not a confrontation.

“It’s all good. It’s all good, you know,” he told the Kid after some back-and-forth. “This is a positive station here even though I’m talking a little aggressive. And I’m gonna play a lot of music to support certain people, f**k it.” However, Rich the Kid’s was still noticeably reserved and clearly a little nervous, but he took it in stride. It’s great to see them look past their individual relationships with Durkio and form one themselves. In fact, it’s not the only relationship the Slime is excited about.

“I’m so happy than a motherf**ker. I have been waiting for this my whole life and I’m finally at this moment,” YoungBoy remarked in reference to his January 7th wedding to Jazlyn Mychelle. “I’m excited to see you, your wife and the kids, Ms. Tori.” Apart from that, you can check out the clip where they talk about the pic with The Voice below.

What do you think of YB and Rich the Kid staying respectful despite the Durk beef? Let us know in the comments below and stay tuned to HNHH for the latest on NBA YoungBoy’s crazy career.
