Al B Sure discussed his relationship with his son, Quincy Brown, in the comments section of a recent tribute for Kim Porter that he posted on Instagram in honor of the anniversary of her passing. Captioning pictures of Porter and Brown, he wrote: “Is it just another coincidence that one of our favorite activities to do together (pre @Quincy’s birth) was to sit ringside at our brother Michael Gerard Tyson’s fights and cheer him on. After MT’s knock outs, we’d attend the press conference and we’d be cuttin’ up while #IronMike addressed the media. Kimberlina, guess what? Your 58 year old, strong as an OX, very protective big brother’s is at it again on @Netflix.”

When one user commented on the post by asking if Brown had unblocked him on social media, he responded: “The real Question is he still following a man that abused his mother and he knows it very clearly. Think about that when you’re sitting at your desk at work on Monday trying to unravel this mystery in your mind.”

Sure and Brown have had a complicated relationship for years. During a recent appearance on Angela Yee’s Lip Service podcast, Brown had said that the two were doing better as of late, but things appear to have taken a turn in the time since. Earlier this month, Sure wrote on social media that his love for his children is being used as a “weapon” against him.

Quincy Brown Shades Biological Father Al B. Sure Amidst Diddy Drama

Quincy Brown’s relationship with his biological father has been well-documented. The actor and singer has spent most of his life with Diddy as his father figure, which has been maintained in light of the recent accusations leveled at the mogul. Quincy is standing by Diddy, and has even appeared in court to show his support. Amidst all the Diddy drama, however, Quincy took time out to do two things. He paid tribute to his late mother and he shaded his biological father in the same Instagram post.

Quincy Brown posted a throwback photo on November 15. The actor can be seen next to his mother, Kim Porter, while sitting in a toy car. “I miss you every day,” he wrote next to a heart emoji. The sincerity of the post checks out, especially with regards to Porter. It was the mention of Al B. Sure, however, that turned the heads of fans. The first part of the caption reads: “Here’s a rare photo of my with my mom and dad.” Seemingly harmless, until one realizes that Al B. Sure is nowhere to be found in the pic. Quincy Brown is calling out his biological father for being absent during his childhood.

Quincy Brown Has Continued To Support Diddy

The tensions between Quincy Brown and Al B. Sure have been particularly high in 2024. In January, Al B. Sure! posted a cryptic message on Instagram alluding to Diddy’s parenting. “Nothing breaks a dad more than seeing his love for his kids turned into a weapon against him,” he wrote. The comment section then filled with users criticizing Sure for being a bad father himself. It probably didn’t help that Quincy Brown wrote an open letter to the singer, criticizing him for being an absentee father, in 2019.

Despite these issues, Quincy Brown claims that he’s still in touch with his biological father. He spoke on their relationship during a recent appearance on the Lip Service with Angela Yee podcast. “He tends to, like, try and do, like, the ‘dad thing’ a lot,” Brown admitted. “But it’s like that’s not really where we’re at in life. Like, we homies more than anything.” Al B. Sure is not endearing himself to his son through Diddy, that’s for certain. The singer implied that the Bad Boy mogul was responsible for putting him in a coma back in 2022.

When The Neighborhood Talk reposted the statement, fans had mixed feelings. “All of Al sons said he was absent. So he needs to stop. You failed Quincy,” one user wrote. Another countered: “P Diddy bullied this man out of fatherhood.” One praised Quincy for being mature about their relationship in the public eye. “Quincy is doing a good job of keeping his personal business private, especially this with his dad. Very mature young man… but his dad…,” they wrote.

Quincy recently detailed his relationship with his biological father during an appearance on Angela Yee’s Lip Service podcast. “We cool now. I just talked to him a couple days ago. Earlier this week, one Los Angeles Halloween party took a turn for the worse, as Diddy’s sons showed up and tried to fight Ray J. Sources told TMZ that Quincy Brown, Christian Combs, and Justin Combs weren’t pleased with a few comments Ray J made about their father, and wanted to throw hands as a result. Luckily, nobody got hurt. David Weintraub, Ray J’s longtime manager, claims that all the confrontation did was ruin the party.

“That was an unfortunate incident,” Weintraub explained as news of the run-in made its rounds. “It was a great party. It got ruined by little kids. Trying to fight a big boy.” As expected, countless social media users and peers are weighing in on the debacle. The latest was Charlamagne Tha God, who had a lot to say.

Charlamagne Tha God Tells Diddy’s Sons To Be Careful

On The Breakfast Club recently, Charlamagne explained that if Diddy’s sons aren’t careful, they could find themselves in serious trouble. “Diddy’s kids need to sit their a***s down somewhere, okay? Don’t get spanked trying to prove a point that you don’t have to prove. You gon’ end up in jail with your pops or someplace worse,” he said. At that point, DJ Envy pushed back, arguing that the Combs brothers and Quincy likely see Ray J as a close family friend. According to him, this could have played a role in the confrontation.

“Aye, man, whatever y’all are on – get off it,” Charlamagne responded. “I know you upset — you frustrated because of what Diddy goin’ through. But stop projecting before you get hurt. Wack 100 Issues Warning To Diddy’s Sons Following Ray J Fight

Wack 100 is not playing around. The music executive called Ray J during a live stream to get the details on the singer’s recent altercation. Ray J got into a fight with Diddy’s sons during a Halloween party, but it was reportedly broken up before it got serious. The singer told Wack 100 that he was rushed by around 8 people when he went to leave the party. This did not sit well with the West Coast fixture. Wack 100 went off on Justin Combs, King Combs and Quincy Brown. He effectively issued a warning against them, and suggested there could be retaliation.

“It’s on,” Wack 100 told Ray J while on stream. “That’s what it’s gon’ be.” One of the other people on the cat urged the executive to cool down, since the Combs family is dealing with a lot of personal turmoil. He did not budge. Wack 100 is not swayed by the Diddy case, or the effect it’s having on the disgraced Bad Boy founder’s sons. “If we run into you,” he told the Combs family. “Act like it’s 1995.” TMZ reports that the altercation was spurred by the fact that Ray J has been critical of Diddy in interviews. Justin Combs, King Combs and Quincy Brown were evidently bothered by this, and decided to confront the singer.

Wack 100 Doesn’t Have Sympathy For The Combs Family

Ray J is not the only music industry veteran who has been critical of Diddy, however. Wack 100 has been very clear where he stands on the mogul in 2024. He predicted that Diddy would end up serving at least 15 years in prison during an appearance on No Jumper. “II know he will tell [everything to the feds for less time in prison]… Whatever he knows,” Wack 100 posited. “Top of the pyramid knows what is going on at the top of the pyramid.”

Wack 100 was also critical of the Combs family patriarch after the footage of Diddy assaulting Cassie found its way online. The music executive took to Instagram Live to make it clear that he was disgusted by what he saw. “You’s a b*tch as n**ga. And I hope, if whatever happens to you happens to you, I hope Big Freddy and Deebo Eddie strap your as down,” he asserted. “It’s going down. You did this.” It hasn’t been made clear whether Wack 100’s promise to get it “on” will be honored. Ray J made it seem like he didn’t want any retaliation against the Combs family, but only time will tell.

Diddy’s Son Quincy Sparks Outrage With Trailer For His New Vlog Series

Diddy’s son, Quincy Brown, has shared a trailer for a new show on his YouTube page, Just A Vlog. In the preview, the Bad Boy mogul, who currently resides behind bars in Brooklyn, makes an appearance. Diddy is facing charges of alleged sex trafficking and racketeering but has already pleaded not guilty and denied all of the allegations. “It’s actually never as it seems,” Quincy says in the trailer. “I’m always doing something. Always. And that’s what makes this life a journey.”

As noted by AllHipHop, fans on social media have been labeling the tone of the trailer as well as Diddy’s inclusion, “tone deaf.” One user on X (formerly Twitter) wrote: “This is not a good idea for them lol they actually need to be laying under a rock right now out of sight atm lol it seems like they love attention good or bad lol.” Another added: “Given the joint statement just put out i think this will only make them look worse which i imagine isnt the point and here i thought we wouldnt hear from them until after the trial.”

Quincy Brown Attends Diddy’s Arraignment

As for that joint statement, Diddy’s kids, Quincy, Christian, Justin, D’Lila, Jessie, and Chance, all shared a picture of the family together on Instagram. In the caption, they wrote: “The past month has devastated our family. Many have judged both him and us based on accusations, conspiracy theories, and false narratives that have spiraled into absurdity on social media. We stand united, supporting you every step of the way, We hold onto the truth, knowing it will prevail, and nothing will break the strength of our family. WE MISS YOU & LOVE YOU DAD.” They turned off comments on the post.

Amid Diddy’s ongoing legal issues, one particularly vocal critic of the disgraced mogul has been Al B Sure. The performer never shies away from putting him on blast, particularly as it pertains to his biological son, Quincy Brown. Diddy adopted Quincy when he was three, but according to Al B Sure, he may allegedly be suffering from Stockholm syndrome.

Earlier today, he took to his Instagram Story to share a 2020 clip of Diddy claiming to have adopted a young girl. The clip in question resurfaced following his arrest this month. Al B Sure Suspects Quincy Brown Has Stockholm Syndrome

Al B Sure went on to share a link to the Wikipedia page for Stockholm syndrome, a “Free Quincy” hashtag, and use emojis to write “[love you] Son.” At the time of writing, Quincy has yet to respond. However, he did hop online this week to release a statement alongside his siblings. In it, they shut down the “hurtful and false” rumors circulating about their parents, Diddy and the late Kim Porter. This was a response to the book Kim’s Lost Words: A Journey for Justice, which was published earlier this month. They insist she had no part in writing it, and urged the public to remember their mother for who she was instead of the “horrific conspiracy theories” surrounding her.

Al B Sure also issued a response to the controversial book, dubbing it “calculated fiction” and even insinuating that Diddy allegedly murdered Porter. Diddy’s Kids Call Out New Kim Porter Book For Spreading “False Rumors”

Diddy accusations have become similar to newspapers, in that there’s seemingly a new one every day. The Bad Boy founder has been abandoned by virtually everyone who was close to him in the industry. Except for his children. They have continued to defend their father in the media. While Diddy sits behind bars, the Combs family have issued a statement dismissing the recent book credited to their late mother, Kim Porter. They claim the book spreads “false rumors,” and does not reflect the experiences or Porter’s opinion of Diddy.

Four of Diddy’s children issued a joint statement on September 24. King Combs, Quincy Brown, and the mogul’s twin daughters, Jessie James and D’Lila Star, were credited. The statement dealt explicitly with the controversial book Kim’s Lost Words: A Journey for Justice. They claimed that nothing stated in the book is accurate, and are offended by the portrait it paints of their family. “Claims that our mother wrote a book are simply untrue,” the family explained. “She did not, and anyone claiming to have a manuscript is misrepresenting themselves.” The Combs children also asserted that anyone speaking on behalf of their late mother should not be trusted.

Diddy’s Kids Denounced Anyone Speaking For Their Mom

“Any so-called ‘friend’ speaking on behalf of our mom or her family is not a friend,” they added. This is an extremely important clarification, as several people have come forth and claimed to know Porter’s “true” feelings about Diddy. The Combs family concluded their statement by asking fans to respect the legacy their mother left behind. “We ask that everyone please respect our mother, Kim Porter,” they wrote. “And hold her legacy in high regard.” It’s a heartbreaking statement to read in its entirety. Especially given the context of the man who wrote Porter’s so-called “memoir.”

Chris Todd, born Todd Christopher Guzze, told Rolling Stone he is behind the book. He told the outlet that he believed the facts reported are real. Todd admitted, however, he didn’t know for sure. “If somebody put my feet to the fire and they said, ‘Life or death, is that book real?’ I have to say I don’t know,” he stated. “But it’s real enough to me.” Despite Todd’s uncertainty and the pleas of the Combs family, Kim’s Lost Words is currently number one on Amazon.

Diddy’s Sons Leave Courthouse After Mogul’s Denied Bond Appeal: Watch

Diddy is persona non grata in 2024. The Bad Boy founder is the most reviled figure in hip hop. Based on the horrifying list of charges and allegations made against him, the revulsion makes sense. His family has continued to show support, however. Diddy’s sons: Justin Combs, Christian Combs, and Quincy Brown, have been present in court each day since the mogul was arrested. They wanted to see their father get his bond appealed, but unfortunately for them, the opposite occurred on September 18. Diddy’s appeal was denied a second time, and the Combs family was forced to leave their father behind as they left the courthouse.

Justin Combs, Christian Combs, and Quincy Brown were filmed leaving the courthouse following the bond ruling. The three men avoided speaking to press, and were escorted out of the courthouse by the nearby security. Christian Combs and Quincy Brown were also seen entering the courthouse prior to the September 17 arraignment. The former may have been a bystander in court this week, but he is dealing with legal troubles of his own. Christian Combs was accused of sexual assault, sexual harassment and infliction of emotional distress in April.

Diddy’s Son Christian Has Also Been Accused Of Assault

The woman who filed the lawsuit, Grace O’Marcaigh, alleged that Christian Combs assaulted her in December 2022. Diddy was named as a defendant in the lawsuit, which was openly criticized by Diddy attorney Aaron Dyer. The attorney called the accusations against Christian Combs “lewd and meritless” and criticized Grace O’Marcaigh’s lawyer, Tyrone Blackburn, of manufacturing “lies” to exploit Diddy’s family. Christian Combs has reportedly taken the most active role in Diddy’s indictment.

People Magazine reported that Combs, nicknamed “King,” requested a copy of the indictment during the September 17 arraignment. Witnesses claim they saw him reading the 14-page indictment against Diddy. The charges listed include sex trafficking, fraud or coercion and transportation to engage in prostitution, and racketeering. Justin Combs has remained silent on the charges made against his father. He did book a role in Power Book: Ghost II, however, which is a show run by 50 Cent. 50, notably, has become one of Diddy’s most vocal critics in the past year.

Diddy’s Sons King Combs & Quincy Brown Tease New Music Amid His Legal Issues

Things haven’t looked good for Diddy over the past few months, but evidently, his children aren’t letting that get them down. Last week, footage of the Bad Boy Records founder physically assaulting his ex-girlfriend Cassie in 2016 surfaced online, sparking outrage among social media users and peers. He’s since apologized for his behavior, though it didn’t do much to mitigate the damage already done to his reputation. Aside from that, Diddy’s long list of lawsuits also grew this week, with a model suing the mogul for allegedly drugging and sexually assaulting her in 2003.

Amid all of this, Diddy’s family has kept a fairly low profile, though two of his sons hopped online yesterday to preview a new project they have on the way. The collaboration is between Diddy’s biological son Christian “King” Combs, and his stepson Quincy Brown. At the time of writing, it does not yet have an official title or release date.

Unfortunately, the preview isn’t going over so well on social media, with various users criticizing the duo for the song and their questionable timing. “Read the ROOM,” one Instagram user writes in The Shade Room‘s comments section. “It’s going aluminum foil,” another jokes.

This isn’t King’s first time receiving backlash for one of his songs, however. Earlier this month, he unleashed a diss track called “Pick A Side” on 50 Cent, which many thought left a lot to be desired.
